SHALLOW WOOFER SYSTEM

Our most popular size from the Shallow Woofer line is the
SWS-8” due to the fact that it is designed to replace the
BMW factory speakers that are located under the front
seats. They are the best solution for replacing BMW
subwoofers with hardly any modification required. Simply
remove the seats and replace the factory woofers with the
exact-fitting SWS-8 woofers to improve the sound quality
of your mobile audio.

Earthquake Sound also produces the SWS-8Xi that has a
2? voice coil which is the same impedance as the BMW
factory speakers.

In addition to BMW cars, the SWS series are used in many
other applications where subwoofers are needed and
space is limited, such as in car doors. Many car
manufacturers are now using woofers in small areas. To
improve your bass, simply replace the factory speakers
with SWS woofers.

Attaching foam insulation to the edges of your SWS 8 inch
driver is recommended before dropping it into the box. This
prevents any air leaks.

The standard box under the BMW seat fits Earthquake’s
SWS 8 inch shallow woofer easily and with hardly any
modification.

This is the box with the factory sub removed, ready for the
