Locking Pin Assembly:
1. Slip locking pin (1) through the recessed
washer (2).
2. Insert lo ckin g pin (1) through stra p hole (3).
3. Slip f lat was her (4) over lo ckin g pin (1)
against strap (3).
4. Snap retain er clip (5) into lo ckin g pin’s
shank groove (1).

Recessed Button Instructions:
1. Secure b ody of instru ment to a f lat sur face
such a s a table or work benc h and rem ove
exist ing strap but tons. If neck is bolted on,
remove it for easier ac cess .
2. With a 7/64" bit , drill a c enter h ole 1 1/4" deep
for mounting screw—this will serve as a
pilot hole.
3. Use a 3/8ʺ bit t o drill 1/2" deep to accommodate s trap button . Insert strap button (6)
into ho le.
4. Lubr icate t ip of mounting screw (7) with a
small amount of wax or bar soap, and use a
#2 Phillips s crewd river to screw i t into 7/64"
center hole.
5. Rotate clockwi se unti l snug.
6. Repeat for other Straplok butto n.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To Lock:
1. Press lo ckin g pin plunger (1) & insert pin
asse mbly into strap button (6).
2. Rele ase plunger when unit is FULLY locked.
3. Pull on strap to check for sec ure lock.
To Unlock:
1. Press lo ckin g pin plunger (1).
2. Remove locking pi n (1) from stra p button (6)
and release p lunger.
Maintenance:
It is import ant to period ically maintain th e
Straplok system. Keeping the ball beari ngs and
the lo cking pin lub ricated is VERY impor tant, as
is making sure there i s nothing inside the strap
butt on. We rec ommend the fo llowi ng item s to
assist you:
1. Cotton Swabs
2. Lubricant Spray
