The Geezer Butler Cry Baby Wah is
powered by one 9-volt battery (accessed
via the bottom of the pedal), an AC adapter
such as the Dunlop ECB003, or the MXR
DC Brick™ and Iso-Brick™ power supplies.

INTERNAL CONTROLS

• Q knob adjusts frequency width of
wah effect

AUTO-RETURN DELAY sets how
long effect rings out after rocker
returns to heel position

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

• Run an instrument cable from your
guitar to the GZR95’s INSTRUMENT
jack and another instrument cable from
the GZR95’s AMPLIFIER jack into your
amplifier’s input.

• The GZR95 is bypassed (turned off)
whenever your foot is off the pedal.
To turn it on, simply press toe of rocker
down with your foot.

•To access internal controls, remove
bottom plate.

• Rotate the Q knob clockwise for a
narrower frequency range and more pro­nounced wah effect or counterclockwise
for a wider frequency range and subtler
wah effect.

• To increase effect ring-out time, remove
bottom plate and rotate AUTO-RETURN
DELAY pot counterclockwise (set to
12 o’clock by default). To decrease
effect ring out time, rotate the
control clockwise.

• Rock your foot back and forth on
the pedal to hear the vocal, expressive
tones that the Cry Baby Wah is
famous for.
