Säkerhetsföreskrifter
Läs följande säkerhetsinstruktion innan du startar maskinen. Spara instruktionen.
Varning! Vid användandet av elektriska maskiner ska grundläggande säkerhetsföreskrifter följas för att minska risken för brand, elstöt eller personskada.
1. Arbetsmiljön Utsätt inte maskinen för väta. Använd den ej i fuktiga och våta utrymmen eller i närheten av lättantändliga vätskor eller gaser.
2. Överbelastning Låt inte maskinen gå helstrypt. Använd maski­nen för avsett ändamål. Följ föreskrifterna för det material som sugs, t ex asbest.
3. Kroppsskador Låt aldrig sugpunkten komma i kontakt med någon kroppsdel. Det starka undertrycket kan skada hudens blodkärl. Försök aldrig att på egen hand ändra elektriska kopplingar. Ett fel kan medföra livsfara. Se också nedan under varning.
4. Sladden
Dra aldrig maskinen med hjälp av sladden.
Utsätt inte sladden för värme eller skarpa
föremål. Kontrollera elkabeln regelbundet.
Maskinen får inte användas om kabeln eller
kontakten är skadad.
5. Viktig åtgärd
Vid rengöring och skötsel ska maskinen göras strömlös genom avstängning och utdragning av kontakten.
6. Omsorg Håll maskinen ren och se till att sugslangen är
hel och att alla packningar är täta. Följ instruk­tionerna. Håll bärhandtagen torra och fria från olja och fett.
7. Kontroll Kontrollera alltid att maskinen är oskadad
innan användandet av maskinen. Finns det
skador måste maskinen repareras av en
auktoriserad serviceverkstad som är godkänd av Dustcontrol .
8. Varning Använd endast tillbehör och utbytesdelar som
fi nns i Dustcontrol´s katalog. OBS! Vid användandet av felaktiga eller piratdelar (framförallt fi lter och plastsäckar) kan maskinen läcka hälsofarligt damm med personskada som följd.

Funktionsbeskrivning
Maskinen är avsedd för uppsugning och avskiljning av torrt ej lättantändligt damm. Maskinen uppfyller kraven för avskiljning av hälsofarligt damm enligt AFS Asbest, AFS Kvarts (mobila dammsugare).
DC 2700i är en liten men fullvärdig maskin från Dustcontrol. Den är stabil, oöm och driftsäker. Den passar till punktutsugning i många sammanhang. Till exempel vid borrning, svetsning, slipning, per-
Drift
Anslut maskinen till ett eluttag med spänning en­ligt specifi kationerna på maskinens märkplåt. Vid skarvning av elkabeln ska skarvsladden vara vat­tenskyddad.
Filtren ska rensas 1-2 gånger om dagen vid konti­nuerlig användning. Aggregatet ska vara igång vid
sonlig sanering och städning.
Designen är ergonomisk och funktionell. Den låga ljudnivån gör att DC 2700i kan användas i ljudkäns­liga miljöer.

Öppna sidoluckan ca 3-6 gånger. Luften rusar in i ma­skinen och rensar fi ltret med pulsverkan. Momentet upprepas tills manometern visar grönt. Om den inte uppfyllter kravet, så byt fi lter.

Service
Vid rengöring och skötsel ska maskinen stängas av och kontakten dras ur.
Finfi ltret bör bytas minst en gång per år eller när det inte längre går att skaka rent (se ”drift”). Om maski­nen har kombifi lter (med mikrofi lter) ska det bytas efter ca 300 driftstimmar. Använd skyddsmask vid fi lterbyte och se till att inga oskyddade personer kan exponeras för hälsofarligt damm.Utbytta fi lter ska förvaras i plastsäcken och förslutas. Endast oritinal­fi lter är testade och godkända.
Kontrollera regelbundet att elkabeln inte är skadad. DC 2700i ska funktionsprovas och ses över minst en gång per år. Slitna delar måste bytas ut eftersom det är en maskin för hälsofarligt material. Äventyra aldrig funktion och livslängd.
Dustcontrol tar inte ansvar för maskiner som är ut­rustade med annat än originaldelar.
Maskinens fl äkt är underhållsfri.

Safety Considerations
Read all instructions before attempting to operate this machine and save these instructions.
Warning! When using electric machines, basic safety precuations should always be followed to reduce the risk of fi re, electric shock and personal injury, including the following:
1. Work area environment Don´t expose the machine for rain. Don´t use it in damp or wet locations or in presence of fl ammable liquids or gases.
2. Overload Never let the machine operate fully throttled. Always follow the regulations pertinent to the
material you are working with ie asbestos.
Don´t use the machine for purposes that it isn´t
intended for.
3. Body injuries Never let the suction come in contact with parts of the body. The strong suction effect can
hurt the blood-vessels in the skin. Do not re-
pair the electric components yourself, get
somebody qualifi ed. Faults may cause injury.

4. Don´t abuse cord
Never pull the machine by cord. Keep cord from heat and sharp edges. Check the electric cable regularly if damage.
5. Important measure With cleaning and maintenance on the mach­ine, the power cable should be disconnected from the supply.
6. Maintain the machine with care
Keep machine clean and check that the hose
is entired and that all gaskets are tight. Follow instructions. Keep handles dry and free from oil and grease.
7. Checking of damage Before futher use of the machine it should be carefully checked that the machine is un­damaged. If there are any damaged parts these should be repaired by of a Dustcontrol authori­zed service center.
8. Warning Use only accessories and replacable parts which are available in Dustcontrol catalogue.
When using faulty parts or pirate parts
(especially fi lter) the machine could leak out unhealthy dust which can cause personal injuries.

Description
The machine should be used for suction and separa­tion of dried not infl ammable dust. The machine fulfi l the demands for separation of unhealthy dust.
The DC 2700i is, despite it’s compact size, a full capacity Dustcontrol machine. It is stable, tough and reliable and particularly suited to spot extraction in many different applications ie: welding, grinding, sanding and cleanup with the 38 mm program.
Operation
Connect the unit to a suitable power as specifi ed on the identifi cation plate. When using an extension cord, the cord must be rated for the application ac­cording to conductor gauge and the insulation type, ex AWG 14/3 SOW.
The fi lter should be cleaned once or twice a shift during continuous operations or as required for the application. The unit must be in operation during fi lter cleaning. T o perform the fi lter cleaning function, slide the suction hose over the black plastic handle to create maximum negative pressure in the cyclon.
The design is ergonomic and appealing. W ith a very low sound level of 70 dB(A) at 1m distance, the DC 2700i is suitable for use in areas which are sen­sitive to noise. The direct drive two stage high pres­sure fan is integrated into the units top. The 1200W capacity fan is double insulated for higher safety.

Open the fi lter cleaning port on the side of the unit with a quick motion three - six times, allowing the vacuum to maximize in the cyclone between succes­sive openings. Air rushes into the unit creating the reverse air pulse which cleans the fi lter. Should this fail to return the unit to operating performance, a fi lter change may be necessary.

Service
With cleaning and maintenance on the machine, the power cable should be disconnected from the supply.
The fi ne fi lter should be changed at least once per year. If the machine is used with a microfi lter/HEPA fi lter, this should be changed every 300 running hours. Use breathing protection when changing the fi lter. Care must be taken during the fi lter change not to expose unprotected persons to harmful dust. Used fi lters should be sealed in a plastic sack and disposed properly.
When changing the fi lters, check the gasket. An un- sealed gasket can cause discharge of whealty dust.
Check regularly that the electrical cable is not da­maged.
The DC 2700i should be performance tested at least once per year because it may be used with hazardus materials. Worn parts must be replaced. Dustcontrol is not responsible for machines that are equipped with other than original spare parts.

Warranty
The warranty period is two years for single shift ope­ration or equivalent time with multishift operation. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. This warranty is null and void for machines equipped with other than original spare parts.
