Series A6 Durable Pressure Switches have been specically designed to stand up
to extended duty applications. These switches are constructed with a polyimide lm
diaphragm and are compatible with a variety of uids. For ease of installation, the
switches come with a 1/4˝ male NPT process connection and can be mounted in any
orientation. The Series A6 pressure switches are compact and have great setpoint
integrity, and feature simple, easy set-point eld adjustment.
INSTALLATION/MOUNTING
The switch can be mounted in any position. Do not twist the case when installing.
Note: National Pipe Thread (NPT) when mated may contain slight gaps between
the major and minor diameter of the threads therefor plumbing tape or a compatible
sealing agent must be used on the brass ttings to ensure proper sealing and avoid
leaking.

SETPOINT ADJUSTMENT
Setpoint is eld adjustable within the range. In order to adjust setpoint remove black
plastic cover to expose the setpoint adjustment screw as indicated in the gure
below. Adjust top screw to change setpoint. Clockwise to increase setpoint and
counterclockwise to decrease setpoint.

WIRING
All wiring must conform to the National Electrical Code and local regulations. Do
not install the control to handle loads in excess of the electrical rating shown in the
specications. The terminals are labeled on the switch itself.
Repeatability: ±10% of set-point.
Set Point Tolerance: ±15% of range.
Switch Type: 1 SPST NO, 1 SPST NC.

MAINTENANCE
Upon nal installation of the Series A6 Durable Pressure Switch, no routine
maintenance is required. A periodic check of the system calibration is recommended.
The Series A6 is not eld serviceable and should be returned if repair is needed (eld
repair should not be attempted and may void warranty). Be sure to include a brief
description of the problem plus any relevant application notes. Contact customer
service to receive a return good authorization number before shipping.
No lubrication or periodic servicing is required. Mount the control
securely. Never exceed the electrical rating for the switch. Use the
