TRAP KLEEN
ENZYME PRODUCING NON-PATHOGENIC AEROBIC & ANAEROBIC BACTERIA
DESCRIPTION
TRAP KLEEN is a USDA authorized concentrated blend of living aerobic and anaerobic bacteria specially selected and adapted for their ability to produce large amounts of amylase, protease, cellulase and lipase enzymes important in degrading common sanitary wastes. The bacteria are considered “new generation” and are impervious to bleach, disinfectants and acids. This product can be used successfully in drains, grease traps and septic tanks to quickly degrade wastes and reduce odors. Contains 300 billion per galon of the following: bacillus subtilis, bacillus amuloliquifaciens, bacillus lichenformis, bacillus megatherium, pseudomonal fluorescens, commomonas terrigena, and bacillius firmus. Note: This product performs best within a ph range of 5.5 – 8.5. Optimal temperature range for maximum effectiveness is 54° – 113°F; effective up to 212°F. Extremes of pH and temperature, as well as wide shifts in either parameters over a short period of time should be avoided. Cold temperatures reduce the effectiveness of the product and no bacteria activity can be expected below 40°F.
APPLICATIONS
This living bacteria is excellent for use in hotels/motels, restaurants, meat markets, homes, schools, institutions, marinas, homes and office buildings. Its uses include grease traps, drain lines, down pipes, porta toilets, recreational vehicles, carpeting, septic tanks and wet wells.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
• Effective. High activity enzymes solubilize grease, fats, proteins and starches.
• Non-acid, non-alkaline, non-corrosive. Will not harm plumbing fixtures or garbage disposals.
• Lessens need for septic tanks, cesspools, and Imhoff tanks.

LABEL INFORMATION
TRAP KLEEN
This product contains 7 strains of non-pathogenic bacteria that produce
enzymes necessary for degradation of soils, organic oils, and food
by-products from grease traps, septic tanks, downpipes, drain lines,
portable toilets, recreational vehicles, sump pumps, marinas, wet wells. Reduces odors and suspended solids. Contains no acid or caustics
and is non-polluting. This product can also be used after treatment
with sulfuric acid drain openers to prevent future clogging and residual hydrogen sulfide odors.
DIRECTIONS: DRAIN LINES AND DOWN PIPES: Use 2 times weekly,
to a maximum of 4 times depending on the usage of the building. Add product in amounts listed below, start on the lowest floor and work up at
the rate of one floor per day. Do not treat the same floor twice. When the
top floor is reached continue treatment for the top floor only. Dosage: 2 oz. per 2 inches of pipe diameter. Frequency: 2 times per week. This product should be used after a sulfuric acid drain opener. This flushes the system completely, activates the natural digestive processes, prevents future clogging and eliminates hydrogen sulfide fumes caused by sulfuric acid.
GREASE TRAPS: For traps with less than 20 cubic feet capacity, add 4-5
oz. daily by pouring in a sink or pipeline closest to the trap. This should be done at night or when the traps are used the least. After adding, flush down with a cup of lukewarm water. For grease traps larger than 20 cubic
feet, add 8-10 oz. daily using the same procedure. SEPTIC TANKS: Add 1 pint per 25 cubic feet capacity for the initial treat-
ment. Thereafter, use 8 oz. per week. This should be poured directly into toilet and flushed. If septic tank has become clogged or odorous, add

1 gallon of product directly to the tank through the manhole.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND BOATS: Add 2 oz. per gallon of water
in hold tank. Thereafter use 1 oz. per gallon as needed. For use at a dump station, use 1 oz. per 50 gallons of tank capacity. Use one pint per week for maintenance. URIC ACID: Remove as much solid matter as possible. Spray area where odor is originating, usually the urinals, toilets, carpets or floor and wall area
around washroom. PRECAUTIONARY NOTE: When using on carpet test
product in an inconspicuous area and allow to dry. If carpet is discolored, contact supplier before using. Do not over saturate carpet. Do not use in combination with any other chemical(s).
PORTA-TOILETS: Add one gallon (4 quarts) directly. Cover the solids
with water to aid digestion.
WASTEWATER PLANTS: Start with 10 gallons of product per 1,000,000
gallons wastewater per 24 hour period. If necessary, increase dosage by 2.5 gallons product per million gallons water until the desired results are achieved.
CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children. Do not take internally. Avoid getting in eyes or open wounds. Keep out of sunlight. Avoid exposure to
extremely hot or boiling water, disinfectants or chlorinated compounds.
