Säkerhetsföreskrifter
VARNING! Använd inte maskinen förrän du har
läst driftsanvisningarna. Läs och beakta instruktionerna innan du använder maskinen. Information, instruktioner och utbildning i hanteringen av
stoftavskiljaren och det damm som ska avskiljas
måste inhämtas innan den används. Maskinen
får endast användas av behörig personal som är
förtrogen med bestämmelserna i direktiv 1999/92/
EG.
Maskinen ska endast användas i Zon 22, ett
område där explosiv atmosfär inte förväntas förekomma vid normal hantering men om det skulle
förekomma är det endast för en kort period.
Varning! Vid användandet av elektriska maskiner
ska grundläggande säkerhetsföreskrifter inklusive
följande försiktighetsåtgärder följas för att minska
risken för brand, elstöt eller personskada.
X. Det medlevererade anslutningsdonet (IP67)
är endast avsett för anslutning utanför zonen.
CEE-kontakter och jordade uttag av Schukotyp är inte tillåtna i zon 22. Maskinen måste
därför anslutas utanför zon 22.
1. Viktigt!
Maskinen är utrustad med klistermärket ”Sug
inte upp tändkällor” (symbol enligt fi gur CC.1 i
EN 60335-2-69). Inga heta, glödande partiklar
eller andra tändkällor får sugas upp. Maskinen
får inte användas för explosiva, instabila eller
självantändande partiklar eller damm med en
minsta antändningsenergi om (MIE) < 3 mJ.
Maskiner av typ 22 är inte lämpliga för upp-
sugning av damm och vätskor med hög
explosionsrisk eller blandningar av brännbart
damm och vätskor. De är inte heller lämpliga
för uppsugning av potentiellt explosiva eller
motsvarande ämnen enligt direktiv 1994/9/EG.

användas av personer med lämplig utbildning i
dess hantering.
– VARNING! maskinen får endast
användas för uppsugning och borttagning av
torrt damm.
– FÖRSIKTIGHET! maski-
nen får endast användas inomhus.

ningsenergi under 1 mJ. Ytterligare restriktioner kan gälla enligt lokala föreskrifter angående hälsa och säkerhet.

skinen är inte lämplig för anslutning till dammande maskiner.
2. Hänsyn till miljöpåverkan
Maskinen får inte utsättas för regn. Maskinen
får inte användas i fuktig eller våt miljö och
får inte användas i närheten av brandfarliga
vätskor eller gaser.
3. Överbelastning
Låt inte maskinen gå helstrypt. Helstrypning
innebär risk för överhettning (manometern indikerar i rött fält). Använd maskinen för avsett
ändamål. Följ föreskrifterna för det material
som sugs.
4. Kroppsskador
Låt aldrig sugpunkten komma i kontakt med
någon kroppsdel. Det starka undertrycket kan
skada hudens blodkärl. Försök aldrig att på
egen hand ändra elektriska kopplingar. Ett fel
kan medföra livsfara. Se också nedan under
varning.
5. Sladden
Dra aldrig maskinen med hjälp av sladden.
Utsätt inte sladden för värme eller skarpa föremål. Kontrollera kablar för potentialutjämning,
elkabel och elektrisk utrustning före användning. Maskinen får inte användas om någon
del är skadad. Inga förlängningssladdar,
instickskontakter eller adaptrar får användas
för anslutning till elnätet.
6. Viktig åtgärd
Vid rengöring och skötsel ska maskinen göras
strömlös genom avstängning och utdragning av kontakten. Service ska aldrig utföras
inne i zonen. Dammbehållaren ska tömmas
vid behov och alltid efter varje användning.
Maskinen får bara användas om alla fi lter är
oskadade och fi nns på plats.
7. Omsorg
Håll maskinen ren och fri från dammavlag-
ringar. Se till att sugslangen är hel och att alla
packningar är täta. Följ instruktionerna. Håll
bärhandtagen torra och fria från olja och fett.

Säkerhetsföreskrifter
8. Kontroll
Kontrollera alltid att maskinen är oskadad
innan den används. Finns det skador måste
maskinen repareras av en auktoriserad serviceverkstad som är godkänd av Dustcontrol.
Om nätsladden är skadad måste den bytas av
Dustcontrol eller auktoriserad serviceverkstad,
som är godkänd av Dustcontrol. Nätsladden
får bara ersättas med angiven typ.
9. Transpor t
När man transporterar maskinen på annat
sätt än att rulla den ska behållaren vara tömd.
Broms på främre hjul ska alltid låsas när ma-
skinen inte rullas.
10. Varning
Använd endast tillbehör som godkänts av till-
verkaren för användning med Typ 22. Användningen av andra tillbehör kan medföra risk för
explosion.
Endast sugtillbehör i antistatiskt utförande eller
metall får användas. OBS! Vid användandet av
felaktiga delar eller piratdelar (framförallt fi lter
och sugslang) kan maskinen läcka hälsofarligt damm med personskada som följd. Inga
plastsäckar får användas i maskinens stoftavskiljande del. Säker borttagning av avskilda
material måste ske enligt direktiven i CENELEC TR 50404.
Maskinen får inte hanteras av barn. Personer
med nedsatt fysisk, sensorisk eller mental
förmåga får inte hantera maskinen utan anvisningar och tillsyn från en person som ansvarar
för deras säkerhet. Barn ska hållas under
uppsikt för att säkerställa att de inte leker med
maskinen.
Information, instruktioner och utbildning i han-
teringen av stoftavskiljaren och det damm som
ska avskiljas måste inhämtas innan stoftavskiljaren används.
Maskinen är lämplig för kommersiellt bruk,
till exempel på hotell, i skolor, på sjukhus och
fabriker, i butiker, på kontor och i uthyrningslokaler.

Funktionsbeskrivning
DC 3800 H/5 800 Turbo EX är en eldriven stoftavskiljare med robust konstruktion för användning i dammande verksamhet inom industrin. Stoftavskiljare av
typ 22 är lämpliga för uppsamling av brandfarligt stoft
i zon 22. Industriella stoftavskiljare är avsedda för
uppsugning och borttagning av dammavlagringar.
Explosionsskydd verkställs genom isoleringen av
de elektriska delarna och potentialutjämningen av
de komponenter som kommer i kontakt med damm.
Maskinen kan användas vid temperaturer mellan +10
och +40 °C. DC 3800 H/5800 Turbo EX är lämplig för
allmän rengöring. Regelbunden rengöring av arbetsplatsen är viktig för att förhindra dammexplosioner.
Maskinen arbetar med undertryck. Avskiljningen av
grova partiklar sker i en cyklon och avskiljningen av
fi nt damm sker i fi lterenheten.

När materialet avlägsnats och fi ltrerats samlas det
i en 40-litersbehållare med plastsäcksinfodring, art.
nr. 42384H. Behållaren tas bort med en enkel handrörelse och materialet är därför lätt att bortskaffa.
Ta försiktigt bort den fyllda säcken från behållarens
kant och förslut den genast tätt. Placera sedan en
ny plastsäck i behållaren och trä försiktigt öppningen
över kanten på behållaren igen och se till att säcken
inte har skadats och att det inte fi nns några veck på
den.
ATEX
Denna maskin med tillbehör är lämplig för användning i zon 22 (1999/92/EC) för uppsugning och
borttagning av:
Materialet avskiljs till en behållare som är fästad
direkt vid cyklonen. Filtret rengörs med omvänd puls.

Denna standard omfattar säkerheten för dammsugare med elmotorer, inklusive stoftavskiljare
och ryggburna dammsugare, som används för
våtavskiljning, torravskiljning eller våt-och-torr-
avskiljning, som tillhandahålls för kommersiellt
bruk inomhus och för utomhusbruk med och utan
tillbehör för uppsamling av brännbart damm i en
atmosfär (zon 22) som betecknas som explosiv.
Drift
Kontrollera alltid att elektrisk utrustning och kablar för potentialutjämning är oskadade samt att
samtliga tillbehör är antistatiska. Anslut kontakten
till ett eluttag som befi nner sig utanför zonen med
spänning enligt specifi kationerna på maskinens
märkning.
Filtren ska rensas 1-2 gånger om dagen vid kontinuerlig användning eller när tryckmätaren visar på
rött.
GÖR SÅ HÄR:

1. Starta maskinen.
2. Ta loss sugslangen från sugröret.
3. Stäng till sugslangens fria ände t. ex. genom
att trycka den mot golvet. Genom att stänga
slangen skapas ett maximalt undertryck i cyklonen.
4. Öppna luckan på sidan 3-6 gånger. Luften
rusar in i maskinen och rensar fi ltret med
pulsverkan.
5. Öppna slangen igen och anslut sugmunstycket.
6. Om tryckmätaren står på
grönt kan arbetet återupptas, om den står på rött ska
rensnings proceduren upprepas. Står mätaren på rött
också efter repetitionen ska
fi nfi ltret bytas, art. nr. 42398.
FÖRSIKTIGHET! Maskinen innehåller farligt
damm. Tömnings- och underhållshantering, inklusive borttagning av dammuppsamlingsbehål-
lare, får endast utföras av specialiserad personal
som måste bära lämplig skyddsutrustning. Fungerar inte
utan komplett fi ltreringssystem.
4. Öppna spjället på cyklonens inlopp.
5. Kontrollera att tryckmätaren står på grönt. Om
inte - upprepa proceduren. Om mätaren står på
rött också efter repetitionen behöver fi nfi ltret
bytas.
Vissa arbetsmoment (som stryper luftfl ödet) kan
göra att mätaren ställer sig på ett högt värde även
med rent fi lter. Maskinen ska aldrig köras varaktigt
när mätaren visar på det röda området, eftersom
detta innebär risk för överhettning. Övergång från
grönt till rött område sker vid 1,5 kPa.
Behållaren under cyklonen bör tömmas när den
är fylld till cirka 2/3 eller max. 40 kg. Lossa de
två spännlåsen och ta ut behållaren. Var försiktig
när spännlåsen lossas – de kan öppna sig med
stor kraft – speciellt när materialet är tungt. Var
uppmärksam på att tömningen av behållaren kan
innebära explosionsrisk, dvs. att explosiv atmosfär
kan uppstå och att statisk uppladdning kan genereras av partiklarnas friktion mot behållaren. För
lämpliga åtgärder se CENELEC TR 50404.
När behållaren monteras på stoftavskiljaren ska
spännlåsens bygel ha god kontakt med blecket på
överdelen.

Service
Följande försiktighetsåtgärder bör generellt
iakttas före underhållsarbete:
1. För att undvika dammspridning måste maskinen dammsugas och torkas ren innan den tas
bort från det förorenade området och sugöppningarna ska förslutas med tätningsanordningar såsom pluggar.
2. Alla maskiner måste anses som förorenade
om de fl yttas från den farliga zonen. Lämpliga
åtgärder måste vidtas för att förhindra dammspridning.
3. Vid underhåll eller reparationer måste alla förorenade objekt som inte har rengjorts tillfredsställande avyttras. Dessa objekt ska bortskaffas i dammsäkra påsar enligt de bestämmelser
som gäller för bortskaffande av avfall.
4. Rengör maskinen före demontering.
5. (När så är möjligt) välj en lokal med fi ltrerad
fl äktventilation.
6. Rengör underhållsområdet i förväg.
7. Använd lämplig personlig skyddsutrustning.
8. Filterpatronen i cyklonen ska bytas ut vid
behov och minst en gång om året. Använd
endast originalfi lter.
9. Maskinen ska kopplas bort från elnätet vid rengöring och underhåll. Service får aldrig utföras
i zonområdet.

10. Eftersom DC 3800 H/5800 Turbo EX används i explosiv miljö måste dess funktionalitet inspekteras av tillverkaren eller utbildad
personal minst en gång om året (inspektion av
exempelvis skador på fi ltret, lufttätheten hos
dammsugaren, styrenhetens funktion, skador
på elkomponenter, tätningar och potentialutjämningskablar). Använd endast originaldelar.
11. När dammuppsamlingsbehållaren ska tömmas
måste de båda spännlåsen försiktigt frigöras,
ett i taget, för att förhindra att damm virvlar
upp i onödan. När behållaren sänkts ned slås
avskiljaren på igen så att eventuella vidhäftade
partiklar sugs in i fi ltercyklonen. Behållaren
kan nu tas bort från maskinen. Ta försiktigt
bort den fyllda säcken från behållarens kant
och förslut den genast tätt. Montera en ny
plastsäck och placera öppningen noggrant
tillbaka över kanten på behållaren. Se till att
inga veck bildas och att säcken inte är skadad.
Sätt sedan försiktigt tillbaka behållaren på
plats, fäst de två spännena, stäng av maskinen och återslut behållaren till maskinen och
kontrollera så att det inte fi nns något läckage.

Service
Filterbyte
Finfi ltret ska bytas minst en gång varje år. Hepa-
fi lter ska bytas efter var 300:e drifttimme. Använd
andningsskydd vid fi lterbyte. Använd endast origi-
nalfi lter.
Frigör och lyft av locket. Förhindra dammläckage
genom att placera en plastsäck over cyklonen och
ta bort fi lterpatronen. Rengör fi lterplattan. Montera
det nya fi ltret.
- FÖRSIKTIGHET! Återanvänd inte huvudfi ltret när
det tagits bort från maskinen.
Hepafi ltret tas bort innan patronen lyfts ut efter att
luckan öppnats. Den nya fi lterpatronen placeras i
fi nfi ltret och förseglas genom noggrann fastsätt-
ning av locket.
Varning
Tillverkaren eller en utbildad person måste genomföra en inspektion minst en gång om året,
till exempel av skador på fi ltret, lufttätheten hos
dammsugaren och styrenhetens funktion.
Turbopump en har ett mycket långt serviceliv och
kräver inget underhåll. Efter omkring 10 000 drifttimmar ska radialtätningen mellan motorn och
pumpen smörjas med lagerfett. Elmotorns lager
och tätningar måste inspekteras samtidigt. De ska
smörjas och vid behov bytas ut. Om annat slitage
observeras ska de aktuella delarna bytas ut.

Garanti
Garantitiden är två år och avser fabrikationsfel.
Garantin gäller under förutsättning att maskinen
används på normalt sätt och får den service som
krävs. Normalt slitage ersätts inte. Reparationer
ska utföras av Dustcontrol eller av person som
godkänts av Dustcontrol. I annat fall förverkas
garantin.

Safety Considerations
CAUTION! Do not use the machine until you have
read the operating instructions. Read and note
these instructions before you operate the machine.
Information, instructions and training in the use
of the dust-extraction machine and the dusts to
be separated should be obtained before use. The
machine may only be used by authorised personnel who are familiar with the provisions of Directive
1999/92/EC.
The machine should only be used in Zone 22, an
area in which an explosive atmosphere in the form
of combustible clouds of dust in the air is unlikely
to occur during normal operation, but, if it does occur, is only for a short period.
Warning! When using electrical machinery, basic
safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fi re, electric shock and personal
injury, including the following:
X. The supplied connector (IP67) is only intended
for connection outside the zone. Standard
CEE wall sockets and Schuko-type earthed
sockets are not permissible in Zone 22. The
machine must therefore be connected outside
Zone 22.
– CAUTION! The machine must
be stored indoors.
– CAUTION! For dusts with an
ignition energy below 1 mJ, further restrictions imposed by the Occupational Health and
Safety Authorities may apply.
– CAUTION! The machine is not
suitable for connection to a dust-generating
machine.
2. Consideration for environmental infl uenc-
es
The machine must not be exposed to rain. The
machine must not be used in a damp or wet
environment and must not be used in the vicinity of fl ammable liquids or gases.
3. Overload
Never let the machine operate fully throttled,
as this poses a risk of overheating (pressure
gauge needle is in the red zone). Always follow
the regulations pertinent to the material you
are working with. Do not use the machine for
purposes for which it is not intended.

1. Important!
The machine is provided with a sticker “Do not
pick up sources of ignition” (symbol as in Figure CC.1 of EN 60335-2-69). No hot, glowing
particles or other sources of ignition must be
picked up. The machine should not be used for
explosive, unstable or self-igniting particles or
dusts with a minimum ignition energy (MIE) <
3mJ.
Machines of Type 22 are not suitable for pick-
ing up dusts and liquids with a high explosion
risk or mixtures of combustible dusts with
liquids, and are not suitable for picking up
potentially explosive or equivalent substances
in the meaning of the Directive 1994/9/EC .
– WARNING! The machine may
only be operated by persons who have received adequate instruction in its use.
– WARNING! This machine
should only be used for the suction and removal of dry dusts.
– CAUTION! This machine must
only be used indoors.
4. Bodily injury
Never let the suction come into contact with
any part of the body. The strong suction effect
can damage the blood vessels in the skin. Do
not attempt to repair the electrical components
yourself. The machine should only be serviced
by qualifi ed personnel. Any mistake may result
in injury. See also below under “Warnings”.
5. Do not abuse the power cord
Never pull the machine by its power cord.
Keep the power cord away from heat and
sharp edges. Check potential equalisation cables, electrical cables and electrical equipment
before use. The machine must not be used
if any part is damaged. No extension leads,
plug-in cable connectors or adapters should
be used for connection to the mains supply.
6. Important information
Disconnect the power cable from the mains
before cleaning or performing maintenance
on the machine. Servicing should never be
performed inside the zone. The dust container
should be emptied as required, and in any
case after each use. The machine may only be
operated if all fi lters are in place and undam-
aged.

7. Care of the machine
Keep the machine clean and free of dust de-
posits. Check that the hose is undamaged and
that all seals are intact. Follow all instructions.
Keep handles dry and free of oil and grease.
8 Checking for damage
Always check the machine carefully for dam-
age before use. Any damaged parts should be
repaired by a Dustcontrol authorised service
centre.
If the mains cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualifi ed persons, in order to avoid
a hazard. The mains cord must only be replaced with the specifi ed type.
9. Transpor tation
The container must be emptied before the
machine is transported. The front wheel has a
brake that should always be locked when the
machine is stationary.
10. Warnings
Only use accessories approved by the manu-
facturer for use with Type 22. The use of other
accessories may result in the risk of explosion.
Only antistatic or metallically conductive suc-
tion accessories may be used. The machine
could leak dust that is hazardous to health if
defective or pirated parts (especially fi lters and
hoses) are used. No plastic sacks should be
used in the dust-extraction part of the machine.
Safe removal of the separated materials
must take place according to the directives of
CENELEC TR 50404.
This machine must not be operated by chil-
dren. Persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities must not operate the
machine unless they receive instruction and
supervision from a person who is responsible
for their safety. Children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the machine.
Information, instructions and training in the use
of the dust-extraction machine and the dusts
to be separated should be obtained before
use.
The machine is suitable for commercial use,
for example in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offi ces and rental businesses.

ENGLISH
The DC 3800 H/5800 Turbo EX is an electrically
operated, robustly constructed dust extractor for use
in conjunction with dust-generating operations in
industry. Dust extractors of Type 22 are suitable for
the collection of fl ammable dust in Zone 22. Industrial
dus t ex tractors are intended to be u sed for the suction
and removal of dust deposits. Explosion protection
is provided by the insulation of the electrical parts
and the potential equalisation of the components
that come into contact with dust. The machine can
be used at temperatures between +10 and +40 °C.
The DC 3800 H/5800 Turbo EX is suitable for general cleaning operations. Regular cleaning of the
workplace is important to prevent dust explosions.
The machine operates with negative pressure.
Separation of the coarse particles takes place in a
cyclone, and separation of the fi ne dust takes place

in the fi lter unit.
The material is separated into a container that is attached directly to the cyclone. The fi lter is cleaned
using reverse pulse.
The material that has been vacuumed up and fi ltered
is collected in a container with a capacity of 40 litres
with a plastic sack insert (part no. 42384H). The
container can be removed with a simple movement
of the hand, and the material is thus easily disposed
of. Carefully remove the full sack from
the edge of the bin and immediately seal it tight.
Then place a new plastic sack in the bin, and carefully pass the opening back over the edge of the bin,
ensuring that no damage is caused, and such that
no folds are visible.
Description

The machine and accessories are suitable for use in
Zone 22 (1999/92/EC) for the suction and removal of:

This Standard covers the safety of dust extractors with electric motors, including dust
separators and back-pack vacuums, used for
wet extraction, dry extraction, or wet-and-dry
Operation
Always check that the electrical equipment and
potential equalisation cables are undamaged,
and that all accessories are antistatic. Connect to
a power source outside the zone in accordance
with the voltage specifi ed on the rating plate of the
machine.
The fi lter should be cleaned once or twice a day if the
machine is operated continuously or, if the machine
is equipped with a pressure gauge and the needle
is in the red zone.
To clean the fi lter:

1. Start the machine.
2. Disconnect the hose from the suction casing.
3. Close the suction hose tightly, e.g. by pressing
it against the fl oor. Closing the hose produces
maximum negative pressure in the machine.
4. Open the door on the side 3 to 6 times. The air
rushes into the machine and cleans the fi lter
by means of reverse pulse.
5. Open the hose again, and reconnect the
suction nozzle.
6. If the pressure gauge needle is in the green
zone, work can continue. If it is in the red
zone, repeat the reverse pulse cleaning. If the
presusure gauge needle remains in the red
zone after reverse pulse cleaning has been
performed several times, the
fi ne fi lter (part no. 42398)
should be changed.

collect combustible dust in an atmosphere (Zone 22)
designated as explosive.
CAUTION! This machine contains hazardous
dust. Emptying and any maintenance operations,
including the removal of dust collection contain-
ers, must only be carried out by specialist personnel, who must wear the appropriate protective equipment.
Do not operate without the complete fi ltration system.
3. Activate the cleaning switch ON and later OFF.
4. Open the shutter valve.
5. If the fi lter condition meter reads green work can
continue. If in the red, pulse clean again. If after
several repetitions, the fi lter condition still shows
red the fi ne fi lter must be changed.
Some operations (i.e. those that that restrict air fl ow)
can make the pressure gauge show a high reading,
even when the fi lter is clean. The machine should
never be operated permanently when the gauge is
in the red zone, as this poses a risk of overheating.
Transition from the green area to the red area occurs at 1.5 kPa.
The container underneath the cyclone should be
emptied when about 2/3 full or max. 40 kg. Release
the two fasteners and remove the container. Be
careful when releasing the fasteners, as they can
open with great force, especially when the material
is heavy. Be aware that emptying the container may
pose a risk of explosion, i.e. an explosive atmosphere
may occur and a static charge may be generated by
the friction of particles against the container. See
CENELEC TR 50404 for the appropriate measures.
When the container is attached back onto the dust
extractor, make sure that the bracket is properly attached to the contact plate.

Service
The following precautions should generally
be observed before the start of maintenance
operations:
1. To avoid the spread of dust, before the machine is removed from the contaminated area,
it must be vacuumed and wiped clean, and the
suction openings should be closed with sealing means such as plugs.
2. All machines must be regarded as being
contaminated if they are removed from the
hazardous zone. Appropriate measures must
be taken to prevent the spread of dust.
3. When performing maintenance or repair operations, all contaminated items that have not
been cleaned satisfactorily must be disposed
of. Such items must be disposed of in dustproof bags in accordance with the provisions
that are applicable to the disposal of waste.
4. Clean the machine before disassembly.
5. (Wherever possible), choose a room with
fi ltered forced ventilation.
6. Clean the maintenance area beforehand.
7. Use suitable personal protective equipment.
10. Because the DC 3800 H/5800 Turbo EX is
used in an explosive environment, the functionality of the machine must be inspected by
the manufacturer or a trained person at least
once a year (e.g. inspection of the fi lter for
damage, inspection of the air tightness of the
dust-extraction machine and function of the
control unit, and inspection of the electrical
components, seals and potential equalisation
cables for damage. Only use original spare
parts.
11. To empty the dust collection container, the
two fasteners must be released with care,
one after the other, to prevent dust from being
stirred up unnecessarily. After lowering the
container, the extractor should be switched
on again in order for any suspended particles
to be sucked into the fi lter cyclone. The con-
tainer can now be removed from the machine.
Carefully remove the full sack from the edge of
the bin, and immediately seal it tight. Fit a new
plastic sack, and carefully pass the opening
back over the edge of the bin. Make sure that
no folds occur, and that the sack is not damaged. Then carefully put the container back in
place, attach the two fasteners, switch off the
machine, and re-attach the container to the
machine and check that there are no leaks.

8. The fi lter cartridge in the cyclone should be
replaced as necessary, and at least once a
year. Only use an original fi lter.
9. The machine should be disconnected from
the power supply during cleaning and maintenance. Service operations should never take
place in the zone area.

Service
Filter replacement
The fi ne fi lter should be replaced at least once a
year. HEPA fi lters should be replaced after every
300 hours of operation. Wear a dust mask when
replacing the fi lter. Only use an original fi lter.
Release and lift off the lid. To prevent the escape
of dust, place a plastic sack over the cyclone, and
remove the fi lter cartridge. Clean the fi lter plate.
Then fi t the new fi lter.
- CAUTION! Do not reuse the main fi lter once it
has been removed from the machine.
The HEPA fi lter is removed by withdrawing the car-
tridge after opening the lid. The new fi lter cartridge
is placed in the fi ne fi lter and is sealed by carefully
attaching the lid.
Caution
The manufacturer or a trained person must carry
out an inspection at least annually, e.g. damage to
the fi lter, air-tightness of the dust-extraction ma-
chine and the function of the control unit.
The turbopump has a very long service life and
requires no maintenance. After approximately
10,000 hours of operation, the radial seal between
the motor and the pump should be lubricated with
bearing grease. The bearings and seals of the
electric motor must be inspected at the same time.
These must be lubricated and replaced, if
necessary. If any other wear is observed, the parts
concerned must be replaced.

Warranty
The warranty period for this machine is two years
and covers manufacturing defects. The warranty is
valid provided that the machine is used in the proper manner for which it was designed and that it is
serviced as required. Normal wear is not covered
by this warranty.
Servicing carried out by anyone other than Dustcontrol or its authorised agent shall automatically
void the warranty. No other warranty, express or
implied, shall apply.
