Precaution Warnings before beginning
Use of ROLA direct mount system with bolts is intended
for fiberglass top installations.
Install requires drilling and permanent installation of
tracks.
Installation requires some tools and skill. If concerned
please have professionally installed.
Placement of Track Rails onto Vehicle surface (truck shell shown)
Assemble cross bars to desired width
and attach to adapter bases
Remove covers from adapter
bases if attached.

CAUTION
Caution- never exceed the load rating for your
vehicle (contact manufacturer for details), or
that of your cross bar system which ever is
lower.
Align cross bars on vehicle in desired
position. Consider accessory spacing
and potential underside interference

Preparing fiberglass surface for mounting
Mark mounting holes with fine
tip marker or pencil
Important- Use drill stops or wrap
masking tape around the drill bits to
ensure drilling no deeper than ¼”
below truck cap
Once aligned correctly tape
adapters to surface. Carefully
remove cross bars.
Install M5 x 35mm bolts and
nylon washers through adapter
and rubber gasket and into the
fiberglass mounting holes.
Firmly secure bolts with hex
Apply a generous amount of
silicone around holes before
wrench.
Be sure to install M6 hex nut
into bottom of adapter.
Attaching Cross Bars and tightening hardware
Note: wear safety glasses
during installation. Drill 1/8”
pilot hole first, then drill ¼”
size holes. Never drill deeper
than ¼”. Note- not advisable
to drill through adapters.

Blow away any debris.
Bolts may be covered with
protector caps if desired.
Re-Install cross bars onto adapter bases
and tighten anchor point screws firmly
into adapter nuts
ROLA carries a variety of cross bar styles and lengths to attach to our direct mounting kits. Cross Bars are sold with
mounting hardware.
Any weight carried on the vehicle will adversely affect its handling particularly in cornering or in a cross wind and the vehicle should
therefore be driven with increased caution. Check the function of all doors and sunroof before driving.
