1. Before using the light for the first time, ensure it is fully charged and the switch on the back panel is ‘ON’.
2. Turn light on by simply sliding the switch located on the front of the light to the top position (left tube), second position (right tube) or lowest position (two tubes).

CHARGING
GUARANTEE
Draper electric lights have been carefully tested and inspected before shipment and are guaranteed to be free from defective materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase except where tools are hired out when the guarantee period is reduced to ninety days from the date of purchase.
Should the light develop any fault, please return the complete item to your nearest authorized warranty repair agent or contact Draper Tools Limited, Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, Hampshire. SO53 1YF. England. Telephone: (01703) 266355.
If upon inspection it is found that the fault occurring is due to defective materials or workmanship, repairs will be carried out free of charge. This guarantee does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any damage caused by misuse, careless or unsafe handling, alterations, accident, or repairs attempted or made by any personnel other than the authorized Draper warranty repair agent.
This guarantee applies in lieu of any other guarantee expressed or implied and variations of its terms are not authorized.
Your Draper guarantee is not effective unless you can produce upon request a dated receipt or invoice to verify your proof of purchase within the 12 month period.
Please note that this guarantee is an additional benefit and does not effect your statutory rights.
Fluorescent tubes are a consumable and are not covered by this guarantee.
DRAPER TOOLS LIMITED.
1. To charge light, insert plug on the end of mains charger lead into socket located on side of light. Plug mains adaptor charger into 220-240V mains supply socket and switch on power supply. A red light on front of unit should light.
2. For emergency function in the event of a power failure, if switch is at the ‘ON’ position during charging procedure the light will automatically illuminate to provide emergency lighting and return to charge when A/C current is restored.
3. Night light illuminator will be visible when light is stored/charged in a dark environment.
REPLACING TUBES
1. Ensure that the power supply is disconnected and the light switch is in ‘OFF’ position.
2. Unscrew the lens cover(s), tilt the lens, and slide off.
3. Rotate tube(s) until prongs align with gap in contact covers. Lift tube(s) and fit replacement(s). Replacement tubes are available – quote Stock No. 57793, Part No.YRFL 610.
4. Replace lens cover(s).
MAINTENANCE
1.When light goes off suddenly during use, recharge immediately.
2.You should leave light on charge whenever it is not in use.
3. Always recharge after use, if not on constant charge you should recharge especially when not used for over three months or longer.
4. Do not drop. Store securely when transporting.
5. Ensure light is secure and stable when wall mounted or using folding stand/hanging hook.
