1 Important Safety Precautions:
1. Preface:
Please read this comprehensive manual carefully to realize how to perform the functions of the display system and how to ensure your safety. If you have questions not mentioned in this manual, please feel free to consult local dealers or contact DynaScan directly for help. Our technical teams will be pleased to service you.
2. Safety Warnings:
2.1 General safety prescriptions
DANGER
z After you shut down the power, do not touch Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and their
components until the indicators of inverter, AC/DC converter and power extinguish completely.
z If you want to connect any electrical wires or check any components on the PCBs, turn
off the power of the system and unplug the power cord from the power outlet first.
z Do not arbitrarily disassemble and change the electric connecting dispositions, cords or
components inside the display system.
z Check that the operating voltage of the display system is identical with the voltage of
your local power supply.
z Ensure that the display system is grounded correctly. z After you shut down the power, do not move the display system if the rotating screen
does not come to a full stop.
z Do not allow anything falling into the drum screen chamber or the base. z Do not tilt the display system.
Unsuitable Installation Surroundings
WARNING
z Keep DynaScan Display System away from:
1. Direct sunlight
2. Erosive gases and liquids
3. Salty environments
4. Water
5. Metal chips and dust
6. Extremely Humidity
7. Flammable materials
8. A messy place
9. Unstable or soft grounds
10. The location where the ambient temperature is over 40 or under -20℃.

2 Operation Safety Precautions
Before turning on the power
DANGER
z Check that the display system is earthed correctly to avoid electric shock. z If the Neutral and Ground terminals of power cord are connected incorrectly, the
display system will short-circuit and probably go up in flames.
z Check that the operating voltage of the display system is identical with the voltage of
your local power supply.
WARNING
z If the 485 converter is not connected to the display system properly, the display system
might be shut down abnormally.
z Do not place anything heavy upon power cords or signal cables. z Ensure all the cable connectors and the power plugs are connected securely in place
before turning on the display system.
When the display is in operation
DANGER
z Do not disassemble any safety shields. z Prevent the display system from being tiled.
WARNING
z Do not unplug the display system while in use; otherwise, its components may be
damaged due to such sudden surge of electricity.
z Do not change default settings or try to adjust any devices inside the base under the
guidance of professional technicians or engineers.
z Do not move the display system while operating.

3 Maintenance Safety Precautions
Before doing maintenance work
DANGER
z Ensure that the power has been shut down, and move after the rotating screen has
come to a full stop.
z Ensure disconnecting the power cord from the power outlet first.
While doing maintenance work
WARNING
z Do not make any object fall into the drum screen chamber or base to prevent the
display system from breaking down during operation.
z Please do “not” use Toluene (Methyl Benzene), thinner, gasoline, or any acidic
dissolvent to clean the screen shield.
z Be careful not to scratch the screen shield surface. z Do not touch any components on the PCB. Hold the PCB by the edge to protect the
components on the PCB from being damaged by the electrostatic on the body through hands.
z z Do not change default settings or try to adjust any devices inside the base without
the guidance of professional technicians or engineers.

This User’s Manual is written in chapter to provide end users with step-by-step instructions for operating the LED Display System properly. The LED Display System will be completely installed by our service personnel before the
display system arrives in your side. Below is the brief outline of each chapter. You may refer to them and find the information you
need as you proceed to operate the LED Display System:
1. Product Introduction:
This chapter provides a general description about the LED Display System, such as its functions, related accessories, and specifications.
2. Hardware:
This chapter aims to tell you how to install fiber transmission and use the ISC.
3. Troubleshooting:
This chapter will help you to deal with user manageable problems in the course of using the LED Display System.
4. Maintenance Guide
This chapter will help you know how to maintain the LED Display System on a regular basis.

DANGER: The symbol is intended to alert the user that: If operating the
display system improperly, you might expose yourself or others to considerable danger.
WARNING: The symbol is intended to alert the user that: If you operate the
display system improperly, it may cause damage to the display system.
CAUTION: The symbol is intended to warn the user to be careful about
something when completing a task.

1 A Tour of the Display

1.1 At a Glance of the Display

Thank you for purchasing the DynaScan Display, a patented revolutionary 360-degree true-color LED Display and has acquired proprietary patents in USA, Japan, China and Taiwan. The display is designed as a multi-media display, whic h supports and synchronizes the video from TV, VCD, DVD, CCD cameras, camcorders, the Internet, etc., through the ISC Box.
The display is cylindrical display, an optimum medium for information broadcasting. It is able to work at all kinds of weather conditions from 40 to minus 20. The one of a kind and attractive drum shape display screen make it an absolute focus in public area. The 360 degrees display screen with three frames will easily draw the instant attentions of passersby from all sides achieving maximum broadcasting effects. People will not only give a glance at the broadcasting content and go any more. Instead the mesmeric picture created by the corporate effect of its true color, high brightness and far better resolution along with its 360 degrees broadcasting would definitely retain passersby’ eyes on the display screen.
These distinguish the display from a conventional one-way flat display panel. As for conventional flat display panels, viewers can merely view the broadcasting content in front of the display panel. As a result, DynaScan Display creates larger viewing area for audiences and increases the variety of broadcasting effectiveness and the sense of modernization to its surroundings due to its creative and revolutionary design.

Cost performance
It utilizes fewer LEDs, and consumes less operation power. Significant saving of maintenance cost due to this technology. The DynaScan shows incredibly greater performance at VGA, XGA, and level of HDTV.
Real pixel
Unlike conventional display which red, blue and green color elements are separated, the DynaScan's flying red green and blue LEDs are turned on right at the same spot to create an effective pixel which makes the image perfectly crispy.
Perfect pitch
Crisp and vivid images remain for any viewing distance and guarantee authentic video quality even for spectators close to the display.
Ultimate uniformity & true color
All flying LEDs are calibrated using proprietary correction technology to ensure color uniformity across the entire screen and display 16.7 million distinct true colors.

1.3 Connectable External Multimedia Devices

The DynaScan LED Display employs cutting-edge video transmission technology and hence presents its high compatibility. Linked to the ISC, the DynaScan LED display receives a variety of input signals such as TV signal and the signal from DVD, VCD, VHS & Beta VCRs, Video Cameras, Digital Cameras, Internet streams, satellite and cable TVs to render text, information, graphics animation, or relay live show and instant relay.
