F UZZ FACE DISTORTION

The Fuzz Face Distortion was a crucial element
to the Jimi Hendrix™ sound throughout his
career. This pedal’s circuit is meticulously faithful
to the very same unit he employed in the late
’60s, featuring colorful, iconic Hendrix art from
legendary rock artist Gered Mankowitz.

DIRECTIONS

• Run a cable from your guitar to
the JHM5’s INPUT jack and run
another cable from the JHM5’s
OUTPUT jack to your amplifier.

• Star t with VOLUME and FUZZ
controls at 12 o’clock.

• Turn the effect on by depressing
the footswitch.

• Rotate VOLUME knob clockwise
to increase overall volume or
counterclockwise to decrease it.

• Rotate FUZZ knob clockwise to
increase the amount of fuzz or
counterclockwise to decrease it.

POWER

The Jimi Hendrix™ Fuzz Face
Distor tion can be powered by
one 9-volt battery (remove bottom
plate to install), an adapter such
as the ECB003, or the MXR
DC Brick™ and Iso-Brick™
power supplies.
