Pipe bracket has a built-in safety design feature. Pipes have a slight upward angle to prevent shelf board from drooping when shelf is loaded. Weight ratings are for EDL (Evenly Distributed Load). Maximum load capacity is achieved by mounting screws into studs or cement walls. NOTE: If mounting to gypsum rock (cavity wall), it is advised to mount screws into a stud or studs where possible. For hollow wall mounting, you may use any of the holes in the backplate based on what is most suitable for your space. However, do not leave either end of the backplate unsupported by at least one anchor.
