Water makes up 65% of an adult’s total body weight. Healthy adults need
between 1½ and 3 litres of water per day. Water is essential for the body’s
growth and maintenance, so drinking healthy water is vital to good health.
Filtered tap water offers great benefits:

Thanks to its unique filtration process, the volcanic rocks on different levels
of filtration release a mineral complement rich in trace elements essential for
a good physiological balance.
Selected and extracted from regions far away from human pollution, the
EVA rocks diffuse a number of minerals into the filtered and purified water.
These rocks also help with the stabilization of the pH level of the water
after filtration. With its 8 stage filtration and re-mineralisation process, EVA
produces safe, great tasting water, close to that of natural water found in
mountain springs.
� Everyday issues with tap water
The tap water we use every day for drinking (making tea, coffee, cordials…)
or cooking (boiled vegetables, pasta, rice, fruits…) can carry harmful
substances (lead, chlorine, mercury, aluminium, cadmium, fluoride…)
which can gradually build up inside the body. Even in tiny quantities, these
are unhealthy: some substances such as nitrates can be very dangerous.
There are numerous examples of pollution in European countries, such as
cases where cattle or industrial pollution accidentally disperse organic
elements into the ground. These elements, after chemical degradations and
seepage, end up in the ground water, all of which have consequences for
the pollution of tap water.
Some harmful germs (salmonella, E.coli…) can under certain conditions,
pass through the common tap water filtration processes… For this reason
some consumers do not see water filtration products as luxury goods, but
as compulsory items to have at home.
� The importance of the pH level in water
The pH level of water is very important for the body’s well-being as well as
for the assimilation of nutrients and other vital vitamins and minerals.
The human body has a natural pH level of 7.4. This level must be maintained
for it to function properly. If, for whatever reason, the level becomes too
acidic or alkaline, the body automatically tries to return to its natural level.
The consumption of acidic water - that is, water which contains an inferior
level of minerals, chlorine, sulphates or nitrates - as well as acidic food, can
temporarily hinder the body. Excess acid in the body has been shown to
weaken the immune system. The consumption of a more alkaline water may
help restore the body’s natural balance. When the body tries to regulate its
pH, it may delve into its mineral reserves or store the acid in muscles or fat.
Most medical bodies or biologists agree that the main benefit of having an
alkaline pH (above 7) is to prevent the destruction of enzymes contained in
saliva, which would be eliminated by acidic water (with a pH below 7).

Generally, you will find that highly purified waters (even re-mineralised)
will have a pH below 7. Water from subterranean springs that hasn’t been
chemically treated or modified should have a pH between 7.2 and 7.8 –
the ideal range for good health.

� What you should check before buying a water
filtration system
To ensure a good quality, effective water filtration process there are some
essential elements to check:

The ceramic filter is very important since this is the first step of the
water filtration process. The optimum pore size is essential. The smaller
the pores (in tenths of microns), the more effective they are at filtering
harmful germs.
•
Minerals are important for good quality spring water. The more diverse
they are, the more effective they will be in removing impurities e.g heavy
metals and adding back the beneficial nutrients your body needs.
•
Speed of filtration: the more time it takes, the better and purer the
water will be…
•
No nano-silver technologies.
•
The guarantee: the longer it lasts, the more reliable the product is.

� Why choose EVA water filtration system?
The EVA Advanced Water Filtration System is an effective product that
turns ordinary tap water into purified spring water using only the power of

� Assembly Instructions
EVA Advanced Water Filtration System is easy to install, no tools required.
After it has been put together, carry out at least 2 filtration processes prior to
consuming water. Your EVA System is now ready to use.
� EVA filtration process - how long does it take?
Just as in nature, water is purified by the force of gravity, drop by drop, slowly and
naturally.
Depending on the hardness of your tap water, it usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour
to filter 1 litre of water.
Only 8 steps to turn tap water into spring water:
•
Step 1 - Ceramic filter: removes all the harmful and unnecessary substances such
as iron rust, sediment and germs thanks to its pore size of 0.2 of a micron.
•
Step 2 - Activated carbon: removes chlorine, THMs (trialomethane chemicals),
organic chemicals, nitrates and sulphates, unpleasant odours and colours.
•
Step 3 - Silver activated carbon (colloidal silver): removes chlorine, THMs, organic
chemicals, unpleasant odours and colours, and kills bacteria and parasites such
as salmonella and Escherichia Coli.
•
Step 4 - Silica sand: removes acidic components giving the water a better taste.
•
Step 5 – Zeolite is well-known in industrial chemistry as a filtration substrate
for dissolved chemical particles: removes heavy metals (lead, chlorine, copper,
aluminium and cadmium) and softens the water.
•
Step 6 - Mineral sand: assists the function of the activated carbon and maintains
the freshness of the water.
•
Step 7 - Coral stones: release minerals and oxygen, adjust the pH of water
to mild alkaline (which helps restore the pH balance of the body’s fluids), and
improve the taste of the water.
(Our coral is sustainably sourced from Indonesia and Australia under current
regulations).
•
Step 8 - Magnetic system: magnetized water has a free-moving hexagonal
water structure in harmony with the body’s fluids, just like mineral spring water.
It promotes health, vitality and imparts many therapeutic properties. Only the EVA
12L has a magnetic system in its tap. If you want to magnetize your water using
the 7L EVA, we recommend you purchase the BEP model with the infrared mineral
tray and added red clay magnet.

or spring water.

� Maintaining the EVA Advanced Water
Filtration System
Water quality varies considerably from place to place and even from
day to day in the same place. This in turn has an effect on the life of the
filtration system. In the UK & Europe it is recommended that you replace
your EVA Ultimate Filtration Cartridge every 9 months.
It is advisable to periodically rinse your ceramic thoroughly under cold
water, withoutseparating it from its tray.
If the following instructions are followed, the EVA Advanced Water
Filtration System should remain in optimal working order:
Please note that all mention of white vinegar means distilled,clear vinegar,
commonly available as a natural cleaning product (not white wine or
balsamic vinegar). Never substitute with lemon juice!
UÊ First, thoroughly wash your hands with soap or anti-bacterial
handwash.
UÊ Cleaning the ceramic in case of discolouration (In cases of pale
yellow, orange, light brown: It is normal for discolouration to appear
on the ceramic filter over time as impurities are removed from your
water (deposits of Calcium Carbonate or other undesirable substances).
To remove these impurities, mix filtered water with about 2 cups of
white vinegar, remove the top compartment containing the ceramic
filter and pour in the white vinegar mixture. Place the unit in your sink
(make sure the ceramic filter is completely covered by the liquid), then
leave until the water mixture has completely filtered. If ceramic is
tinged with green, filter through water with added salt (2 tablespoons
per litre of water).
Finally gently wipe the ceramic filter with a simple low abrasion
sponge, such as Scotch-Brite (or even with your hand) so as to remove
any lasting impurities. Finally rinse the unit under tap water thoroughly
until any smell or taste of white vinegar is gone.
UÊ This process can be repeated every month if necessary.
UÊ It is strongly recommended that you do not expose your EVA Advanced
Water Filtration System to direct sunlight. If the mineral tray is covered
with a thin green film, your Water Filtration System may be exposed
to too much natural light. If this is the case, you can either move
it to a shaded location or cover it with a cloth during the day.
To remove discolouration from the mineral tray:
Either: remove it from the filtration system and place it in a water solution
with 2 tablespoons of salt per litre of water. Leave for 30 minutes. After
that, scrub it thoroughly under the tap until all residue has disappeared.
Or: add 2 tablespoons of coarse sea salt to a pan filled with water, put
the tray in the pan and simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Rinse the tray
under running water while brushing it, until the residues are gone.
To clean the EVA tap, remove it and clean with the same water and white
vinegar solution used for the tray, ensuring removal of the transparent
seals beforehand to avoid damaging them.
To avoid any further proliferation of residues it is advisable to take this
opportunity to also clean the lower compartment.
If the EVA system has not been used for more than 8 days, the filtration
process will have ceased and you should follow these steps:
UÊ Remove and rinse the ceramic filter, filter cartridge and the mineral
tray, then leave to drain and dry.
U Rinse the main EVA unit with a mixture of filtered water and white
vinegar solution, then leave to dry.
When you want to start the filtration process again, just set up the water
filtration system and use as normal.
� Frequently asked questions:
The water takes longer to filter the first couple of times, is this normal?
Yes. It may be that filtration takes a long time, more than an hour per
litre and this reduces after a week. If slow filtration persists, it shows
that assembly and usage procedure has not been followed correctly,
preventable with these measures:
(a) Rinsing of the ceramic with clean water in order to rid the white
ceramic of any build-up, which could lead to the formation of surface
encrustation, obstructing the primary filter. (b) Correct immersion of the
Ultimate Filtration Cartridge, in order to push out the air and rinse the

system – a pocket of air could slow down the flow. If it seems this hasn’t
been done, rinse once again, taking care to immerse correctly until all
bubbles have dissipated.
Why is it that the water sometimes filters at a slower rate than the 45
minutes per litre stated in the booklet?
The rate given is an approximation: subject to the quality of origin of the
water being filtered by your EVA, the time taken will vary from 30 minutes
to 1 hour per litre maximum.
If there is a white chalky deposit in the bottom of the EVA Advanced
Water Filtration System, is this normal and is it lime scale? Is this related to
the filtered water leaving a chalky scale residue when used for cooking/
boiling?
Don’t worry. It is not calcium carbonate (lime scale) but minerals such as
natural silica originating from the mineral tray which induce the alkaline
level of the water (see scientific analysis, on page 18 of this leaflet). White
deposit may be visible during the 9 month life of the filter cartridge. These
undesirable residues are in fact harmless to the body and to electrical
appliances – coffee machines, electric kettles. (If you choose not to use the
mineral tray, this deposit will disappear, but you would miss out on all the
benefits of these minerals...). If a white film appears on the surface, in the
lower compartment, or if your mineral tray is covered with a green layer:
boil some water and add a spoonful of salt, then place the mineral tray in
it for 5 minutes. Then rinse it under clean water before putting it back into
the water filtration system.
Does EVA filter fluoride?
Yes, in the form of numerous chemical elements present in tap water:
fluoride is found in related forms (potassium fluoride, sodium fluoride etc)
i.e. fluoride alone doesn’t exist in a ‘free’ form in our tap water. (See
analysis table.)
What is the difference between fluoride and fluorine?
The fluoride atom has the international common denomination F, while
fluorine is the form linked to the fluoride atom with a second chemical
element e.g. calcium, potassium etc.
What percentage of nitrates should be filtered out?
The actual amount will vary depending on the water used. On average
between 60 and 90%.
Does it filter salt (sodium)? If so how much and why isn’t it in the Analysis?
The filter is not designed to filter brackish water e.g. containing sea salt
but rather the ‘chlorides’ dissolved in water in all their forms: calcium
chloride, sodium, magnesium etc, in acceptable proportions and in
accordance with European norms – note the chemical name Cl on the
analysis table.
Can hormones be filtered?
Unfortunately not. No current system available to the public would be
able to remove hormones, whose molecules are much too ‘fine’ to be
withheld.
The ceramic is discolouring very quickly, is this normal?
Yes! The ceramic is effectively a pre-filter, a waste unit retaining the
first impurities of the tap water. If it remained white it would indicate
2 eventualities: either the water contains no impurities, or the filter is
ineffective. On the contrary we have never found that the ceramic remains
immaculate. So, with time and despite its maintenance, the ceramic will
discolour.
There is green mould on mineral tray. Why is it there and how can it be
removed?
These green single-celled algae are undesirable but harmless, and are
naturally occurring in plumbing and the water supply. Once you set your
EVA filtration system running, it may be that after rinsing with fresh water,
you trigger the growth of the algae, originating from the mineral tray.
To remedy this, follow our product care guidance on pages 10-11(before
this FAQ section).

What exactly does the mineral tray put back into the water?
Essentially it raises mineral silica levels by more than 70%, along with
calcium, magnesium, iron oxide II and III.
How do the infared mineral trays with added clay magnet actually work?
In contact with water, the magnetic system creates an electric charge in
the water molecules, giving water resistivity and conductivity, in other
words the qualities of living water, or hexagonal water as it is also known.
Magnetisation, dynamisation, vitalisation, all these terms mean the same
thing in common parlance.
As for the FIR unit, this promotes diffusion of infra reds in the water,
reinforcing the magnetic effect thus maintaining dynamisation. Please
also read the information below on Stage 9.
Should the parts be cleaned separately from the unit or should they be
placed in the EVA unit filled with the cleaning solution?
It is advisable to leave filter parts in / attached to the EVA unit for cleaning
Please read our product cleaning guidance before FAQs.
Be careful! Only the ceramic needs to be overhauled once or twice a
month. It is sufficient to rinse out the lower tank whenever you replace
other component parts.
Can a ‘Milton Tablet’ or other sterilising tablet be used to clean the
Ceramic or other parts?
Such products serve to ‘disinfect’ but will not have an effect on the level
of minerals dissolved in the ceramic...vinegar is therefore more effective.
A more detailed explanation of ‘Step 8’ in the instructions (i.e. magnet
only in 12L unless the advanced tray is purchased).
Stage 8 : magnetic system (BEP models)
Magnetisation returns water to its hexagonal structure (
composed of six
individual molecules of water, held together by common hydrogen bonds), and
also
reduces the size of the water molecule clusters uniformally. This makes
them up to 50% more easily absorbed by the cells of the body. 2 magnets
(Neodyme – Nd2 Fe14B) activate the water’s molecular structure, as they
are wrapped around the distributor tap of PLC models – or in the BEP
model, a group of magnets are aligned in a circle in an opaque disc
visible through the side of the tray. In both cases your remagnetised water
returns to its hexagonal molecular structure, enlivened and in harmony
with bodily fluids. This restructured water offers your body numerous
health benefits and optimised rehydration after physical exertion.
Stage 9: Far Infrared Rays (FIR) in BEP models
By reducing the size of the water clusters, the FIR’s promote their absorption
and assimilation by body tissue, as well as making the water smoother to
drink. The presence of this unit reinforces the Neodyme magnet’s effect in
nullifying the negative effects of light on the filtered water. The FIR unit is
a ‘capturer’ of wavelength (corresponding to its green colour): it captures
and diffuses the Far Infrared Rays (FIR).
How do I know when to replace the parts?
Please note that different parts of the EVA system last for different periods
of time so it is recommended that you note the start date of usage of each
new and replacement part:
Replace the ceramic every 24 months max.
Replace filter cartridge every 9 months max.
Replace the mineral tray every 36 months max.
Advice to help avoid leaking taps by properly tightening them
For the 7L EVA model: the flat nut has a bulge on one side which is
compatible with the connecting joint. It is best to put this side against the
joint and to tighten it enough to make it watertight. Test the lower tank and
tap before full use: fill the lower tank with a few litres and test it above
the sink. For other models, simply tighten the tap just enough to ensure
watertightness.
If a water softener has been used water is not drinkable. Would the EVA
filter make softened water safe to drink?
Yes, and bear in mind that the EVA system will remineralise the water as
well as purifying it.
What is the difference between EVA and reverse osmosis filters?
EVA filters, purifies, remineralises and dynamises the water.
Osmosis may filter and purify, but demineralises.

Results of scientific analysis of water AFTER

� What is EVA μvoda?
EVA μvoda
helps your body detoxify and ght against acid (from mouth to stomach)
caused by everyday stress, food, pollution etc... These environmental disruptions
may aect your body’s functions and lead to unbalanced pH ratios.

The powerful minerals contained in small round ceramics within the sphere keep
their full properties, while the ceramic itself removes the harmful germs, which
means that the pH of the water is made alkaline while the anti-bacterial properties
purify it.
With the help of the ceramics, water molecules become smaller, making them more
easily absorbed by the cells. This is called the “hexagonal structure” of the water
(a unique water structure composed of six individual molecules of water, held
together by common hydrogen bonds).
� What is inside the mineral sphere?
The sphere contains 6 dierent mineral ceramics, each one having its own
properties:
•
Magnesium ceramic: gives an alkaline pH to the water (because of its
hydrogen source) and has some antioxidant proper ties.
•
Micro-silver ceramic: made from natural silver, this non-toxic technology
has ecient antibacterial & antifungal eects.
•
Black tourmaline ceramic: has purifying properties and is also well
known for its cleansing abilities.
•
Pi ceramic: revitalizes water, increases the permeability of the cell
membrane and then stimulates tissue exchanges. It maintains the dynamic of
the water when used with water from EVA Advanced Water Filtration System.
•
Red clay ceramic: is well known for its high concentration of trace
elements and makes the pH alkaline (it “softens” the water). It also
has powerful ltering properties (against heavy metals). Red clay is
often used to help sensitive and dry skins.

purifying the water and improving the taste.
� How to use EVA μvoda
EVA μvoda is easy to use, just follow these 3 steps:
•
Place the sphere inside the ask.
•
Pour in the water. We recommend using the water from EVA Advanced
Water Filtration System for better results, although you can use tap
water. The combination of dierent ceramics contained in the sphere
lters the water in the ask.
•
Wait for 1 minute if you use the water from EVA Advanced Filtration System,
or 5-10 minutes with tap water, then it is ready to drink !
You can add more water whenever you like, you do not need to wait until the ask
is empty as it is continuous process, thanks to the sphere.
PLEASE NOTE: a sulphur smell and taste will occur with the rst few uses of the
sphere (due to the oxidation-reduction process of the water). This disappears
after the third use of the sphere.
� How to maintain EVA μvoda
Depending on whether you use puried or tap water, the sphere will last between
8-12 months before it needs replacing. It is recommended that you replace your
sphere every 8 months if you use tap water and every 12 months if you use puried
water.
It is also advisable to periodically rinse both your ask and your sphere under cold
water.
The ask can be cleaned as often as required.

lasting.
The following instructions will help you keep your
EVA μvoda
in good working order:
•
First, thoroughly wash your hands with soap or anti-bacterial wash.
•
Every 15 days we recommend that you clean your sphere to remove all the
impurities it has gathered through purifying the water. To reactivate your
EVA
μvoda
sphere and restore all its properties, ll it with white vinegar diluted
half and half with water, to entirely cover the sphere. Then shake and leave
for 15 minutes or until no more bubbles are released. Then gently wipe the
sphere with a simple non abrasive sponge so as to remove any lasting
impurities. Finally rinse the sphere under tap water to remove any smell or
taste of vinegar.
•
The ask can be cleaned in the same way as normal glass, then left to dry.
