MXR CUSTOM SHOP
Since its 1999 inception, the MXR Custom Shop has brought together the world’s leading design engineers and the hottest guitarists—people like Bob Bradshaw, Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Prince, Joe Perry, Lenny Kravitz, Kirk Hammet, the Edge, Steve Lukather, and Zakk Wylde. The result? Some of the coolest, ultra hot-rodded effect pedals ever known and reintroductions of hard to get, out-of-production Classics. MXR has now opened its Custom Shop to the public and will be releasing these pedals in limited quantities through select dealers world-wide.
‘74 VINTAGE
CSP-026 PHASE SHIFTER
Coveted by both players and collectors—the MXR Phase 90 set the benchmark for phasers, with its thick and rich tone. Our in-house work horse, purchased in 1974 by Dunlop Senior Engineer Bob Cedro, was meticulously spec’d and recreated as the '74 Vintage Phase 90. The hand-wired board features select resistors paired with hand-matched FETs to achieve the same smooth and warm modulation as the original. The '74 Vintage Phase 90 comes housed in the classic orange finished box and is adorned with the unmistakable Script logo. Available only from the MXR Custom Shop.

DIRECTIONS
To begin using your MXR CUSTOM SHOP ‘74 VINTAGE PHASE 90: A) Run a cable from your guitar to the Vintage Phase 90’s Input jack and run another
cable from the Vintage Phase 90’s Output jack to your amplifier. (For starters,
select the clean channel of your amp). B) Set the Vintage Phase 90’s Speed control to 12 o’clock. C) Turn the effect on by depressing the footswitch. D) Rotating the Speed knob in a clockwise motion will result in a faster phase effect,
2
and a counterclockwise motion creates slower effects. E) Select your amp’s distortion channel and repeat steps B through D to hear how the
effect reacts differently with a dirty tone.
