CHARGING WARNINGS

WARNING: Failure to exercise caution while using this

product and comply with the following warnings could result

in product malfunction, electrical issues, excessive heat,

FIRE, and ultimately injury and property damage.

• Never leave the power supply, charger and battery unattended during use.

• Never attempt to charge dead, damaged or wet battery packs.

• Never attempt to charge a battery pack containing different types

of batteries.

• Never allow children under 14 years of age to charge battery packs.

• Never charge batteries in extremely hot or cold places or place in

direct sunlight.

• Never charge a battery if the cable has been pinched or shorted.

• Never connect the charger if the power cable has been pinched

or shorted.

• Never connect the charger to an automobile 12V battery while the vehicle is running.

• Never attempt to dismantle the charger or use a damaged charger.

• Never attach your charger to both an AC and a DC power source

at the same time.

• Never connect the input jack (DC input) to AC power.

• Always use only rechargeable batteries designed for use with this

type of charger.

• Always inspect the battery before charging.

• Always keep the battery away from any material that could be

affected by heat.

• Always monitor the charging area and have a ﬁre extinguisher available at all times.

• Always end the charging process if the battery becomes hot to the touch or starts to change form (swell) during the charge process.

• Always connect the charge cable to the charger ﬁrst, then connect the battery to avoid short circuit between the charge leads. Reverse the sequence when disconnecting.

• Always connect the positive red leads (+) and negative black leads (–) correctly.

• Always disconnect the battery after charging, and let the charger cool between charges.

• Always charge in a well-ventilated area.

• Always terminate all processes and contact Horizon Hobby if the

product malfunctions.

WARNING: Never leave charger unattended, exceed maximum charge rate, charge with non-approved batteries or charge batteries in the wrong mode. Failure to comply may result in excessive heat, ﬁre and serious injury.

Not doing so can result in excessive heat and other related product malfunctions, which can lead to user injury or property damage. GETTING STARTED

CAUTION: Never connect the AC and DC input cords to an active power source at the same time. This will void the warranty, cause product damage and possibly injure the user.

When Using an External DC Power Source:

1. Ensure the charger is powered OFF.

2. Connect the DC power cord to the charger DC Power Input Port (O).

3. Connect the DC alligator clips to the DC power source.

4. Power ON the charger with the Power Switch (M).

5. When the charger is powered ON, the Charge Current LEDs (A), the Red CC LED (B), Yellow CV LED (C) and Green DONE LED

(D) will blink 5 times with 5 beeps, then the Red 0.10A LED, Red CC LED, Yellow CV LED and Green DONE LED will glow solid

until battery charging begins.

NOTICE: Always connect cable polarities correctly. NOTICE: Always consult 12V battery collateral materials or Horizon

Hobby before using with sources other than a standard AC wall outlet.

When Using an External AC Power Source:

1. Ensure the charger is powered OFF.

2. Connect the AC power cord to the charger AC Power Input Port (N).

3. Connect the AC power cord to the AC power source.

4. Power ON the charger with the Power Switch (M).

5. When the charger is powered ON, the Charge Current LEDs (A), the Red CC LED (B), Yellow CV LED (C) and Green DONE LED

(D) will blink 5 times with 5 beeps, then the Red 0.10A LED, Red CC LED, Yellow CV LED and Green DONE LED will glow solid

until battery charging begins.

CAUTION: Always power ON the charger before connecting a battery, or damage to the charger and the battery can result.

1. Connect the charger to the power source.

2. Power ON the charger.

3. Select the charging settings.

4. Connect the battery to the charger.

5. Start battery charging.

NI-MH BATTERY CHARGING

1. Press the Start/Stop Button (I) until the NiMH LED (F) glows.

2. Press the Current Select Button (H) to cycle through the charge current values until the correct Charge Current LED (A) glows for the battery.

3. Connect the battery to the charger using the appropriate battery adapter cable.

4. Press and hold the Start/Stop Button for 3 seconds. The charger will beep once and the Red CC LED (B), Yellow CV LED (C) and Green DONE LED (D) will turn off and the charge cycle will begin.

5. Press the Start/Stop Button at any time to stop charging.

6. The Red CC LED will blink every 2 seconds.

7. When charging is complete, the Red CC LED and Yellow CV LED will glow solid and the Green DONE LED will blink 5 times with 5 beeps, then glow solid.

8. Disconnect the battery from the charger.

LI-PO BATTERY FAST CHARGING

If you intend to use your battery for casual sport use rather than racing, you may want to select Li-Po Fast charging. Fast charging does not balance the individual cells of the battery as precisely as normal charging, but the charge cycle is completed faster. This MAY lower the performance or speed of your vehicle slightly, but it is likely you will not notice this in normal operation.

1. Press the Start/Stop Button (I) until the LiPo Fast LED (G) glows.

2. Press the Current Select Button (H) to cycle through the charge current values until the correct Charge Current LED (A) glows for the battery.

3. Connect the balance circuit adapter board to the Balance Circuit Adapter Board Connector (L).

4. Connect the battery to the charger using the appropriate battery adapter cable, then connect the balance connector of the battery to the proper balance connector port on the adapter board.

5. Press and hold the Start/Stop Button for 3 seconds. The charger will beep once and the Red CC LED (B), Yellow CV LED (C) and Green DONE LED (D) will turn off, beginning the charge cycle.

6. Press the Start/Stop Button at any time to stop charging.

7. The Red CC LED will blink every 2 seconds.

8. When the battery is charged to approximately 90%, the Red CC LED will glow solid and the Yellow CV LED will blink every 2 seconds. If 90% capacity is acceptable, press the Start/Stop Button to end the charge cycle and disconnect the battery.

9. When charging is complete, the Red CC LED and Yellow CV LED will glow solid and the Green DONE LED will blink 5 times with 5 beeps, then glow solid.

10. Disconnect the battery from the charger.

LI-PO BATTERY CHARGING

1. Press the Start/Stop Button (I) until the LiPo LED (E) glows.

2. Press the Current Select Button (H) to cycle through the charge current values until the correct Charge Current LED (A) glows for the battery.

3. Connect the balance circuit adapter board to the Balance Circuit Adapter Board Connector (L).

4. Connect the battery to the charger using the appropriate battery adapter cable. Then connect the balance connector of the battery to the proper balance connector port on the adapter board.

5. Press and hold the Start/Stop Button for 3 seconds. The charger will beep once and the Red CC LED (B), Yellow CV LED (C) and Green DONE LED (D) will turn off and the charge cycle will begin.

6. Press the Start/Stop Button at any time to stop charging.

7. The Red CC LED will blink every 2 seconds.

9. When charging is complete, the Red CC LED and Yellow CV LED will glow solid and the Green DONE LED will blink 5 times with 5 beeps, then glow solid.

10. Disconnect the battery from the charger.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

When an error occurs, all 18 LEDs will blink 10 times with 10 beeps. Once the alert has sounded 10 times, 2 Charge Current LEDs (A) will glow solid, indicating the error condition. Once the error condition has been resolved, press the Start/Stop Button (I) to reset the charger.

ERROR CONDITIONS PROBLEM

0.10/0.25 DC input voltage is below 11V

0.10/0.50 DC input voltage is higher than 18V

0.10/0.75 Battery failure—one or more Li-Po cell voltages is too high

0.10/1.00 Battery failure—one or more Li-Po cell voltages is too low

0.10/1.50 Battery failure—cannot charge battery at selected charge current

0.10/2.00 No battery detected—charging stopped

0.10/2.50 Incorrect battery type selected—charging stopped

0.10/3.00 Charging time exceeds the 2-hour safe charging time limit—charging stopped

0.10/3.50 Battery failure—over-current limit exceeded

0.10/4.00 Charger failure—over-temperature limit exceeded

0.10/5.00 Battery failure—voltages of power terminals and balance port do not match

CAUTION: Before charging, always ensure you have chosen the correct battery chemistry type for the battery you are charging.

SCHNELLLADEN VON LI-PO AKKUS

Sollten Sie Ihre Akkus für den normalen Sporteinsatz gebrauchen und nicht für Rennen können Sie auch die Schnellladefunktion wählen. Mit dieser Funktion werden die Zellen nicht so präzise angeglichen (balanciert) wie bei der normalen Ladung, sie ist aber schneller. Die Leistung/Geschwindigkeit des Fahrzeuges könnte dadurch geringer ausfallen, es ist aber sehr wahrscheinlich, dass Sie das im normalen Betrieb nicht wahrnehmen.

1. Drücken Sie den Start/Stop Button (I) bis die LiPo Fast (G) leuchtet.

2. Drücken Sie Current Select Ladestromauswahl (H) Button um durch die Ladestromwerte zu blättern bis die richtige Ladestrom-LED (A) für das zu ladende Akku leuchtet.

3. Schließen Sie den Balanceradapter am Balancerboard (L) an.

4. Schließen Sie den Akku mit dem richtigen Ladekabel am Ladegerät an. Schließen Sie dann den Balancerstecker am Balancerboard an.

5. Halten Sie den Start/Stop Button für drei Sekunden gedrückt . Das Ladegerät piept einmal und die rote CC LED (B), die gelbe CV LED (C) und die grüne Fertig LED (D) gehen aus und der Ladevorgang beginnt.

6. Drücken Sie den Start/Stop Button um den Ladevorgang jederzeit zu beenden.

7. Die rote CC LED blinkt alle 2 Sekunden.

8. Ist der Akku zu 90% geladen leuchtet die rote CC-LED und die gelbe CV LED blinkt alle 2 Sekunden. Sollten 90% Kapazität für Sie akzeptabel sein drücken Sie den Start/Stop Button um den Ladevorgang zu stoppen und trennen den Akku vom Ladegerät.

9. Ist der Ladevorgang durchgeführt leuchten die rote CC LED und die gelbe CV LED. Die grüne Fertig LED blinkt 5 Mal mit 5 Pieptönen und leuchtet dann.

10. Trennen Sie den Akku vom Ladegerät.

LADEN VON LI-PO AKKUS

1. Drücken Sie den Start/Stop Button (I) bis die LiPo LED (E) leuchtet.

2. Drücken Sie Current Select Ladestromauswahl (H) Button um durch die Ladestromwerte zu blättern bis die richtige Ladestrom-LED (A) für das zu ladende Akku leuchtet.

3. Schließen Sie den Balanceradapter am Balancerboard (L) an.

4. Schließen Sie den Akku mit dem richtigen Ladekabel am Ladegerät an. Schließen Sie dann den Balancerstecker am Balancerboard an.

6. Drücken Sie den Start/Stop Button um den Ladevorgang jederzeit zu beenden.

7. Die rote CC LED blinkt alle 2 Sekunden.

8. Ist der Akku zu 90% geladen leuchtet die rote CC-LED und die gelbe CV LED blinkt alle 2 Sekunden. Sollten 90% Kapazität für Sie akzeptabel sein drücken Sie den Start/Stop Button (E) um den Ladevorgang zu stoppen und trennen den Akku vom Ladegerät.

9. Ist der Ladevorgang durchgeführt leuchten die rote CC LED und die gelbe CV LED. Die grüne Fertig LED blinkt 5 Mal mit 5 Pieptönen und leuchtet dann.

10. Trennen Sie den Akku vom Ladegerät.

PROBLEMLÖSUNG

Tritt ein Fehler auf blinken alle 18 LEDs 10 mal mit 10 Pieptönen. Ist die Fehlermeldung 10 mal ertönt, leuchten 2 Ladestrom LEDs (A) die den Fehler anzeigen. Haben Sie die Fehlerursache beseitigt, drücken Sie den Start/Stop Button (I) um das Ladegerät zu resetten.

FEHLEMELDUNG PROBLEM

0.10/0.25 DC Eingangsspannung ist unter 11V

0.10/0.50 DC Eingangsspannung ist höher als 18 Volt

0.10/0.75 Akkufehler—eine oder mehrere LiPo Zellspannung(en) ist/sind zu hoch.

0.10/1.00 Akkufehler—eine oder mehrere LiPo Zellspannung(en) ist/sind zu niedrig

0.10/1.50 Akkufehler—kann nicht mit gewünschtem Ladestrom geladen werden.

0.10/2.00 Akku nicht angeschlossen/erkannt—kann nicht geladen werden. Laden gestoppt.

0.10/2.50 Falscher Akkutyp gewählt—Laden gestoppt

0.10/3.00 Ladezeit überschreitet das 2 Stunden Sicherheits Zeit Limit—Laden gestoppt.

0.10/3.50 Akkufehler—Stromlimit überschritten

0.10/4.00 Ladegerätfehler—Temperaturlimit überschritten

0.10/5.00 Akkufehler—Spannung von Balancer und Ladeanschluss stimmen nicht überein.

FÜR DEN START

ACHTUNG: Schließen Sie niemals die AC und DC Stromversorgung gleichzeitig an eine Stromquelle an. Dieses läßt die Garantie erlöschen, beschädigt das Produkt und verletzt möglicherweise den Benutzer.

Bei Verwendung einer externen DC Stromversorgung:

1. Stellen Sie sicher dass das Ladegerät ausgeschaltet (OFF) ist.

2. Schließen Sie den DC Stecker an den DC Stromeingang (O) an.

3. Schließen Sie die DC Krokokdilklemmen an die DC Stromquelle an.

4. Schalten Sie das Ladegerät mit dem Ein/Aus Schalter (M) ein.

5. Wird das Ladegerät eingeschaltet blinken die Ladestrom LED´s

(A), die rote CC LED (B), die gelbe CV LED (C) und die grüne Fertig LED (D) 5 mal mit 5 Pieptönen. Danach leuchten die rote 0,10A LED, die rote CC LED, die gelbe CV LED und die grüne

Fertig LED bis der Ladevorgang beginnt. HINWEIS: Schließen Sie die Kabel immer polrichtig an. HINWEIS: Lesen Sie immer die Anleitung eines 12 Volt Akkus oder

Batterie oder kontaktieren Horizon Hobby wenn Sie etwas anderes nutzen wollen als ein Standard 12 Volt Netzgerät.

Bei Verwendung einer externen AC Stromquelle:

1. Stellen Sie sicher dass das Ladegerät ausgeschaltet (OFF) ist.

2. Schließen Sie den AC Netzstecker an der AC Netzbuchse des Ladegerätes (O) an.

3. Schließen Sie den Stecker am AC Netzstrom an.

4. Schalten Sie das Ladegerät mit dem Ein/Aus Schalter (M) ein.

5. Wird das Ladegerät eingeschaltet blinken die Ladestrom LED´s

(A), die rote CC LED (B), die gelbe CV LED (C) und die grüne Fertig LED (D) 5 mal mit 5 Pieptönen. Danach leuchten die rote 0,10A LED, die rote CC LED, die gelbe CV LED und die grüne Fertig LED bis der Ladevorgang beginnt.

ACHTUNG Schalten Sie immer erst das Ladegerät ein bevor

Sie ein Akku anschließen, da sonst das Ladegerät oder Akku beschädigt werden kann.

1. Schließen Sie das Ladegerät an eine Stromquelle an.

2. Schalten Sie das Ladegerät ein.

3. Wählen Sie die Ladegeräteinstellungen.

4. Schließen Sie den Akku an das Ladegerät an.

5. Starten Sie den Ladevorgang.

LADEN VON NI-MH AKKUS

1. Drücken Sie den Start/Stop Button (I) bis die NiMH LED (F) leuchtet.

2. Drücken Sie Current Select Ladestromauswahl (H) Button um durch die Ladestromwerte zu blättern bis die richtige Ladestrom-LED (A) für das zu ladende Akku leuchtet.

3. Schließen Sie den Akku mit dem richtigen Ladekabel am Ladegerät an.

4. Halten Sie den Start/Stop Button für drei Sekunden gedrückt . Das Ladegerät piept einmal und die rote CC LED (B), die gelbe CV LED (C) und die grüne Fertig LED (D) gehen aus und der Ladevorgang beginnt.

5. Drücken Sie den Start/Stop Button um den Ladevorgang jederzeit zu beenden.

6. Die rote CC LED blinkt alle 2 Sekunden.

7. Ist der Ladevorgang beendet leuchten die rote CC LED und gelbe CV LED. Die grüne Fertig LED blinkt 5 Mal mit 5 Pieptönen und leuchtet dann.

8. Trennen Sie den Akku vom Ladegerät.

ACHTUNG: Stellen Sie vor dem Laden sicher, dass Sie den korrekten Akkutyp gewählt für den zu ladenden Akku gewählt haben.

• Beobachten Sie immer den Ladevorgang und halten einen Feuerlöscher zu jeder Zeit bereit.

• Beenden Sie sofort den Ladevorgang wenn der Akku zu heiß zum Anfassen werden sollte, oder seine Form (anschwellen) verändert.

• Schließen Sie erst das Ladekabel am Ladegerät an und dann den Akku, um ein verpolen der Anschlüsse zu vermeiden. Trennen Sie die Verbindung nach dem Laden in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.

• Schließen Sie immer die positiven roten (+) Anschlüsse und negativen schwarzen (–) Anschlüsse korrekt an.

• Trennen Sie nach dem Laden den Akku vom Ladegerät und lassen das Ladegerät zwischen den Ladevorgängen abkühlen.

• Laden Sie immer in gut belüfteten Bereichen.

• Beenden Sie bei Fehlfunktionen sofort alle Prozesse und

kontaktieren Horizon Hobby.

POUR DÉMARRER

ATTENTION: Ne jamais brancher les câbles d’alimentation CA et CC simultanément à une source d’alimentation active. Ceci aura pour conséquence d’invalider la garantie, peut endommager le produit et comporte des risques potentiels de blessures de l’utilisateur.

En cas d’utilisation d’une source d’alimentation CC en entrée externe:

1. Contrôlez que le chargeur est hors tension

2. Connectez le cordon DC à l’entrée DC du chargeur (O).

3. Connectez les pinces crocodile du cordon DC à votre source DC.

4. Mettez le chargeur sous tension en utilisant l’interrupteur d’alimentation (M).

5. Lors de la mise sous tension du chargeur, les DELs d’intensité de

charge (A), la DEL rouge CC (B), la DEL jaune VC (C) et la DEL de charge terminée verte (D) vont clignoter 5 fois accompagnées de 5 bips. Puis la DEL rouge 0.1A, la DEL rouge CC, la DEL jaune VC et la DEL de charge terminée verte resteront allumées

jusqu’au départ de la charge.

REMARQUE: Toujours respecter les polarités en connectant le câble. REMARQUE: Toujours consulter les caractéristiques de la batterie

12V ou Horizon Hobby avant d’utiliser d’autres sources que l’alimentation AC standard.

Quand vous utilisez une source AC externe:

1. Contrôlez que le chargeur est hors tension.

2. Connectez le cordon AC à l’entrée AC du chargeur (O).

3. Connectez le cordon d’alimentation AC à la source AC.

4. Mettez le chargeur sous tension en utilisant l’interrupteur d’alimentation (M).

5. Lors de la mise sous tension du chargeur, les DELs d’intensité de charge (A), la DEL rouge CC (B), la DEL jaune VC (C) et la DEL de charge terminée verte (D) vont clignoter 5 fois accompagnées de 5 bips. Puis la DEL rouge 0.1A, la DEL rouge CC, la DEL jaune VC et la DEL de charge terminée verte resteront allumées jusqu’au départ de la charge.

CHARGE NI-MH

1. Pressez le bouton Démarrage/Arrêt (I) jusqu’à l’illumination des DELs Ni-MH (F).

2. Appuyez sur le bouton de sélection de l’intensité de charge (H) pour balayer les intensités de charge, jusqu’à l’allumage de la DEL d’intensité de charge (A) correspondante à votre batterie.

3. Connectez la batterie au chargeur en utilisant l’adaptateur approprié.

4. Pressez et maintenez durant 3 secondes le bouton Démarrage/ Arrêt. Le chargeur va émettre 1 bip et la DEL rouge CC (B) ainsi que la DEL jaune VC (C) et la DEL verte (D) vont s’éteindre et le cycle de charge va débuter.

5. Pressez le bouton Démarrage/Arrêt à n’importe quel moment pour stopper la charge.

6. La DEL rouge CC va clignoter toutes les 2 secondes.

7. Quand la charge est terminée, la DEL rouge CC ainsi que la DEL jaune VC s’illuminent ﬁxement et la DEL verte va clignoter 5 fois

accompagnée de 5 bips puis s’illuminer ﬁxement.

8. Déconnectez la batterie du chargeur.

CHARGE RAPIDE LI-PO

Si vous avez l’intention d’utiliser votre batterie en loisir occasionnel plus que pour de la compétition, vous pouvez effectuer une charge rapide Li-Po. Le processus de charge rapide permet une charge rapide des batteries, mais les éléments ne sont pas équilibrés aussi précisément que lors d’un processus de charge normal. Cela peut réduire légèrement les performances de votre véhicule, mais il est probable que vous ne le remarquerez pas en cas d’utilisation normale.

1. Pressez le bouton Démarrage/Arrêt (I) jusqu’à l’illumination de la DEL Li-Po charge rapide (G).

3. Connectez la platine d’équilibrage au port pour platine d’équilibrage (L).

4. Connectez la batterie au chargeur en utilisant les câbles appropriés. Puis connectez la prise d’équilibrage de la batterie dans le port d’équilibrage approprié de la platine.

5. Pressez et maintenez durant 3 secondes le bouton Démarrage/ Arrêt. Le chargeur va émettre 1 bip et la DEL rouge CC (B) ainsi que la DEL jaune VC (C) et la DEL verte (D) vont s’éteindre et le cycle de charge va débuter.

6. Pressez le bouton Démarrage/Arrêt à n’importe quel moment pour stopper la charge.

7. La DEL rouge CC va clignoter toutes les 2 secondes.

8. Quand la batterie est chargée à environ 90%, la DEL rouge CC va s’illuminer ﬁxement et la DEL jaune VC va se mettre à clignoter toutes les 2 secondes. Si une charge à 90% vous satisfait, pressez le bouton Démarrage/Arrêt pour stopper la charge et déconnectez la batterie.

9. Quand la charge est terminée, la DEL rouge CC et la DEL jaune VC vont s’illuminer ﬁxement et la DEL verte va clignoter 5 fois accompagné de 5 bips, puis s’illuminer ﬁxement.

10. Déconnectez la batterie du chargeur.

GUIDE DE DÉPANNAGE

Quand une erreur se produit, les 18 DELs vont clignoter 10 fois accompagnées de 10 bips. Une fois la séquence d’alerte terminée 2 des DELs d’intensité de la charge (A) vont s’illuminer ﬁxement pour indiquer la nature de l’erreur. Une fois que l’erreur est corrigée, pressez le bouton Démarrage/Arrêt (I) pour réinitialiser le chargeur.

MODE D’EMPLOI DE VOTRE CHARGEUR

ATTENTION: Avant de commencer la charge, veuillez toujours contrôler que le type de batterie sélectionné correspond à la batterie que vous souhaitez charger.

AVERTISSEMENTS RELATIFS À LA CHARGE

AVERTISSEMENT: Une erreur d’attention ou un non respect des consignes durant l’utilisation de ce produit peut entraîner un dysfonctionnement, une surchauffe, un INCENDIE et dans dans le pire des cas, des blessures et des dégâts matériels.

• Ne laissez jamais la batterie et le chargeur sans surveillance durant l’utilisation.

• Ne tentez pas de charger des batteries endommagées ou humides.

• Ne chargez jamais une batterie contenant différents types

d’éléments.

• Ne laissez jamais un enfant de moins de 14 ans utiliser seul le chargeur.

• Ne chargez pas les batteries dans des lieux aux températures extrêmes ou en plein soleil.

• Ne chargez pas une batterie dont les câbles sont endommagés.

• Ne branchez pas le chargeur si son câble d’alimentation est

endommagé.

• Ne connectez jamais le chargeur à une batterie 12V quand le véhicule est en marche.

• Ne tentez jamais de démonter ou d’utiliser un chargeur endommagé.

• Ne jamais brancher le chargeur simultanément sur une alimentation AC et DC.

• Ne jamais relier les prises d’alimentation DC à une alimentation AC.

• Toujours utiliser des batteries rechargeables conçues pour ce type de chargeur.

• Toujours contrôler l’état de la batterie avant de la charger.

• Toujours tenir la batterie éloignée de tout matériau pouvant être

affecté par la chaleur.

• Surveiller la zone de charge en permanence et toujours avoir un extincteur à portée de main.

• Toujours arrêter la charge si le chargeur ou la batterie deviennent très chauds ou que la batterie commence à se déformer.

• Toujours commencer par connecter les câbles de charge au chargeur, puis à la batterie pour éviter tout court-circuit entre les câbles de charge. Lors du débranchement, procédez dans l’ordre inverse.

• Respectez toujours les polarités: rouge (+) et noir (–).

• Toujours débrancher la batterie et le chargeur après la charge et

les laisser refroidir.

• Toujours charger les batteries dans un endroit bien aéré/ventilé.

• Toujours terminer les processus et contactez le service Technique

Horizon Hobby si le produit fait objet de dysfonctionnements.

AVERTISSEMENT: Ne laissez jamais le chargeur sans surveillance, ne dépassez jamais la capacité de charge maximale, ne chargez jamais des batteries non conçue pour ce chargeur. Un non respect de cette consigne peu entraîner une surchauffe, un incendie avec risque de blessures corporelles.

ATTENTION: Toujours vériﬁer que les caractéristiques de la batterie correspondent au chargeur. Un non respect de cette consigne peut entraîner une surchauffe ou un dysfonctionnement du produit pouvant entraîner des dégâts matériels ou des blessures corporelles. CHARGE LI-PO

1. Pressez le bouton Démarrage/Arrêt (I) jusqu’à l’illumination des DELs Li-Po (E).

3. Connectez la platine d’équilibrage au port pour platine d’équilibrage (L).

4. Connectez la batterie au chargeur en utilisant les câbles appropriés. Puis connectez la prise d’équilibrage de la batterie dans le port d’équilibrage approprié de la platine.

6. Pressez le bouton Démarrage/Arrêt à n’importe quel moment pour stopper la charge.

7. La DEL rouge CC va clignoter toutes les 2 secondes.

COME INIZIARE

ATTENZIONE: Non collegare mai nello stesso tempo l’alimentatore e i cavi di ingresso a c.c. a una sorgente di alimentazione attiva. Questo annulla la garanzia, danneggia il prodotto e potrebbe provocare lesioni all’utilizzatore.

Quando si utilizza una sorgente esterna a c.c.:

1. Accertarsi che il caricatore sia spento.

2. Collegare il cavo di alimentazione DC all’apposita presa sul caricabatterie (O).

3. Collegare le pinze (coccodrillo) all’alimentatore DC.

4. Accendere il caricatore con il suo interruttore (M).

5. Quando il caricatore viene acceso, i LED indicatori di Corrente di Carica (A), Rosso CC (B), Verde FATTO (D), lampeggiano per 5 volte con 5 beep; poi i LED Rosso 0,10A, Rosso CC, Giallo

CV e Verde FATTO si accendono ﬁssi ﬁno all’inizio della carica.

AVVISO: Collegare i cavi rispettando le polarità. AVVISO: Informarsi sempre prima di usare le batterie a 12V o altri

alimentatori diversi dallo standard AC.

Quando si usa l’alimentatore AC esterno:

1. Accertarsi che il caricatore sia spento.

2. Collegare il cavo di alimentazione AC all’apposita presa sul caricabatterie (O).

3. Collegare l’altro capo del cavo alla presa AC.

4. Accendere il caricatore con il suo interruttore (M).

5. Quando il caricatore viene acceso, i LED indicatori di Corrente di Carica (A), Rosso CC (B), Verde FATTO (D), lampeggiano per 5 volte con 5 beep; poi i LED Rosso 0,10A, Rosso CC, Giallo

CV e Verde FATTO si accendono ﬁssi ﬁno all’inizio della carica.

ATTENZIONE: accendere sempre il caricabatterie prima di

collegare la batteria, altrimenti si potrebbero danneggiare entrambi.

1. Collegare il caricabatterie all’alimentatore.

2. Accendere il caricatore.

3. Scegliere le impostazioni per la carica.

4. Collegare la batteria al caricatore.

5. Iniziare la carica della batteria.

CARICA DELLE BATTERIE NI-MH

1. Premere il tasto Avvio/Arresto (I) ﬁnché il LED NiMH (F) non si accende.

2. Premere il tasto per la Scelta della corrente (H) per passare attraverso i vari valori di carica ﬁnché il LED indicatore di Carica (A) si accende con la corrente adatta alla batteria collegata.

3. Collegare la batteria al caricatore usando il cavo adatto.

4. Mantenere premuto per 3 secondi il tasto Avvio/Arresto. Il caricatore emetterà un beep e i LED rosso CC (B), giallo CV (C) e verde FATTO (D) si spegneranno e inizierà il ciclo di carica.

5. Premere il tasto Avvio/Arresto in qualsiasi momento per fermare la carica.

6. Il LED rosso CC lampeggia ogni 2 secondi.

7. Quando la carica è terminata, il LED rosso CC e quello giallo CV diventano ﬁssi mentre quello verde FATTO lampeggia per 5 volte con 5 beep, poi resta ﬁsso.

8. Scollegare la batteria dal caricatore.

CARICA RAPIDA DELLE BATTERIE LI-PO

Se si ha intenzione di usare le batterie per sport e non per competizioni, si potrebbe scegliere l’opzione LiPo Fast (carica rapida). Questo tipo di carica non bilancia le singole celle così precisamente come la carica normale, ma il ciclo di carica viene completato in modo più rapido. Questo potrebbe diminuire leggermente le prestazioni o la velocità del vostro veicolo, ma probabilmente questo non si nota nell’uso normale.

1. Premere il tasto Avvio/Arresto (I) ﬁnché il LED LiPo Fast (G) non si accende.

2. Premere il tasto per la Scelta della corrente (H) per passare attraverso i vari valori di carica ﬁnché il LED indicatore di Carica (A) si accende con la corrente adatta alla batteria collegata.

3. Collegare l’adattatore per il bilanciamento all’apposito connettore (L).

4. Collegare la batteria al caricatore usando il cavo adatto. Poi collegare il connettore per il bilanciamento sull’adattatore.

5. Mantenere premuto per 3 secondi il tasto Avvio/Arresto. Il caricatore emetterà un beep e i LED rosso CC (B), giallo CV (C) e verde FATTO (D) si spegneranno e inizierà il ciclo di carica.

6. Premere il tasto Avvio/Arresto in qualsiasi momento per fermare la carica.

7. Il LED rosso CC lampeggia ogni 2 secondi.

8. Quando la batteria è carica per circa il 90% il LED rosso CC diventa ﬁsso e quello giallo CV lampeggia ogni 2 secondi. Se sta bene una carica al 90%, allora si può premere il tasto Avvio/Arresto per fermare la carica e poi scollegare la batteria.

9. Quando la carica è terminata, il LED rosso CC e quello giallo CV diventano ﬁssi mentre quello verde FATTO lampeggia per 5 volte con 5 beep, poi resta ﬁsso.

10. Scollegare la batteria dal caricatore.

CARICA DELLE BATTERIE LI-PO

1. Premere il tasto Avvio/Arresto (I) ﬁnché il LED LiPo (E) non si accende.

2. Premere il tasto per la Scelta della corrente (H) per passare attraverso i vari valori di carica ﬁnché il LED indicatore di Carica (A) si accende con la corrente adatta alla batteria collegata.

3. Collegare l’adattatore per il bilanciamento all’apposito connettore (L).

4. Collegare la batteria al caricatore usando il cavo adatto. Poi collegare il connettore per il bilanciamento sull’adattatore.

5. Mantenere premuto per 3 secondi il tasto Avvio/Arresto. Il caricatore emetterà un beep e i LED rosso CC (B), giallo CV (C) e verde FATTO (D) si spegneranno e inizierà il ciclo di carica.

6. Premere il tasto Avvio/Arresto in qualsiasi momento per fermare la carica.

7. Il LED rosso CC lampeggia ogni 2 secondi.

8. Quando la batteria è carica per circa il 90% il LED rosso CC diventa ﬁsso e quello giallo CV lampeggia ogni 2 secondi. Se sta bene una carica al 90%, allora si può premere il tasto Avvio/ Arresto per fermare la carica e poi scollegare la batteria.

9. Quando la carica è terminata, il LED rosso CC e quello giallo CV diventano ﬁssi mentre quello verde FATTO lampeggia per 5 volte con 5 beep, poi resta ﬁsso.

10. Scollegare la batteria dal caricatore.

GUIDA ALLA SOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI

Quando si veriﬁca un errore, tutti i 18 LED lampeggiano 10 volte con 10 beep. Terminato l’allarme, 2 LED indicatori della Corrente di carica (A) si accendono ﬁssi indicando la condizione di errore. Risolta la condizione di errore, premere il tasto Avvio/Arresto (I) per

azzerare il caricatore.

FUNZIONAMENTO DEL CARICABATTERIE

ATTENZIONE: prima di caricare, accertarsi di aver scelto il giusto tipo di batteria.

AVVERTIMENTI PER LA CARICA

AVVERTENZA: Se non si utilizza questo prodotto con attenzione e non si osservano le seguenti avvertenze potrebbero veriﬁcarsi malfunzionamenti del prodotto, problemi elettrici, eccessivo sviluppo di calore, incendi e in deﬁnitiva lesioni e danni materiali.

• Non lasciare mai l’alimentatore, il caricabatterie e la batteria incustoditi durante l’uso.

• Non tentare mai di caricare batterie fuori uso, danneggiate o bagnate.

• Non tentare di caricare un pacco batteria con batterie di tipo diverso.

• Non consentire ai minori di caricare i pacchi batteria.

• Non caricare mai le batterie in luoghi estremamente caldi o freddi

o esposti alla luce diretta del sole.

• Non caricare mai una batteria se il cavo è schiacciato o in cortocircuito.

• Non collegare mai il caricabatterie se il cavo di alimentazione è schiacciato o in cortocircuito.

• Non collegare mai il caricabatterie a una batteria di automobile da 12 V, mentre il veicolo è in movimento.

• Non tentare mai di smontare il caricabatterie o di utilizzare un caricabatterie danneggiato.

• Non collegare mai il caricabatterie ad una fonte di alimentazione a C.A. e C.C. allo stesso tempo.

• Non collegare mai la presa di ingresso (ingresso C.C.) alla corrente alternata.

• Utilizzare sempre batterie ricaricabili progettate per l’utilizzo con questo tipo di caricabatterie.

• Controllare sempre la batteria prima di caricarla.

• Tenere sempre la batteria lontana da qualsiasi materiale che

possa essere alterato dal calore.

• Controllare sempre la zona di ricaricamento e tenere in ogni momento un estintore a disposizione.

• Terminare sempre il processo di carica se la batteria scotta al tatto o inizia a deformarsi (gonﬁarsi) durante il procedimento di carica.

• Collegare sempre prima il cavo al caricabatterie, poi collegare la batteria per evitare un cortocircuito fra i cavi del caricabatterie. Invertire la sequenza delle operazioni per la disconnessione.

• Finita la carica scollegare sempre la batteria e il caricabatterie e attendere che si raffreddino tra una carica e l’altra.

• Collegare sempre correttamente il cavo positivo (+) al rosso e il negativo (–) al nero.

• Caricare sempre in aree ventilate.

• Interrompere sempre qualsiasi processo e rivolgersi a Horizon

Hobby se il prodotto funziona male.

AVVERTENZA: Non lasciare mai incustodito il caricabatterie, non superare la corrente di carica massima, non effettuare la carica di batterie non approvate o caricare le batterie in modo sbagliato. Il mancato rispetto di queste disposizioni può comportare un calore eccessivo, incendi e lesioni gravi.

ATTENZIONE: veriﬁcare sempre che la batteria sotto carica soddisﬁ le speciﬁche di questo caricabatterie e che le impostazioni del caricabatterie siano corrette. Non farlo potrebbe portare a un eccessivo calore e ad altre disfunzioni del prodotto, che potrebbero portare a lesioni per l’utente o a danni alla proprietà. Rivolgersi a Horizon Hobby o a un rivenditore autorizzato per domande sulla compatibilità.
