LIMITED WARRANTY
This appliance is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service and when installed in accordance with factory recommendations.
The manufacturer's obligation under this warranty shall be to replace, at its option, any part deemed defective upon examination for a period of one year from date of installation, but not to exceed two years from date of shipment. Installation date must be established by return of warranty registration card or other means to the manufacturer’s satisfaction.
All equipment returned to factory will be at owner’s expense.
This warranty is void in the event of misuse, tampering, misapplication, or if incorrect voltage is applied.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties either expressed or implied and authorized by and the responsibility of Eagle Group.

IMPORTANT
• BEFORE PLACING THIS APPLIANCE IN OPERATION, CONTACT YOUR LOCAL GAS SUPPLIER AS TO WHAT INSTRUCTIONS ARE TO BE FOLLOWED IF YOU SMELL GAS. THE INSTRUCTIONS OBTAINED SHOULD BE POSTED IN A PROMINENT LOCATION.
• THIS HOT PLATE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A TECHNICIAN QUALIFIED AND CERTIFIED OR LICENSED TO INSTALL GAS-FIRED EQUIPMENT. INSTALLATION SHOULD COMPLY WITH ALL LOCAL CODES. A LICENSED TECHNICIAN MUST PERFORM THE INITIAL STARTUP AND ADJUSTMENT OF THIS APPLIANCE.
This hot plate is designed as a heavy duty appliance and is not intended for residential use.
This gas hot plate was designed for countertop operation only.
Installation must conform to the National Fuel Gas Code #ANSI Z223.1-1996, the National Gas Installation Code #CAN/CGA-B149.1,
or the Propane Installation Code #CAN/CGA-B149.2 as applicable and in accordance with local codes.
Operators of this appliance must be familiar with the appliance use, limitation, and restrictions.
Do not submerge hot plate or burners in water. If burners get wet, they must be thoroughly dried before use.
Hot plate must be operated with the supplied legs properly installed.
NOTE: Appliance must be installed under a ventilation hood.
• DO NOT USE THE HOT PLATE AS A STOOL OR LADDER!
• DO NOT STAND OR SIT ON THE HOT PLATE!
• EXPOSED SURFACES CAN BE HOT TO THE TOUCH AND MAY CAUSE BURNS.

GENERAL NOTES
• Gas connection to the hot plate must be performed by a technician certified or licensed to install gas-fired equipment.
• Installation of this gas-fired appliance must comply with applicable portions of NFPA 96 for ventilation.
• If legs are not in place, screw all legs into permanently fastened nuts on all corners and tighten by hand. Use leg adjustment to level the hot plate.
• Clearances: For use on noncombustible surface only: 6˝ sides, 6˝ rear
• All gas hot plates are supplied with a gas pressure regulator suitable for use with natural gas or LP gas as noted on the name plate. Check rear mounted plate to verify type of gas.
INSTALLATION
1) Connect hot plate to gas supply by pipe material that’s approved by local ordinance for gas piping.
2) Apply sealant to male threads only. Sealant must be resistant to the action of liquefied petroleum gases.
CAUTION: Do not use an open flame to check for leaks. Check all gas piping for leaks with a soap and water solution before operating unit.

LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
HOW TO LIGHT HOT PLATE:
1) Make sure that main burner knobs are turned to OFF position.
2) Remove control knobs.
3) Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove 4 screws holding control panel and remove front control panel. Wait 5 minutes to allow any accumulated gas to escape from the burner compartment.
4) Light pilot lights. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, adjust pilot flame as shown in figure 1.
5) Reinstall control knobs (see figure 2). Do not reinstall front control panel at this point.
6) Turn knobs counterclockwise to light main burners. Note: Left knob controls rear burner and right knob controls front burner.
7) Remove knobs and reinstall front control panel. Reinstall knobs.
NOTES:
• Do not let fans blow directly on unit.
• A sufficient supply of air should be allowed to enter the room to replace air removed by ventilation systems.
