Th e P-75 h as a uniq ue pow e r s upply th at runs at ove r 1/4MH z. It tak e s th e low grade s ingle voltage DC supply from th e ac adapte r and conve rts it to th e dual h igh voltage s re q uire d for true profe s s ional q uality audio re production. Th e ope rating fre q ue ncy is ove r 12 tim e s h igh e r th an th e top of th e audio band and it incorporate s supe r low nois e w ide band re gulators in its output s tage to give ultra low noise s upply rails .
Th e inte rnal P-75 pow e r s upply is totally se lf containe d and s tore s m any tim e s th e m axim um pos s ible e ne rgy re q uire m e nts of th e ph ono am plifie rs . Th is m e ans th at th e q uality or size of th e e xte rnal ac adaptor is irre le vant. Incre as ing th e capacity of th e e xte rnal s upply w ill m ak e no diffe re nce to th e quality of th e s ound.
Th e P-75 incorporate s th e unique curre nt am plifie r inve nte d by Dr Tom inari of Dynave ctor Sys te m s Ltd., Japan, calle d a Ph ono Enh ance r.
