1. Conformity of Use

For carefree and safe use of this product, please read this manual and safety information
carefully and follow the instructions. The unit is registered as a device that does not
cause or suffer from radio-frequency interference. It is CE approved and it conforms with
the Low Voltage Directory. The safety and installation instructions must be observed.
Technical manipulation of the product, or any changes to the product, are forbidden, due
to security and approval issues. Please take care to set up the device correctly - consult
your user guide. Young children should use the device only under adult supervision. No
guarantee or liability will be accepted for any damage caused due to incorrect use of the
equipment supplied, other than indicated in this owner’s manual.

SAFETY WARNINGS

 To prevent short circuits, this product (except if specified for outdoor usage) should
only be used inside and only in dry spaces. Do not expose the components to rain or
humidity.
 Only connect the power cord to the mains after checking whether the mains voltage
is the same as the values on the rating labels. Never connect a power cord when it is
damaged. In that case, contact your supplier. If there is any danger of a thunderstorm,
it is a good precaution to unplug the power supply from the mains network in order to
protect it from lightning. The same applies if the system is to be out of action for any
length of time.
 Avoid strong mechanical tear and wear, extreme ambient temperatures, strong
vibrations and atmospheric humidity.
 Do not disassemble any part of the product: the device contains live parts and no
user-serviceable parts are inside. The product should only be repaired or serviced by
qualified and authorized service personnel. Defected pieces must be replaced by original
(spare) parts.

2. Introduction
The best music sound ever with the ebode BTS21! Stream your music from any Bluetooth
device like Smartphone, tablet or laptop to the BTS21 and you are assured of great audio
quality with this wireless 2.1 stereo set. The BTS21 speakers and subwoofer will give your
music an extra dimension with powerful and clear sound. With the buttons on the BTS21
Sound Speaker Set you can adjust the settings the way you want. Whether you listen to
your favorite rock song, classical music or trendy tunes, you will experience the ultimate
listening experience. The BTS21 is extremely easy to install because it uses a Bluetooth
connection, that also gives you a range up to 10 meters. Up to 8 users can be stored into
the memory. From both the source and the BTS21 you can browse through your music and
audio streaming from Spotify® and Youtube® is now also available. An RCA cable
(included) connects the BTS21 Sound Speaker Set directly to sources link PC, CD player or
MP4 devices.

6. Pairing your Bluetooth devices
A. Power up the subwoofer with the ON/OFF switch on the back.

B. Open Bluetooth on your laptop, smartphone etc.

The Power LED on the subwoofer must be lit, indicating the speaker is currently ON. To
allow pairing to your Bluetooth device, press and hold the Bluetooth connect button (9) for
about 3 seconds. Release the button when 2 beep tones are heard and the status LED is
blinking rapidly.

C. Search for BTS21 on your laptop, smartphone etc.

D. Once your Bluetooth device has found the BTS21 connect to BTS21. If a pass code is

required, please enter 0000.

E. If Pairing is successful you are ready to stream and listen your music via the BTS21.

7. Control instructions
A. Volume: Move the volume wheel on the backside of the subwoofer up or down to

increase or decrease the volume. You may also adjust your source (laptop, smartphone
etc.) device volume to increase or decrease the volume of the BTS21. Play, Pause,
Previous Track and Next Track can be done on both the subwoofer and your connected
device.

B. Reconnecting (with Bluetooth) to the BTS21:
You can and have to reconnect your paired Bluetooth device to your speaker manually
when the connection is lost. Please enable Bluetooth (if not active) on your laptop,
smartphone etc. and select 'BTS21' on your Bluetooth device to reconnect. There is no
need to press the Bluetooth connect button (9) on the subwoofer if the BTS21 is already in
your Bluetooth devices (laptop, smartphone etc.) memory.

C. Hardwire connection to the BTS21:
The BTS21 also has the possibility to hardwire an audio source such as CD, DVD, Blu-ray
player, iPod, MP4, MP4, desktop computer, laptop etc. Use the included 3.5mm jack to RCA
stereo cable to connect your device to the audio input (3) on the back of the subwoofer.
The BTS21 can handle both a connected Bluetooth device as well as a hardwired device at
the same time.

8. Frequently Asked Questions

Perform the following trouble-shooting steps before sending the BTS21 back for servicing.

Unit cannot be powered on. What should I do?

 Make sure that the AC cord is firmly connected to the unit and that the power

outlet is turned on.

 Ensure that the Power ON / OFF Switch is in the ON position.

When the speaker is powered ON, the LED Status Indicator will be lighted up.

There’s no Bluetooth connection between my device and the BTS21. What should I do?

 Ensure that your Bluetooth enabled device supports the A2DP profile. Refer to its

user's manual on how to enable (turn on) the Bluetooth functions and capabilities.

 Delete the BTS21 name entry from your Bluetooth device paired memory list and

perform the steps in Section 4. (Pairing your Bluetooth devices) to re-connect
your device with the BTS21.

 Ensure that both your Bluetooth device and the BTS21 are not connected to any

other Bluetooth device.

 On some Bluetooth devices, you may need to select the BTS21 as your default

output device after pairing is complete**.

A Bluetooth link is established and paired between the devices but there’s no music. What
should I do?

 Please check if the volume button on the back of the subwoofer is not turned

down to 0 volume output.

 Please check your Bluetooth devices volume is not turned down to 0 volume

output.

 Please check if your Bluetooth device is playing any music.

**With some built-in Bluetooth enabled computers, 3rd party USB Bluetooth dongles,
smartphones or other devices, you may need to manually specify / set-up the audio output
as the BTS21 (e.g., under sound and audio devices section on your computer's settings)

Please consult your manufacturer’s documentation for further information.

9. Safety Instructions

A. Please read the following before using the product:
To be completely disconnected from the power input, the mains plug has to be
disconnected / detached from the mains.
Disconnect the mains plug when the device is expected to be unused for several days.

B. Additional guidelines for Bluetooth devices
The short wave radio frequency signals of a Bluetooth device may impair the operation of
other electronic and medical devices.
Switch off the device where it is prohibited. Do not use the device in medical facilities,
aircraft, refuelling points, close to automatic doors, automatic fire alarms or other
automatically controlled devices.
Keep this device at least 20 cm from pacemakers and other medical devices. Radio waves
may impair the operation of pacemakers and other medical devices.

Wireless performance is dependent on your device's Bluetooth wireless technology. Refer
to your device manufacturer's manual. Manufacturers will not be liable for any lost of data
or leakages resulting from the use of these devices.

10. Bluetooth Memory

Connected Bluetooth devices would be able to re-connect to the BTS21 when the BTS21 is
powered ON and not connected to any device.

Note: The BTS21 is able to remember up to 8 paired devices in its memory bank,
eliminating the need to re-pair again should any of these devices connect to the BTS21.
Should a 9th device be paired to the BTS21, the 1st device will be erased from the BTS21
memory banks. At any one time a maximum memory of 8 devices are being retained.

A. Toggle between last two connected Bluetooth devices
you can toggle between devices to enjoy your favourite music from another paired
Bluetooth device by following these steps to establish connection: Press the Bluetooth
connect button (9) once, the LED indicator goes off and blinks at every 2 second interval
and the next device is ready to stream music.

Note: Ensure your next paired device's Bluetooth feature is on and ready to accept
connections.

B. Return to default setting
you can return the BTS21 to default settings and erase its memory of paired devices by
following these steps.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 8 seconds while the speaker is ON, after a long
beep tone is heard LED Status Indicator blinks rapidly and the memory cleared. The BTS21
is back in “pairing mode” and ready to accept new connection from Bluetooth devices.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

• Um Kurzschlüsse zu vermeiden, sollte dieses Produkt (außer wenn es ausdrücklich für

den Außeneinsatz konzipiert ist) nur innerhalb und nur in trockenen Räumen verwendet
werden. Setzen Sie die Komponenten nicht Regen oder Feuchtigkeit aus.

• Schließen Sie das Netzkabel erst dann an das Stromnetz an, wenn Sie überprüft haben,

Subwoofer wird Ihrer Musik eine zusätzliche Dimension mit starken und klaren Klang
geben. Mit den Tasten auf dem BTS21 Sound Speaker Set können Sie ihre Einstellungen
anpassen, wie Sie möchten. Egal ob Sie ihre Lieblings-Rock-Songs, Klassik oder trendy
Musik hören, sie erleben das ultimative Hörerlebnis. Der BTS21 ist sehr einfach zu
installieren, weil er eine Bluetooth-Verbindung verwendet, die ihnen eine Reichweite von

6. Ihr Bluetooth Gerät verbinden
A. Schalten Sie den Subwoofer ein, durch Drücken der ON / OFF-Schalter auf der

Rückseite.

B. Öffnen Sie Bluetooth auf Ihrem Laptop, Smartphone, etc.
Die Power LED Lampe am Subwoofer sollte leuchten, was bedeutet, dass der Lautsprecher
eingeschaltet ist. Wenn Sie möchten, das Gerät mit Ihrem Bluetooth-Gerät gekoppelt wird,
halten Sie die Bluetooth Connect-Taste (9) für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt danach lassen Sie
die Taste wieder los wenn Sie 2 Signaltöne hören und sehen dass die Status-LED schnell
blinkt.

C. Suchen Sie den BTS21 auf Ihrem Laptop, Smartphone, etc.

D. Sobald Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät BTS21 gefunden ist, wählen Sie den BTS21 um zu

verbinden. Wenn Sie zur Eingabe eines Kennworts aufgefordert werden, geben Sie 0000
ein.

E. Ist die Koppelung erfolgreich, sind Sie bereit, um Ihre Musik zu streamen und durch die
BTS21 an zu hören.

7. Anweisungen
A. Lautstärke: Schieben Sie den Lautstärkeregler auf der Rückseite des Subwoofers nach

links oder rechts, um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen oder zu verringern. Sie können auch die
Quelle (Laptop, Smartphone, etc.) gebrauchen, um das Volumen des BTS21 zu erhöhen
oder zu verringern. Die Funktionen Wiedergabe, Pause, vorheriger Titel und nächster Titel
koennen sowohl vom Subwoofer aus, sowie dem angeschlossenen Gerät eingestellt
werden.

B. Erneut verbinden (mit Bluetooth) an den BTS21:
Wenn die Verbindung unterbrochen wird, können und müssen Sie erneut Ihr gekoppeltes
Bluetooth-Gerät manuell mit dem Lautsprecher verbinden. Schalten Sie Bluetooth (wenn
nicht aktiv) an auf Ihrem Laptop, Smartphone, etc. und wählen Sie "BTS21" auf Ihrem
Bluetooth-Gerät um erneut zu verbinden. Es ist nicht notwendig, um die Bluetooth-Taste
(9) am Subwoofer gedrückt zu halten, wenn der BTS21 bereits im Speicher Ihres
Bluetooth-Gerätes (Laptop, Smartphone, etc.) vorhanden ist.

C. Audio Quelle anschließen am BTS21:
Der BTS21 hat auch die Möglichkeit, um eine Audioquelle an einem Gerät anzuschließen,
so als CD, DVD, Blu-ray player, iPod, MP4, MP4, Desktop, Laptop, etc. Verwenden Sie den
mitgelieferten 3,5 mm Stecker zum RCA-Stereo-Kabel um Ihr Gerät an den Audio-Eingang
(3) an der Rückseite des Subwoofers anzuschließen.
Die BTS21 kann sowohl mit einem Bluetooth-Gerät sowie mit einer Audioquelle gleichzeitig
umgehen.

8. Häufig gestelte Fragen

Führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus, um Probleme zu beheben bevor Sie den BTS21
zurückschicken zum Kundenservice.

Das Gerät kann nicht eingeschaltet werden. Was soll ich tun?

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzwerkkabel richtig an das Gerät angeschlossen ist

und dass das Gerät bzw. die Steckdose eingeschaltet ist.

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass der ON / OFF-Schalter auf ON steht. Wenn der

Lautsprecher eingeschaltet ist, leuchtet die LED-Statusanzeige.

Es gibt keine Bluetooth-Verbindung zwischen meinem Gerät und dem BTS21. Was soll ich
tun?

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät das A2DP-Profil unterstützt. Schauen

Sie im Benutzerhandbuch nach, bei Vorgangsweise (anschalten) die Bluetooth­Funktionen und Möglichkeiten anzuschalten.

 Entfernen Sie den BTS21 aus dem Speicher Ihres Bluetooth-Geräts und folgen Sie

den Schritten in Kapitel 6 (Ihr Bluetooth-fähiges Gerät erneut verbinden), um das
Gerät wieder mit dem BTS21 zu verbinden.

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass sowohl Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät, sowie der BTS21 nicht auf

einem anderen Bluetooth-Gerät angeschlossen ist.

 Bei manchen Bluetooth-Geräten müssen Sie vermutlich den BTS21 als Standard-

Ausgabegerät auswählen, nachdem das „Verbinden“ abgeschlossen ist. **

Eine Bluetooth Verbindung wird aufgebaut und es kommt zur Koppelung zwischen den
Geräten, aber ich höre keine Musik. Was soll ich tun?

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Lautstärkeregler auf der Rückseite des Subwoofer-

Lautstärke nicht auf 0 steht.

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei Ihren Bluetooth-Gerät die Lautstärke nicht auf 0

steht.

 Vergewissern Sie sich das Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät Musik abspielt.

**Bei einigen integrierten Bluetooth-Computern, 3rd-Party-USB Bluetooth Dongles,
Smartphones oder anderen Geräten, müssen Sie manuell die Audioausgabe als
BTS21einstellen (z.B. unter Sound und Audiogeräte in den Einstellungen Ihres Computers)
Schauen Sie in Ihren Dokumenten vom Hersteller nach für weitere Informationen.

9. Sicherheitshinweise

A. Lesen Sie die folgenden Punkte, bevor Sie das Produkt verwenden:
Um das Gerät vollständig vom Netz zu trennen, muss der Stecker gezogen werden. Ziehen
Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie erwarten das Gerät für mehrere Tage nicht
zu verwenden.

B. Zusätzliche Leitlinien für die Bluetooth-Geräte
Die Kurzwellen-Hochfrequenzsignalen aus einem Bluetooth-Gerät können die Funktionen
von anderen elektronischen und medizinischen Geräten beeinflussen. Schalten Sie das
Gerät aus, wo die Benutzung verboten ist. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in medizinischen
Einrichtungen, Flugzeugen, an Tankstellen, in der Nähe von automatischer Türen,
automatischer Brandmelder oder anderer automatischer Geräte.
Halten Sie das Gerät mindestens 20 cm weg von Herzschrittmachern und anderen
medizinischen Geräten. Funkwellen können die Funktion von Herzschrittmachern und
anderen medizinischen Geräten beeinflussen.

Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung vom Hersteller der das Gerät geliefert hat. Der Hersteller
haftet nicht für den Verlust von Daten oder Leckagen aufgrund der Nutzung dieser Geräte.

10. Bluetooth Memory

Angeschlossene Bluetooth-Geräte sind in der Lage, mit dem BTS21 erneut eine Verbindung
zu machen, wenn der BTS21 eingeschaltet wird und nicht an ein anderes Gerät
angeschlossen ist. Hinweis: Der BTS21 ist in der Lage , eine Speicherkapazität von 8
gekoppelten Geräte in seinem Speicher zu erfassen, dadurch besteht die Notwendigkeit,
wieder Verbindung zum BTS21 zu machen . Wenn ein neuntes Gerät an den BTS21
gekoppelt wird, wird die erste Einrichtung von dem Speicher im BTS21 gelöscht. Zu einem
bestimmten Zeitpunkt wird eine maximale Speicherkapazität von 8 Einheiten beibehalten
werden.

A. Das Umschalten zwischen den beiden zuletzt verbundenen Bluetooth-Geräten
Sie können zwischen den Geräten wechseln, um Ihre Lieblingsmusik zu genießen von
einem anderen gekoppelten Bluetooth-Gerät, indem Sie die folgenden Schritte befolgen:

Sie können die Standardeinstellungen bei dem BTS21 zurücksetzen und den Speicher von
den gekoppelten Geräten löschen, dafür führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus.
Drücken Sie die Bluetooth-Taste und halten Sie diese 8 Sekunden lang gedrückt , während

1. Gebruiksvoorschrift
Voor een zorgeloos en veilig gebruik van dit product, dient u deze handleiding en
veiligheidsinformatie zorgvuldig te lezen en de instructies op te volgen. Het apparaat is
geregistreerd als een apparaat dat geen verstoring door radiofrequentie veroorzaakt of hier
hinder van ondervindt. Het is CE goedgekeurd en voldoet aan de laagspanningsrichtlijn. De
veiligheid en installatie-instructies dienen in acht te worden genomen. Technische
veranderingen van het product, dan wel wijzigingen aan het product, zijn verboden, om
redenen van veiligheid en keuringen. Let er op bij gebruik van het apparaat dat u de
gebruikershandleiding correct raadpleegt. Jonge kinderen mogen het apparaat alleen onder
toezicht van volwassenen gebruiken. Garantie of aansprakelijkheid zullen niet worden
aanvaard voor schade veroorzaakt door verkeerd gebruik van de geleverde apparatuur,
anders dan vermeld in deze handleiding.

VEILIGHEIDSWAARSCHUWINGEN

• Om kortsluiting te voorkomen, dient dit product (tenzij anders aangegeven voor gebruik
buitenshuis) alleen binnen en alleen te worden gebruikt in droge ruimten. Stel de
componenten niet bloot aan regen of vocht.

• Sluit de stroomkabel aan op het stopcontact nadat u hebt gecontroleerd of de
netspanning gelijk is aan de waarde die op de typeplaatjes is aangegeven. Sluit nooit een
stroomkabel aan wanneer deze beschadigd is. In dat geval kunt u contact opnemen met
uw leverancier. Als er gevaar dreigt van onweer, is het een goede voorzorgsmaatregel om
de voeding los te koppelen van het elektriciteitsnet, om het te beschermen tegen bliksem.
Hetzelfde geldt als het systeem voor enige tijd buiten werking gesteld is.

• Vermijd sterke mechanische slijtage, extreme temperaturen, sterke trillingen en
luchtvochtigheid.

• Demonteer geen delen van het product: de apparatuur bevat onder spanning staande

delen en bevat geen, door de gebruiker te repareren, onderdelen. Het product mag alleen
worden gerepareerd of onderhouden door gekwalificeerd en bevoegd personeel. Defecte
onderdelen moeten worden vervangen door originele (reserve) onderdelen.

2. Introductie
Muziek klinkt als nooit tevoren met de ebode BTS21! Stream je muziek vanaf elk met
Bluetooth uitgerust apparaat (smartphone, tablet, laptop) naar de BTS21 en je bent
verzekerd van een weergaloze audiokwaliteit met deze draadloze 2.1 stereo set. De
speakers met de subwoofer in deze set geven een extra dimensie aan je muziek met een
krachtig en helder geluid. Met de bedieningsknoppen op de BTS21 Sound Speaker Set kun
je het volume en de bas regelen zoals jij dat wilt. Of je nu naar je favoriete rock nummer,
klassieke muziek of hedendaagse trendy muziek luistert, je beleeft de ultieme
luisterervaring. De BTS21 is uiterst gemakkelijk te installeren omdat het gebruik maakt
van een Bluetooth verbinding, die je een bereik van ca. 10 meter geeft. Er kunnen tot 8
gebruikers in het geheugen worden opgenomen. Zowel vanaf de bron als op de BTS21 kan
door de muziek gebladerd worden. Muziek streamen via Spotify® en Youtube® behoort nu
ook tot de mogelijkheden. Door middel van de bijgeleverde RCA kabel is het mogelijk om
een audiobron zoals PC, CD speler of MP4 speler direct op de BTS21 Sound Speaker Set
aan te sluiten.

6. Uw Bluetooth apparaat koppelen
A. Schakel de subwoofer in met de ON / OFF-schakelaar aan de achterkant.

B. Open Bluetooth op je laptop, smartphone etc.

De Power LED op de subwoofer dient te branden, wat inhoud dat de luidspreker aan staat.
Als u wilt dat het apparaat wordt gekoppeld aan uw Bluetooth-apparaat, houdt dan de
Bluetooth connect-knop (9) gedurende ongeveer 3 seconden ingedrukt. Laat de knop los
wanneer u 2 pieptonen hoort en u ziet dat de status-LED snel knippert.

C. Zoek BTS21 op uw laptop, smartphone etc.

D. Zodra uw Bluetooth-apparaat de BTS21 heeft gevonden, kiest u ervoor het aan te

sluiten op BTS21. Indien er om een wachtwoord wordt gevraagd, dan voert u 0000 in.

E. Als het koppelen is gelukt, bent u klaar om uw muziek streamen en via de BTS21 te
beluisteren.

7. Instructies
A. Volume: Beweeg de volumeknop aan de achterkant van de subwoofer naar links of naar

rechts om het volume te verhogen of verlagen. U kunt ook de bron gebruiken (laptop,
smartphone, enz.) om het volume van de BTS21 te verhogen of verlagen. De functies:
afspelen, pauze, vorig nummer en volgend nummer kunnen vanaf zowel de subwoofer als
het aangesloten apparaat worden ingesteld.

B. Opnieuw verbinden (met Bluetooth) naar de BTS21:
Uw bluetooth apparaat dient opnieuw te worden gekoppeld indien de verbinding is
verbroken met de BTS21.
Schakel Bluetooth (indien niet actief) in op uw laptop, smartphone enz. en selecteer:
'BTS21' op uw Bluetooth-apparaat om opnieuw te verbinden. Het is niet nodig om de
Bluetooth connect-knop (9) op de subwoofer in te drukken als de BTS21 is al in het
geheugen van uw Bluetooth-apparaat (laptop, smartphone, enz.) aanwezig is.

C. Audiobron aansluiten op BTS21:
De BTS21 heeft tevens de mogelijkheid om een audiobron op het apparaat aan te sluiten,
zoals CD, DVD, Blu-ray speler, iPod, MP4, MP4, desktop computer, laptop enz. Gebruik de
meegeleverde 3,5 mm jack naar RCA-stereo-kabel om uw apparaat op de audio-ingang (3)
aan de achterzijde van de subwoofer aan te sluiten.
De BTS21 kan zowel een aangesloten Bluetooth-apparaat, als een Audiobron met RCA
kabel op hetzelfde moment bedienen.
