USB power source. Make sure the power source is turned on. The red power light will illuminate. This light will go off
automatically after a period of inactivity.
1. Check your phone’s input voltage specifications and whether it has wireless charging capabilities. (If not, you may
consider purchasing an adaptor.) There are many places on the web that can tell you which phones are QI wireless
charging compatible. Also, avoid phone cases that contain metal or magnets, or are more than 1/8” thick as it will interfere
with wireless charging. (Or remove the casewhile charging.)
2. Place the smart phone,with the glass screen up, directly over the charging area. ((( ))) It may take a second or two to
start charging. When charging connection is made, the indicator lightwill turn blueand the phone will indicate charging
status. If the connection is not made after a few seconds, you may need to move the phone to make sure the battery is
directly over the charging area.As long as the indicator light is blue, the phone should be in charging mode.
1. Please only use the cable provided with the
quality wireless charging adaptors if your phone is not wireless ready.
2. Do not place metal objects, magnets, magnetic stripe cards or hard drive based devices near the wireless charger. It
could result in data corruption.
3. Extreme Heat, cold, fire, water, or other extreme elements may damage the unit. Do not handle with wet hands.
4. Keep the item clean. Keep any debris or other items from entering the USB port.
5. Do not attempt to open or take apart this device. It will be damaged during that process.
6. Keep out of reach of children.
It is normal for the TEK214 to warm slightly while charging another device.
However, if it becomes hot, please discontinue use immediately. This could be a sign of a malfunction. (Bad cord, bad
adaptor, bad charger…etc.)
Make sure to only use quality cords, USB wall socket adaptors, wireless charging adaptors, or automobile adaptors.
