TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The NTL720 loudspeakers are to be suspended below the FB172 Fly Bar. When used in accordance with
the NTL720 Owner’s Manual the Working Load Limits (WLL) and De sign Factor are:
Nominal Weight of NTL720 21 kg / 47 lb
Nominal Weight of FB172 15 kg / 34 lb
WLL (Fly Bar) 341 kg / 752 lb
WLL (Pull Bar) 125 kg / 275 lb
Ultimate Strength Design Factor >10:1
STANDARDS CONFORMITY
The NTL720 loudspeakers are designed and intended to be suspended only from the FB172 Fly Bar in
accordance with the NTL720 Owner’s Manual, and EAW NTL720 Wizard.
Up to sixteen (16) NTL720 loudspeakers may be vertically suspended in a column below the FB172 Fly Bar.
The maximum recommended quantity of stacked NTL720s is six (6). The Pull Bar may be used with any
array that is acceptable for the FB172 Fly Bar, provided that the WLL of the Pull Bar is not exceeded.
Consult the EAW NTL720 Wizard to ensure the WLL of the NTL720 array, the FB172 Fly Bar and the
NTL720 Pull Bar are not exceeded.
The ultimate strength for the NTL720 loudspeaker, FB172 Fly Bar, and NTL720 Pull Bar were determined
utilizing calibrated and certified destructive pull-tests.
