History of DSPPA

DSPPA Audio Co., Ltd. is the leading Public Address / Emergency Broadcast System manufacturer with 15 years designing and manufacturing

Review of DSPPA products

DSPPA Public Address products are widely used in background music system, communication system, and security system. The product range
cover more than 600 types, include public address equipments, amplifiers, column speakers, ceiling speakers, box speakers, MAG Intelligent public
address system, ADR addressable public address system, Network public address system, and Intercom public address system. Besides the

Detailed description of digital systems

In the product group of DSPPA, the following systems possess the most advanced technical ideas in modern public address field:

◆PC10 public address system:
This system includes 21 devices in total with functions such as sound source playing (including CD player, Cassette player, and Tuner), multi-zone

paging, zone monitor, multi-zone distribution, timing playing, siren recording and playing, sound equalizing, build-in program playing, telephone control,
alarm distribution matrix, system startup/closedown sequence control, emergency power supply and DC 24V power supply. The specialties of PC10
system differing from other general public address system including:
a. The whole system can be remotely controlled by a PC connecting through Intranet or Internet.
b. The simple series connection among devices using data line.
c. Powerful timing function with up to 100 points calculating in second unit.
d. Telephone paging and receiving fault message by mobile phone

◆MAG Intelligent public address system:
“Intelligent” system or “computerized” system means the whole system is managed by a PC. Most of Intelligent public address systems are same with

the general ones except for operating though keyboard linking with a common PC. DSPPA MAG Intelligent public address system originates designing
the virtual public address function except for amplifier in one Host. The operation is made on the screen of Host directly.

This system includes Host (touch screen optional), function modules, amplifier, main or standby system switcher, and remote paging microphone. The
Host and modules integrate all the functions of general public address. The Host has a powerful zone distribution matrix in which 8 sound sources can
be distributed to 64 zones simultaneously. The Host also have built-in program supporting continuous playing up to 1 week. Multipoint control
technology allows authorized user manage the remote MAG Host through network. The other functions of Host include supporting 1-4 remote paging
microphone, telephone interface enable remote phone broadcasting and holding a telephone conference, auto fault detect, digital pre-record program
playing, self-editing program through Mic input or inner CD, automatic recover function after the failure of system. This multi-function and small-sized
MAG Intelligent public address system is widely used in the sites with many zones such as shopping mall, station, hotel, and resort village.

◆ Addressable public address system
The advantages of DSPPA ADR public address system that the general public address systems don’t have are listed as following:

a. BUS wiring system, which only need one common group of line (include one audio line and one control line) to connect all speakers in different
zones, can save the cost of project greatly.
b. Up to 100 zones are defined through setting the code for each speaker. Adjusting zones can easily be finished by adjusting the codes without re­wiring.
Base on these advantages, this system is widely used in schools where zones (classrooms) are numerous and always need adjustment while students
move to new classrooms.

This system includes Host, programmable controller, decoder, and speaker (speaker with decoder inside is optional). There are three types of this
system: 2-sound source inputs (1 audio signal & 1 emergency signal) with paging function, 7-sound source inputs (6 audio signals & emergency
signal) with Cat. 5 cable transmission, 17-sound source inputs (16 audio signal & emergency signal) with coaxial cable transmission.
The Host includes the functions of pre amplifier, zone distribution, zone paging and has automatic and volume detection functions for ensuring the
system reliability. The programmable controller can monitor terminal sound pressure level, no need to check terminals on the spot. It also has 100­zone distribution matrix with 12” large screen.

◆ DSPPA Network public address system
The characteristic of this system is changing the conventional public address network to a data network. In the conventional public address network,

signals are transmitted by analog power signals. This system is difficult to satisfy functions as multi-channel transmitting, multi-point control or the
mutual communication. DSPPA network public address system transfers the signal by data network in LAN. Comparing with analog system, this
transferring has less distortion and higher N/S. This fits the trend of combining the data network, visual network, and audio network in the modern
intelligent buildings together.

This system include Host, play terminal, order program terminal, call terminal, and speaker. The Host can broadcast individual program to each zone.
The total number of zone can be 128 and each zone can include 200 speakers at most in which every speaker unit belong to different zone
simultaneously. The Host also has the capacity of telephone remote control, timing playing, zone paging, zone alarm. DSPPA Play terminal, order
program terminal and call terminal can connect with the system at any place through LAN. They can broadcast programs, paging and alarm signals
from Host. They also can accept the paging signal from paging microphones in the system. Except for these functions, order program terminal and
call terminal can choose and play different sound sources in Host. Call terminal also can paging to any speaker in LAN.

◆ DSPPA Intercom public address system
This system is composed by Intercom Router, Remote interphone and intercom switcher. 1-100 mutual communication interphones can be formed by

4 system group combination. The furthest transmitting distance can be 1000 meters. Remote Interphone combines microphone having built-in chimes
with input and output port. It also has feedback restraining circuit inside. Through combination with common public address system, the interphone
can work as individual zone paging and broadcasting, remote sound monitor, and self address. Any one interphone can connect with any other ones
and compose one group of intercom public address system in which the source interphone becomes the center. In the course of addressing, this
center can invite others to join or exit the system. The interphones in the system can be divided into three grades of priority. The interphone at first
grade can join, exit or cancel any addressing in any group.
