M237 DC BRICK
DESCRIPTION
• Powers eight 9V pedals and two
18V pedals all at once without
sacricing signal integrity
• Features 8 red LEDs to clearly
indicate short-circuited pedals
• Includes AC adapter and all
necessary cables to connect
pedals to the unit
CONTROLS
18V IN receives power from
18V DC Adapter
9V OUT jacks power eight 9V
pedals; RED LEDs indicate
short-circuited pedals
BLUE LED indicates whether
the DC Brick is powered
18V OUT jacks power two
18V pedals
POWER
The DC Brick requires an 18V
regulated power supply rated at
2000 mA, with 5.5mm x 2.1mm
positive barrel, negative center
plug. The included power
adapter can utilize a wide range
of wall power, from 100-240V at
47-63Hz. Optional international
wall adapters can be ordered
from your Dunlop dealer.
DIRECTIONS
• Connect included AC adapter
into the DC Brick’s 18V IN jack.
• Plug the AC adapter into a
wall outlet; the blue power
LED will light.
• Connect up to eight pedals
requiring 9V power to the eight
9V OUT jacks using the included
barrel-to-barrel cables.
• Connect up to two pedals
requiring 18V power to the two
18V OUT jacks using the barrelto-barrel cables.
CONNECTION NOTES
• Included cables use industry
standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm
positive barrel, negative
center polarity plugs.
• Eight 9V outputs can handle
an average of 150 mA each,
or a total of 1200 mA in
any conguration.
• Two 18V outputs can handle
an average of 400 mA each,
or a total of 800 mA in any
conguration.
• All outputs may be used
simultaneously for a total
current output of up to 2000 mA.
• The DC Brick is not compatible
with positive ground pedals.
Use of positive ground pedals
may cause short circuiting.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The power LED fails to light.
• Dead AC outlet. Try plugging into another outlet,
or test the outlet with another device like a lamp.
• Faulty connection. Double check plugs to
make sure they are inserted securely.
• Short circuited output. For 9V outputs
disconnect the cable from the jack whose
red LED is on. If no LEDs are on, disconnect
the cables from the 18V jacks. Wait 5 to 10
seconds for the unit to reset. This will be
indicated by the blue LED turning back on.
Power provided to some effects, but not others.
• Incompatible power plug. Check that the
dimensions and polarity of the pedals are
compatible with the provided cables.
• Faulty cord. Check by swapping the power
cable with another known good cable.
• Faulty jack on DC Brick. Check by plugging the
power cable into a different DC jack.
• Faulty jack on the pedal. Test by running the
pedal off battery power.
