This is YOUR Control
Make sure both of the wall switches next to the heater are turned to the On position and the product has been programmed with the times you want heat (see full user instructions). When rst switched on your heaters display
screen will perform an initial start-up test, it will then display a room temperature of 21°C.
1. To Set and Adjust the Room Temperature Turn the selector dial to the left to lower the heat and to
the right to increase the heat.
The screen will go Blue when the temperature is turned
down and Red when it’s turned up.
2. Set your Comfort Level As a guide, the normal room temperatures are – Lounge / Sitting room 21°C to 23°C All Other areas 18°C We recommend setting the control to 22°C in the
lounge and 18°C in all other areas. If the temperature in the room is too low, adjust the heat level up by 1°C, too high adjust the heat level down by 1°C. Once the comfort level has been achieved you no longer need to adjust this control so its Set & Forget (if you do adjust it this may affect the amount of heat you have stored for the following day).
3. When will the Heater Blow Out Heat The heater will blow out warm air at the times set (see
full Operating instructions) and if the room requires heat. It also has 2 pre-set timed programs, these are;-
Home (if you are In all day) - If you have set the
temperature to your chosen level and the room requires heating, the heater’s fan will blow out heat between –
06.30 - 09.30, 1 1.00 - 13.00, 15.00 - 17.00 and 18.00 - 22.00
Out all day - If you have set the temperature to your
chosen level and the room requires heat the heater’s fan will blow out heat between –
06.00 - 08.30 and 17.00 - 22.00

Dial down once.
The times for Home & Out all Day can be changed
– refer to the main Operating Instruction
4. The Outer Case of the Heater The ends of the heater will always be cooler than the
middle (the Quantum 125 will have a larger cooler area on the left-hand side), this is normal.
The areas indicated below will be cooler, this is normal.
Because the majority of the heat is being blown out
of the bottom of the heater it’s very important to keep this area clear of any obstructions.
5. Summer Use When you no longer require heat you can turn both of
the switches supplying electricity to the heater to OFF. Leave them in this position until you need to use the heater again, at which time switch both switches to ON. The heater has a built in battery so it will remember the date & time and programmed settings and will revert to these when the wall switches are turned to On.
6. Advance If you want to change the status of the comfort mode
(fan operation) without changing the programmed times then you can use the Advance facility.
The advance facility allows the user to either switch
the fan on (Comfort on) when currently the fan is off (Comfort off) or switch the fan off (Comfort off) when currently the fan is on (Comfort on).
To indicate the advance feature has been selected the
text ADVANCE will be shown on the display screen (1). The advance feature is automatically disabled at the next programmed period.
To select advance press the Advance button (4) once.
The text ADVANCE will be displayed on the display screen to indicate that advance has been selected.
7. Boost If for any reason you have run out of heat you can
activate the Boost element to provide additional room heating. You can select the boost element to operate for 1,2,3 or 4 hours. Once the time has elapsed the boost element will automatically switch off.
To select the boost times you must fi rst select Advance
by pressing once the Advance button (4).
To select the boost times (1, 2, 3 or 4 hours) keep
pressing the Advance button. The boost time will be shown on the display screen (1). To cancel the boost operation keep pressing the advance button (4) until the advance and boost text on the display screen (1) is removed.
Note: The boost element runs on the peak
electricity tariff and therefore prolonged use of the boost element can lead to higher running costs.
