The BH882iP employs maximum efficiency horn loading to
achieve very high LF output. Option al horn mouth e xtension

The sub bass loudspeaker system s shall incorpor ate 2x 18-in
LF transducers in a folded bass horn constructed of 3mm
birch plywood reinforced with high density polyurethane
foam.
System frequency response shall vary no more than ±3 dB
from 38 Hz to 100 Hz measured on axis. The loudspeaker
shall produce a Soun d Pressure Level (SPL) o f 105 dB SPL on
axis at 1 meter with a power input of 1 Watt, and shall be
capable of producing a peak output of 144 SPL on axis at 1
meter . Th e lou dspeaker shall han dle 2000 W atts o f amplifier
power (AES Standard) and shall have a nominal impedance
of 2x 4 Ohms.
The loudspeaker enclosure shall be rectangular in shape. It
shall be constructed of 15mm thi ckness void-free cr oss-grainlaminated Baltic birch plywood and shall employ extensive
internal bracin g. It shall be finished in black catalyzed polyurethane . Input connectors shall be 4-terminal barri er strip.
The sub bass loudspeaker shall be the EAW model BH882iP.
