P Series
Telephone wiring is the single most common
application of lightning protection in the low voltage
industry. While there are new technologies being
created every day, there are some technologies that
don’t change. DITEK’s “P” series is available in 1-8
pair models, and is most commonly found punched
down on 66 blocks for incoming telco and buildingto-building runs. Each pair of protection is
represented by a red and a green lead. Simply
terminate a set of leads for each pair of wiring on
any punch block, and provide a ground to dissipate
excess energy.
