WARRANTY AND SPECIFICATIONS

DMM806 VIDEO DEMODULATOR (SYSTEM)
THREE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
R.L. DRAKE HOLDINGS LLC warrants to the original purchaser this product shall be free fro m defects in material or workmanship for
three (3) years from the date of original purchase.
During the warranty period R.L. DRAKE HOLDINGS LLC or an authorized Drake service facility will provide, free of charge, both parts
and labor necessary to correct defects in material and workmanship. At its option, R.L. DRAKE HOLDINGS LLC may replace a
defective unit.
To obtain such a warranty service, the original purchaser must:
1. Retain invoice or original proof of purchase to establish the start of the warranty period.
2. Notify R.L. DRAKE HOLDINGS LLC or the nearest authorized service facility, as soon as possible after discovery of a possible
defect, of:
3. Deliver the product to R.L. DRAKE HOLDINGS LLC or the nearest authorized service facility, or ship the same in its original
container or equivalent, fully insured and shipping charges prepaid.
Correct maintenance, repair, and use are important to obtain proper performance from this product. Therefore carefully read the
Instruction Manual. This warranty does not apply to any defect that R.L. DRAKE HOLDINGS LLC determines is due to:
All implied warranties, if any, including warranties of merchantability and tness for a particular purpose, terminate three (3) years from
the date of the original purchase.
The foregoing constitutes R.L. DRAKE HOLDINGS LLC'S entire obligation with respect to this product, and the original purchaser shall
have no other remedy and no claim for incidental or consequential damages, losses or expenses. Some states do not allow limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusions or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation and exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. This warranty shall be
construed under the laws of Ohio.

DRAKE MINI-RACK
The R .L. Drake D MM 806 is a profess iona l
quality agile television channel demodulator
that provides an audio and video output from
any VH F, UHF, or C ATV channel
(54 - 806 MHz) . The modular design of the
DMM 806 permits convenient pairing with a
Drake Mini-rack Video Modulator to perform
o-air or C ATV channel processing.
As previously desc ribed, channel selection
and audio/video output level controls are
located on the front panel. The R F Input is
through a n “F ” type connector loca ted on the
rea r pane l. T he rear pa nel V ideo Output is
als o a n “F ” type connector. The Audio O utpu
is through a rear panel R C A type phono
connector. T he unit is powered by a
compatible Drake Mini-rack power supply

All connections to and from the DMM 806 are
made through the rea r pan el. Figure 3
illustrates the use of the D MM 806 a s an oair channel processo r. F or this purpose, the
feed from a television antenna is connected
via a 75 Ohm coaxial cable to the R F IN
connector of the DMM 806 . T he front panel
is set for “U” and the received TV channel
number is set for 02 through 69 as required.

125 as required. Additional channels can be
processed by adding combinations of
DMM 806 units with Drake Mini-rack Video
Modulator units .
R ACK MOUNTING
Adequate ventilation is very important in
multi-channel installation s. Units should be
space d a part by at least one pan el height
wherever possi ble, and some air movement
is advisa ble in enclosed rack cabinets .
Excessi ve heat will sho rten component life
and system performance will be de graded
without proper cooling.
