2” Thrust Bearing
DXE-TB300
DX Engineering TB300 Advanced Design Thrust Bearings offer a major advance in mechanics that solve the issues with competing tower mast bearings that wear out too quickly. They are specifically designed for a 2 inch OD tower mast mounted vertically, for the efficient rotation of directional HF, VHF, UHF and SHF antennas.
Introduced in early 2021, the upgraded DX Engineering TB300 features high quality stainless steel ball bearings and stainless steel races that keep the bearings very clean. Compared with ANY OTHER thrust bearings, our TB300 thrust bearings are firm and strong with an ultra-low rotation resistance that has to be seen to be believed. These heavy-duty bearing assemblies are cast from highstrength aluminum, precision machined and assembled to last for the life of the tower installation.
DX Engineering Thrust Bearings mate with tower bearing plates and accessory plates for ROHN or Amerite towers. DX Engineering TB300 thrust bearings mount directly to:
DXE-AS455G DX Engineering Accessory Shelf for inside of ROHN 45G
and 55G and Amerite 45 & 55
Pre-drilled "Flat-Top" Tower Section models: ROHN 25AG4, ROHN
45AG4
Top Bearing Plate models: ROHN BPL25G on top of a straight 25G
tower section, ROHN BPL45G on top of a straight 45G tower section, ROHN BPL55G on top of a straight 55G tower section
Tower Top Bearing Plate with Accessory Shelf: ROHN BAS25G for top
of a straight 25G Tower Sections (may be used on the top of combination model).
They may also be used on any Amerite Tower and accessory that corresponds to the ROHN part numbers listed above, including tower-top bearing shelves for AME-25, 45 and 55 series towers.
The Thrust Bearing is supplied complete, with hardware. The three stainless steel mast capturing and centering hex head bolts are 3/8-16 x 1-1/2 in. long with stainless steel hex nuts. The mounting hardware, four (4) structural mounting bolts are 1/2-13 x 1-1/4 inch long, and the mounting hex nuts and washers are all galvanized.
Designed and built for vastly improved longevity, our thrust bearings reduce the load on your rotator motor more efficiently than the old standard version. TB300 fits masts from 1.5” OD to 2” OD. The TB400 fits masts from 2.5” OD to 3” OD.
