two longer tabs on the adaptor
plate with the rear of the nozzle
guard.Pivottheadaptorplate/hose
upward to latch the two smaller
tabs onthe adaptorplate with the
frontof thenozzleguard.
NOTE:Toremoveadaptorp/ate/hose,push in on the adaptorp/ate/hose
re/easebuttonwhilepivotingtheadaptorplatedownandawayfromtherecta/
nozzleguard.
Wit_ adaptorplate/hoseconnectedto
t_e metal nozzle guard,selectthe
appropriate tool or combination of
toolsto attachto theendofthe hose.
Usethe tools to clean tight
corners and hard to reach
spaces.

With the unit turned off and
unplugged, use a phill!ps
screwddver to remove the
beltdoorscrewlocatedabove
the brushrollwindow.
Dip the belt lifter insidethe belt access
area andhook the beltaroundthe lip of
the beltlifter. Slipthe beltontothe motor
shaft until the belt lifter basemeetsthe
shaft To ensure proper belt placement,
gently turn belt lifter counterclockwise
and remove.Makesurebeltis onshaft
Slidethebeltdoordownandangleout
toremovefrom theuniL
Belt should look like the
illustrationabove.
IMPORTANT:THEBELTWILL
COMEOFFIFNOTPROPERLY
INSTALLED.

Usebeltlifterandholdas shown.

Toremovethebelt,hookthe belt
ontheleft sideof themotorshaft,
turn clockwise andpull the belt
towardsyouto release.
With the new beltproperlylocatedin
the channel on the middle of the
brushroll, slide the brushrol! straight
downintothe uniLNOTE:Makesure
thebmshre//end capsalign with the
tabsinsidethebrushre//housing (see
inset).Brushro//is notsymmetrical,its
orientationisimportant.
Removescrewson bottomof
metalnozzleguardasshown.

Attachthe metalnozzleguard,
ensuringthat tab is engaged
before securing with the
screws.
Removemetalnozzleguardand pul]
brushrolland belt straight out from
unit.
Dipthe belt lifter insidethe belt
access area and hook the belt
aroundthe lip of the belt lifter.
Slip thebelt ontothe motorshaft
untilthebelt lifterbasemeetsthe
shaft. To ensure proper belt
placement,gentlyturn belt lifter
counterclockwiseand remove.
Makesurebeltisonshah
Belt should look like the
illustration above.
IMPORTANT:THE BELTWILL
COMEOFFIFNOTPROPERLY
