The packaging material should be retained at least during the guarantee period: in case the
machine needs to be returned for repair.
Warning! Some of the packaging materials used may be harmful to children. Do not leave any of
these materials in the reach of children.
If any of the packaging is to be thrown away, make sure they are disposed of correctly; according
to local regulations.
7.2 WHAT´S IN THE BOX?
As well as the pump; there are several parts not fitted or attached to it.
The pump should be installed standing
vertically in the liquid to be pumped. If the
liquid is clean with no debris the pump can
be placed at the bottom of the container and
pumping can commence (see fig.2).
If however there is any debris in the liquid to
be pumped you must place the pump on a
stable level surface situated so as to avoid
the pump sucking up any debris and
potentially damaging or jamming the pump.
Once the pump is installed into the liquid to
be pumped care must be used in the
position chosen for the placement of the
battery power source, the battery should be
located on a safe, stable and level surface
away from the liquid that is being pumped.
Care must also be exercised in making sure
that the power on/off switch is not
positioned so that it may get wet and / or
have liquids interfere with its operation.
CAUTION
During use the level of the fluid being
pumped should be monitored.
Failure to monitor the fluid level can result in
an insufficient fluid level for pumping to
continue, resulting in the motor racing and
damage to the pump. The minimum fluid
level required for pumping is 40mm.
