Installation

Read instructions before using.

Unfold cover. Locate “BACK” tag.

Starting in the front wheel area, pull down over the
windshield and over the centerline of the wheel.

Working rearward, slide the cover down the sides,
avoiding “snag” points. Care should also be taken
to avoid placing the material against hot engine
components, as burning or melting may occur.

Caution: Mirrors, muffler ends, shifters, brakes and
foot pegs are common wear points. Do not allow
fabric to “snag” around them. Antennas are capable
of puncturing the cover – use extreme care.

Important

Wait for the motorcycle to cool-down before
installing the cover. This will greatly increase the life
of your cover. Grommet patches are provided to
enable you to secure the cover under the
motorcycle.

Care and Cleaning

Your cover requires very little maintenance. Normal
dirt and grime should be brushed off with a soft terry
cloth or removed with warm water and a mild
detergent using a sponge or terry cloth.

Caution: Do not place in washing machine and do
not wring or twist the cover to remove moisture.

The fabric may fade in direct sunlight after continu­ous use. This is normal wear.

Important

Failure to comply with the above directions may
reduce the life of your cover. If you have any
questions or comments, please contact either your
dealer or DOWCO Inc.

Congratulations on your purchase of a DOWCO Inc. motorcycle cover. The PVC storage cover is manu­factured from 100% PVC vinyl and is intended for indoor or outdoor storage. Your cover is 100% water­proof and includes grommets in the hem to facilitate the use of a locking device. This feature keeps the
cover tight around the wheels. The following information should be used to ensure maximum longevity.

Note: All DOWCO Inc. covers are sized to fit specific motorcycles. It is very important that you have the
correct one for your application. If you are uncertain as to what size PVC cover you need, please contact
your dealer or DOWCO Inc. to verify your fit before attempting first-time use.

Note: This cover is not designed for covering your motorcycle while it is being trailered or in the

back of a pick-up truck.
