1. General Information
Ensure these ear defenders are tted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with these
instructions, and regularly inspected for serviceability. Ear defenders should be worn at all times
in noisysurroundings.
Important: The tting of hygiene covers to the cushions may aect the acoustic performance of the ear defenders. Glasses and hair trapped between the cushions and the ear may also
aectperformance.
2. Fitting and Adjustment
Position the ear defender cups at the bottom of the slots in the headband. Fit the cups over the ears with a vertical orientation and slide the headband down until it touches the top of the head.
The headband may need to be tightened during prolongeduse.
3. Maintenance and Storage
This product should oer adequate protection for two to three years. During transportation or when not in use, store the product in a container out of direct sunlight, away from chemicals and abrasive substances, and so that it cannot be damaged by hard surfaces. Clean the cushions with warm soapy water after use; do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Ear defenders, and in particular cushions, may deteriorate with use and should be examined at frequent intervals for
cracking and leakage, for example. Quote the stock number when ordering; tting instructions are supplied with replacementparts.
Important: If an allergic reaction occurs from skin contact with this product, move to a quieter
area and remove the eardefenders.
