IMPORTANT: The National Fuel Gas Code (ANSI Z223.1) requires each outlet, including a valve, be closed gas tight with a threaded plug or cap immediately after installation and until equipment is connected, and when equipment is disconnected from an outlet and the outlet is not to be used again immediately.

• Easy and safe operation. When the manual valve is in the closed (OFF) position, to make a connection, the user simply pushes back the locking sleeve, inserts the appliance connector plug, and releases the sleeve. No tools are required for a leak-tight connection.

• Gas flows when the manual valve handle is turned to the open (ON) position.

• An interlocking safety cam prevents release of the appliance connector plug until the manual valve handle is in the closed (OFF) position.

• Capacity–42,000 BTU/HR. minimum at 0.3'' w.c. pressure drop; 0.64 SG., natural gas.

• National Fuel Gas Code Reference 5.5.6.

• Temperature Protected—Built-in thermal protection prevents gas flow if the gas connection is exposed to temperatures in excess of 200°F.

• To be used with Natural or Propane Gas.
