INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

BAG INSTALLATION: 50030-00 Universal Luggage System

WARNING

This system is recommended for use with a sissy bar/backrest and luggage rack combination which is permanently attached to
the motorcycle.
Do not exceed the manufactures recommended load capacity.
Consult your owner’s manual for tire inflation pressuers and gross axle weight rating. Failure to follow recommended weight
loading capacities may affect handling. This could result in property damage, injury and possibly death.

1. PREPARATION
▶ Tools required: scissors
▶ Place motorcycle on a secure & level surface

2. INSTALLATION – Jumbo Backpack Installation
▶ Open horizonal hook & loop straps on rear of the bag.
▶ Place Jumbo Backpack on luggage rack.
▶ Loop the straps around the sissy bar/backrest in a way that is secure.
▶ Locate the 2 long straps & attach them to the lower D-rings on the front of the bag.
▶ Loop these straps around the directional indicator bar or other secure mounting location below the bag, & then attach the other

end to the lower D-rings on the back of the bag; the clips can be individually tightened by pulling on the loose ends.

▶ Excess strap material should be knotted.

Note:
Backpack may be carried on the shoulders while not riding by connecting the long straps to the 4 D-rings on the back of the bag.

3. INSTALLATION – Roll Bag
▶ Open horizontal hook & loop straps on the rear of the bag.
▶ Place roll bag on luggage rack.
▶ Loop the straps around the sissy bar/backrest in a way that is secure.
▶ Locate the 2 long straps & attach them to the lower D-rings on the front of the bag.
▶ Loop these straps around the directional indicator bar or other secure mounting location below the bag, & then attach the other
ends to the lower D-rings on the back of the bag; the clips can be individually tightened by pulling on the loose ends.
▶ Excess strap material should be knotted.

4. INSTALLATION – Backpack with Roll Bag on top
▶ Install Backpack using the previous directions.
▶ Place Roll Bag above the Backpack.
▶ Use the 4 short straps to connect the corresponding D-rings in each of the 4 corners. The clips can be indidually tightened by
pulling on the loose ends.
▶ For added security, there is also two side straps on the Roll Bag that loop through clips on the Backpack.

Bungee Net
▶ May be used for additional storage of clothing or other articles which may need to be accessible during riding.
Place articles on top of packs & secure with net by attaching hooks to the D-rings provided.

CAUTION – Hooks are under tension & may become dangerous when unfastened. Use extreme care when removing.

Care & Cleaning
▶ This product is suppied with a gasoline and scratch resistant neoprene layer. However, care should be taken to avoid gas
spill and a heavy buildup of dust and/or dirt under the harness. Excessive dust and/or dirt may become embedded in the
neoprene which may lead to scratches in the painted finish. Wiping with a mild bike wash detergent and applying a good quality
was will reduce the chance of scratching. Remove the bags before washing the bike. Use a mild detergent and so brush to
remove dirt or road grime form bags. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry before using. Do not put in washer or dryer. Dry
cleaning is not recommended.
