NNOOTTEE::
You can still operate while recharging; but the recharging time will be longer.
NNOOTTEE::
The unit should not be left on the AC adapter for long periods of time after battery is fully charged. This could damage the battery. The unit should be played on the internal battery until it is completely drained. If the unit is turned off for a month, charge the battery to retain full efficiency and life. The battery should be completely charged before use when fully discharged, new, or after not being used for a long period of time. Due to the internal clock and IR sensor operation there is a continuous battery drain even while the unit is off. The battery will discharge when not being used.
