Installing Your SIM Card

The SIM card is provided by your telecom service provider, it contains your basic data. For example the phone number and address book. Before inserting the card, make sure that the phone power is turned off. If the SIM card is not inserted, then the communication function cannot be used.

1. Open the battery cover: Hold the phone in one hand, front side facing down and place in middle of palm.

Slide the battery cover in the direction as indicated in the illustration.

2. Insert SIM card: Insert into slot with SIM card gold contacts facing down. Gently push the

battery into position. Replace the SIM card.

To remove the SIM card, gently push the SIM card’s bottom to slide it out of the slot. Replace the SIM card.

Powering-on the Phone

You can press and hold the red End Call button to turn on the phone. You can also press & hold the same button to turn off the phone.

Sync the Phone with the Computer

Befor e connect ing the p hone to t he computer, pleas e install the Micr osoft Act iveSync® and Micro soft Offi ce Outloo k® applic ations from the Companion CD firs t. Please refer to sections 9.2 and 9 .3 in User Manual for d etailed d escriptio ns.
