WEATHERMATE™ Sill Pan is a translucent, molded polymer sill pan for fl ashing the base of windows. The innovative two-piece construction can be adjusted to fi t most windowsill widths, providing a continuous shield against water infi ltration, even in sill corners. Properties
WEATHERMATE™ Sill Pan is sold as a two-piece assembly that includes a right-corner piece and a left­corner piece. The integrated corner design provides another layer of protection against water intrusion. And the two pieces facilitate easy adjustment to fi t most windowsill widths. WEATHERMATE
Sill Pan works best when the windowsill is sloped to the exterior. Shims, if necessary, should be placed underneath WEATHERMATE
Sill Pan.

1. Position one piece of
Sill Pan along the base of window rough opening, lapping over water-resistive barrier (Figure 1).
2. Press fi rmly against corner of window opening. Nail or staple in place, following embossed instructions on product (Figure 2).

3. Position second piece, overlapping fi rst piece by a minimum of 2" (51 mm). Press second piece fi rmly into corner of window opening. Nail or staple in place, following embossed instructions on product (Figure 3).

For window openings wider than 5' (1.5 m), install WEATHERMATE Pan in corners, then cut the corner off a third piece. Center this straight length over the two corner pieces, overlapping each side a minimum of 2" (51 mm).

4. Seal overlap seam and top edge of corner pieces with
WEATHERMATE (Figure 4).

5. Install and fl ash window according to manufacturer instructions.

6. Air seal windows around entire interior perimeter with GREAT STUFF PRO

Dow Polyurethane Foam Insulation and Sealants
CAUTION: When cured, these products are combustible and will burn if exposed to open fl ame or sparks from high-energy sources. Do not expose to temperatures above 240ºF (116ºC). GREAT STUFF PRO™ Insulating Foam Sealants contain isocyanate and a fl ammable blowing agent. Read the labels and Material Safety Data Sheets carefully before use. Eliminate all sources of ignition before use. Wear long sleeves, gloves, and goggles or safety glasses. Provide adequate ventilation or wear proper respiratory protection. Contents under pressure.
Building and/or construction practices unrelated to building materials could greatly affect moisture and the potential for mold formation. No material supplier including Dow can give assurance that mold will not develop in any specifi c system.
