Downee mhouse SL1s Short Instructions

SL1S
SLIDE MOTOR
The SL1s suits residential gates up to 5m long, weighing up to 400kg
(e󰀨ective gate weight).
Automation only works if the gate
is in good condition, runs freely for the full length.
MOTOR POSITION
The motor needs to sit on a solid footing on the opening side of the gate. The edge of the base plate should be 50mm from the inside of the gate.
GATE
Secure the motor with 100mm M8 dyna-bolts. It’s crucial that the motor cannot move. If uneven, the motor can be levelled up by adjustment of the allen-headed bolts in each corner of the motor.
GEAR RACK
Unlock the motor with the release-key.
1.
Lay the gear-rack on the ground next to the gate. Check that the mounting points of the gear-rack
2.
are not positioned so that conict with the wheels of the gate, and the ends of the gear-rack are
supported on the gate.
Fix the gear-rack to the gate, one length at a time, using the motor as a guide for the height.
3.
Leave a play of 1 mm between the rack and the pinion so that the gate does not weigh on the gear.
(not supplied)
Once the full length of the gear-rack is attached, manually move the gate backwards and for-
4.
wards to check that there are no tight or lose sections on the gear-rack, and adjust accordingly.
If you are installing a full kit, connect any other devices as shown in the Installation Instructions.
