Care and Use Instructions

Hydration Bladder

Please Read! Please read and understand these instructions completely before installa-

tion to avoid possible injury to yourself, or damage to the accessory or vehicle. Read all
Cautions, Warnings and Notes within installation instructions and on bags. If you are
unsure about securing the bladder, please contact us at 1-800-558-7755 ext. 123.

1. PARTS LIST:

This Product contains the following components. Before beginning installation confirm there are no
missing or damaged components.

2. PREPARATION:

a. Before using your Guardian Hydration bladder for the

first time, rinse out the inner bladder using clean
water. This will help remove any plastic taste from
the material.

b. We recommend filling the bladder only with water as

other liquids may leave lingering tastes and odors.

c. To fill the bladder, unscrew the large fill cap at the

top and fill with water.

d. When the bladder is full, secure the cap tightly to

prevent liquid from escaping.

3. INSTALLATION:

a. Bladder can be used with many different bags. We recommend using it with the Tank Bag of the

Fastrax Elite Sport Bike Luggage.

b. To install the bladder into the Tank Bag you must open the lid of the Tank Bag.
c. Once open you will find a compartment located in the lid. Unzip to open. (Fig 1)
d. Unscrew the tube from the Hydration Bladder. (Fig. 2)

* Keep out of the reach of infants and small children.
* Hydration Bladder is to be used ONLY when bike is

parked!

4. CARE AND CLEANING: (Remove from motorcycle)

a. To clean the inner bladder, simply fill with fresh warm water, shake vigorously, and drain.
b. To eliminate odors from the inner bladder, fill with fresh water and add a tablespoon of baking soda.

Let sit overnight and then drain and rinse with warm water.

c. To sanitize the inner bladder, fill with warm water and add two teaspoons of bleach. Let sit overnight

and then drain and rinse thoroughly with warm water.

d. When not using the hydration system, remove the inner bladder and drain all remaining liquid.

Leave large fill cap open and hang the bladder upside-down if possible to allow moisture to evapo­rate out.

e. Thread the tubing through the large access port located at the top of the lid. (Figs. 3 & 4)
f. Reconnect the tube and mouthpiece to the bladder.
g. Place the bladder into the lid and zip the lid compartment closed. (Fig. 5)

Check for leaks before every use.
