2.1 General safety

Do not operate the cooling device if it is visibly damaged.

If this cooling device's power cable is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified person in
order to prevent safety hazards.

This cooling device may only be repaired by qualified personnel.
Improper repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
•
This cooling device can be used by children aged 8 years or over, as
well as by persons with diminished physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge, providing they are
supervised or have been taught how to use the cooling device safely
and are aware of the resulting risks.

The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or
materials containing solvents.

The insulation of the cooling device contains flammable cyclopentane
and requires special disposal procedures. Deliver the cooling device
at the end of its life-cycle to an appropriate recycling.

2.2 Operating the cooling device safely

Before starting the cooling device, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
NOTICE!

Do not use electrical devices inside the cooling device unless they are
recommended by the manufacturer for the purpose.
•
Do not place the cooling device near naked flames or other heat
sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
•
Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is a minimum of 50 mm ventilation on all
four sides of the cooling device. Keep the ventilation area free of any
objects that could restrict the air flow to the cooling components.
Do not place the cooling device in closed compartments or areas with
none or minimal air flow.
•
Ensure that the ventilation openings are not covered.
•
Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluids.
•
Never immerse the cooling device in water.
•
Protect the cooling device and the cable against heat and moisture.

4Use as intended
The refrigerator can be used to cool and keep foodstuffs warm. The device can be
also used for camping purposes.
If you want to cool medicine, check please if the cooling capacity of the device
corresponds to the requirements of the respective pharmaceuticals.
All materials processed in the refrigerator are safe for foodstuffs.
5 Technical description
The cooling box is suitable for mobile use. It can cool goods up to max. 25 °C under
ambient temperature (thermostatic switch-off with approx. 0 °C) or keep them cool
or warm them up to max. 65 °C or keep them warm.
If the device has reached the set temperature range, then it will automatically switch
over to the energy save mode. In this mode only the energy is consumed which is
required to reach the temperature inside the box.
The cooling is a wear-free thermo-electric cooler with heat removal through a
ventilator.
The cooling box is equipped with an automatic priority circuit. Thus it is ensured
that with simultaneous connection to the alternating current circuit and to a
12/24 V-battery, the alternating current circuit will be used.

6.1 Tips to save energy

Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against direct
sunlight.
•
If you want to set an increased energy efficiency and a limited cooling capacity for
the cooler device, use the device’s ECO mode.
•
Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the cooling device to
keep cool.
•
Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
•
Do not leave the cooling device open for longer than necessary.
Before you put the new refrigerator into operation, you should clean it
inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons (see also
chapter “Cleaning and servicing” on page 14).
NOTE
A ventilator in the interior space of the cooling box provides for the
circulation of the cold air within the box. Thus a better cooling capacity
will be achieved. In order that the cold air cannot reach the outside
when opening the cooling box, this is equipped with a switch which
turns off the ventilator as soon as the lid is opened.

The TC35 cooler must be unlocked for opening (fig. 4, page 4).

➤ Place the cooling box on a stable base.

– with the connecting cable contained in the scope of delivery to a 220 – 240 V
– with the supplied connecting cable to the 12/24 V socket in the vehicle
➤ Press the button “ON/OFF” at the control panel (fig. 2 A, page 4) to switch on
the cooling box.
✓ The cooling box starts to cool or heat the interior space.
Take care that there are only objects or goods in the cooling box which
may be cooled or heated to the selected temperature.
NOTE
The plug is safe against wrong polarity: You can plug it only in one
direction into the (fig. 3, page 4) socket.

6.4 Switch over between cooling and heating
➤ If you want to switch over between cooling and heating, press the button
“HOT/COLD” (fig. 2 D, page 4).
NOTE

✓ The red or blue operating display lights up and the device starts to cool/heat.
➤ When you want to finish the cooling or heating process, press the button
“ON/OFF” (fig. 2 A, page 4).
➤ When you stop using the cooler, disconnect it from the mains.

The control unit of the cooling box has a memory function. It memorises
the selected temperature range for each mode (cooling and heating).
Thus the temperature range which is previously selected in the mode is
set again with each switching on or switching over.

6.5 Select temperature
The status display of the temperature (fig. 2 F, page 4) indicates the selected
temperature range. With an increasing number of illuminating LEDs, the intensity of
the temperature range also increases.

6.6 Connect to the cigarette lighter
NOTE

When you connect the cooling box to the cigarette lighter of your
vehicle (fig. 3, page 4), observe that you have to turn on the ignition, if
necessary, so that the device is supplied with current.
6.7 Removing the lid
You can remove the lid of the cooler (fig. 5, page 5):
➤ Open the lid until it is at a ca. 30° angle to the cooler.
➤ Pull the lid forwards and lift it off diagonally.

➤ Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.
➤ Make sure that the air inlet and outlet vents on the device are free of any dust and
dirt, so that heat can be released and the device is not damaged.
Always disconnect the device from the power supply before you clean
and service it.
NOTICE! Risk of damage

Never clean the cooler under running water or in dish water.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning
as these can damage the cooler.

➤ Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wherever
possible.

2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Kühlgerätes

trocken sind.

Benutzen Sie keine Elektrogeräte innerhalb des Kühlgerätes, außer
wenn diese Elektrogeräte vom Hersteller dafür empfohlen werden.

Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen oder
anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.

Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme ausreichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Kühlgerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wänden oder Gegenständen

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt

Prüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes, ob alle zum Lieferumfang gehörenden
Teile vorhanden sind.
4 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Kühlgerät eignet sich zum Kühlen und Warmhalten von Lebensmitteln. Das
Gerät ist auch für Camping-Zwecke geeignet.
Falls Sie Medikamente kühlen wollen, überprüfen Sie bitte, ob die Kühlleistung des
Gerätes den Anforderungen der jeweiligen Arzneimittel entspricht.
Alle im Kühlgerät verarbeiteten Materialien sind unbedenklich für Lebensmittel.
5 Technische Beschreibung
Die Kühlbox ist für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet. Sie kann Waren bis max. 25 °C
unter Umgebungstemperatur abkühlen (thermostatische Abschaltung bei ca. 0 °C)
bzw. kühl halten oder auf max. 65 °C erwärmen bzw. warm halten.
Hat das Gerät den eingestellten Temperaturbereich erreicht, so wird automatisch in
den Energiesparmodus umgeschaltet. In diesem Modus wird ausschließlich die
Energie verbraucht, die zum Erhalten der Temperatur im Inneren der Box benötigt
wird.
Die Kühlung ist eine verschleißfreie Peltierkühlung mit Wärmeabfuhr durch einen
Lüfter.
Die Kühlbox verfügt über eine automatische Vorrangschaltung. So wird sichergestellt, dass – bei gleichzeitigem Anschluss an das Wechselstromnetz und an eine
12/24 V-Batterie – das Wechselstromnetz genutzt wird.

6.1 Tipps zum Energiesparen

Wählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen geschützten Einsatzort.
•
Wenn Sie eine erhöhte Energieeffizienz und eine begrenzte Kühlleistung für das
Kühlgerät einrichten wollen, nutzen Sie den ECO-Modus des Kühlgerätes.
•
Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie im Kühlgerät kühl halten.
•
Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht häufiger als nötig.
•
Lassen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht länger offen als nötig.
Bevor Sie das neue Kühlgerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie es aus
hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem feuchten Tuch

HINWEIS
Ein Lüfter im Innenraum der Kühlbox sorgt für die Umwälzung der kalten
Luft innerhalb der Box, wodurch eine bessere Kühlleistung erzielt wird.
Damit die kalte Luft beim Öffnen der Kühlbox nicht nach außen gelangt,
ist diese mit einem Schalter ausgerüstet, der den Lüfter ausschaltet,
sobald der Deckel geöffnet wird.
6.2 TC35: Kühlbox öffnen
Die Kühlbox TC35 muss beim Öffnen entriegelt werden (Abb. 4, Seite 4).
6.3 Kühlbox einschalten

Achten Sie darauf, dass sich nur Gegenstände bzw. Waren in der Kühlbox befinden, die auf die gewählte Temperatur gekühlt bzw. erwärmt

Der Stecker ist verpolungssicher: Sie können ihn nur in einer Richtung in
die Buchse (Abb. 3, Seite 4) stecken.

➤ Schließen Sie die Kühlbox
– mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Anschlusskabel an eine
220 – 240 V-Wechselstromsteckdose an oder …
– mit dem mitgelieferten Anschlusskabel an die 12/24 V-Steckdose im
Fahrzeug (Abb. 3, Seite 4) an.
➤ Drücken Sie die Taste „ON/OFF“ am Bedienpanel (Abb. 2 A, Seite 4) um die
Kühlbox einzuschalten.
✓ Die Kühlbox startet mit dem Kühlen bzw. Heizen des Innenraums:

6.4 Zwischen Kühlen und Heizen umschalten
➤ Wenn Sie zwischen Kühlen und Heizen umschalten möchten, drücken Sie die
Taste „HOT/COLD“ (Abb. 2 D, Seite 4).

Die Steuerung der Kühlbox besitzt eine Memoryfunktion: Sie merkt sich
den gewählten Temperaturbereich für jeden Modus (Kühlen und
Heizen). So wird bei jedem Einschalten bzw. Umschalten der vorher
gewählte Temperaturbereich des jeweiligen Modus eingestellt.
✓ Die rote bzw. blaue Betriebsanzeige leuchtet, und das Gerät beginnt zu
kühlen/heizen.
➤ Wenn Sie den Kühl- bzw. Heizvorgang beenden möchten, drücken Sie die Taste
„ON/OFF“ (Abb. 2 A, Seite 4).
➤ Wenn Sie das Kühlgerät außer Betrieb nehmen, trennen Sie es vom Netz.

6.5 Temperatur wählen
Die Statusanzeige der Temperatur (Abb. 2 F, Seite 4) zeigt den gewählten
Temperaturbereich an. Mit steigender Anzahl an leuchtenden LEDs steigt auch die
Intensität des Temperaturbereichs.

abhängig von der Messposition.

Wenn Sie die Kühlbox an den Zigarettenanzünder Ihres Fahrzeugs
anschließen (Abb. 3, Seite 4), beachten Sie, dass Sie ggf. die
Zündung einschalten müssen, damit das Gerät mit Strom versorgt wird.
6.7 Deckel abnehmen
Sie können den Deckel der Kühlbox abnehmen (Abb. 5, Seite 5):
➤ Öffnen Sie den Deckel so weit, dass er etwa im 30° Winkel zur Box steht.
➤ Ziehen Sie den Deckel nach vorne und heben Sie ihn dann schräg ab.

➤ Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät innen und außen gelegentlich mit einem feuchten
Tuch.
➤ Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Be- und Entlüftungsöffnungen des Kühlgerätes frei
von Staub und Verunreinigungen sind, damit die beim Betrieb entstehende
Wärme abgeführt werden kann und das Kühlgerät keinen Schaden nimmt.
Trennen Sie vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege das Kühlgerät von der
Stromversorgung.
ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!

Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät niemals unter fließendem Wasser oder
gar im Spülwasser.
•
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel oder
harten Gegenstände, da diese das Kühlgerät beschädigen können.
8Entsorgung
➤ Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden
Recycling-Müll.
Wenn Sie das Produkt endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, informieren Sie

mittlere Kontaktstift sauber ist. Wenn Ihr
Kühlboxstecker in der Zigarettenanzünderfassung sehr warm wird, muss
entweder die Fassung gereinigt werden,
oder der Stecker ist möglicherweise nicht
richtig zusammengebaut.
Tauschen Sie die Sicherung des
Anschlusskabels (5 A) aus.
Tauschen Sie die Fahrzeug-Sicherung des
Zigarettenanzünders (üblicherweise 15 A)
aus (Beachten Sie dazu die Betriebsanweisungen zu Ihrem KFZ).
