Ratchet style tool
For applying 3/8" and 5/8" width band clamps
Operating Instructions for the F40 Installation Tool

Push end of clamp into slotted end of clamp tool.
Rotate ratchet wrench to engage clamp end in slot
in winder.

Push ratchet wrench forward with sufcient strokes
until desired tension is obtained.

Grip ratchet wrench and tool together. Push punch
down on lock and strike rm blow with hammer,
thus locking the clamp tension.

Raise punch and while holding wrench and tool
together, rotate tool forward and up against edge of
the lock, breaking off tail piece.

To remove tail piece, rotate wrench until tail is
free from slot in tool. With thumb, slide lever and
remove winder and wrench from tool.

For application of 3/8" wide clamps, swing 3/8"
adapter to forward position and follow steps 1
through 5.
