Jede Handhabung an dem Gerät setzt die genaue Kenntnis und
Beachtung dieser Gebrauchsanweisung voraus.
Das Gerät ist nur für die beschriebene Verwendung bestimmt.
Instandhaltung
Das Gerät muss halbjährlich Inspektionen und Wartungen durch
Fachleute unterzogen werden (mit Protokoll).
Instandsetzungen am Gerät nur durch Fachleute.
Für den Abschluss eines Service-Vertrags sowie für Instandsetzungen empfehlen wir den DrägerService.
Bei Instandhaltung nur Original-Dräger-Teile verwenden.

Any use of the instrument requires full understanding and strict
observation of these instructions.
The instrument is only to be used for the purposes specified herein.
Maintenance
The instrument must be inspected and serviced regularly by trained
service personnel at six monthly intervals (and a record kept).
Repair of the instrument may only be carried out by trained service
personnel.
We recommend that a service contract be obtained with DrägerService and that all repairs also be carried out by them.
Only authentic Dräger spare parts may be used for maintenance.

Only the accessories specified in the order list may be used.

Verwendungszweck
Intended use
Zur schnellen Messung der Atemalkoholkonzentration –
zum Beispiel zur Diagnose von Gefäßverletzungen in der Urologie bei
transurethralen Prostataresektionen, TUR–P, oder in der Gynäkologie
bei transcervicalen Resektionen des Endometriums, TCRE, nach vorheriger Applikation einer Ethanol-haltigen Spüllösung, bei der Notfallaufnahme zum Testen von Patienten auf vorherigen Alkoholkonsum,
oder zur Feststellung von Alkohol-Beigebrauch vor der Methadonsubstitution.
Keine Mobiltelefone innerhalb einer Entfernung von 10 Metern
zum Gerät benutzen.
Mobiltelefone und tragbare oder mobile HF-Kommunikationseinrichtungen können die Funktion elektromedizinischer Geräte
stören und den Patienten gefährden!*

For rapid measurement of breath alcohol concentration –
for example for diagnosis of vascular injuries in the urology during
transurethral resections of the prostata, TUR–P, or in the gynaecology
during transcervical resections of the endometrium, TCRE, after previous application of an ethanol containing rinsing solution, at the
emergency reception area for testing patients for previous alcohol
consumption, or for the detection of alcohol consumption before

Preparation
Batterien einsetzen
Vor erstmaligem Einsatz oder wenn das
Batteriesymbol in der Anzeige auf "leer"
steht.
Nur für NiMH-Akkus
NiMH-Akkus können durch eine spezielle
Stromquelle im Alcotest 6810 med geladen
werden.
● Hierzu das Ladegerät (siehe Seite 36) mit
der Lade- / Kommunikationsbuchse verbinden.
— Während des Ladevorgangs pulsiert die
Batterieanzeige von leer nach voll.
Achtung: Nur das in der Bestell-Liste,
Seite 36, angegebene Ladegerät verwenden.
Ausschließlich NiMH-Akkus laden.

● Mundstück aus der Verpackung nehmen.
Aus hygienischen Gründen Mundkontaktbereich durch Verpackung geschützt

Performing the Measurement
Voraussetzungen
— Für jede Testperson ist ein neues Mundstück einzusetzen.
— Keine Alkohol- und Lösungsmitteldämpfe (Desinfektionsmittel) in
der Umgebungsluft.
— Keine hohen Alkoholkonzentrationen auf den Sensor geben, z.B.
durch Spülen des Mundes mit hochprozentigen Alkoholika kurz
vor der Messung. Hierdurch verringert sich die Lebensdauer des
Sensors.
— Mindestens 10 Meter Abstand zu Antennen von Mobiltelefonen
und zu Sendeanlagen einhalten.
Anforderungen an die Testperson
— Wartezeit mindestens 15 Minuten nach der letzten Alkoholauf-
nahme in den Mund!
Restalkohol im Mund kann die Messung verfälschen. Auch bei
aromatischen Getränken (z.B. Fruchtsaft), alkoholischen Mundsprays, medizinischen Säften und Tropfen und nach Aufstoßen
und Erbrechen können Verfälschungen auftreten. Auch in diesen
Fällen eine Wartezeit von mindestens 15 Minuten einhalten. Eine
Mundspülung mit Wasser oder nichtalkoholischen Getränken verkürzt die Wartezeit nicht!
— Die Testperson soll vor der Probenahme normal und ruhig atmen.
Schnelles Ein- und Ausatmen durch den Mund ist zu vermeiden.
Conditions
— A new mouthpiece is to be used for every person tested.
— No alcohol and solvent vapours (disinfectants) in the ambient air.
— Do not apply too high alcohol concentrations to sensor, e.g. by rin-
sing the mouth with high-grade alcohols shortly before the measurement. By doing so the sensor lifetime is reduced.
— Keep at a distance of at least 10 meters from the antennas of
mobile phones and transmitting stations.
Requirements of the person to be tested
— Maintain a waiting period of at least 15 minutes after drinking
alcohol!
Residual alcohol in the mouth can distort the measurement. Such
residues may be left by aromatic drinks (e.g. fruit juice), mouth
sprays containing alcohol, medicines and drops, as well as by burping and vomiting. In this case, wait for 15 minutes, too. Rinsing
the mouth with water or non-alcoholic drinks does not reduce this
waiting period!
— Before sampling the person to be tested must breathe normally.
Quick inhaling and exhaling through the mouth must be avoided.

abgegeben hat und das Ende der Atemprobe
vom Gerät erkannt wurde.
