SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read the manual carefully before using this product for the first
time. Store the unit in a safe place to avoid electrical leakage, flaming or personal injury.
Do not immerse this product in water or any other liquids.  To avoid unit damage, do not operate the unit if the power cord is
broken, the unit is dropped or the unit is broken.
Use only qualified personnel to repair the unit. Improper repair can lead
to considerable danger to users.
Disconnect the unit from power supply before moving or cleaning the
product, as well as when the unit is not in use.
Operate the unit with specified electrical voltage.  Use this product for domestic use only and for the designed purpose.  Do not place objects on the product.  In order to avoid water leakage, please clean the water tank before
moving the product.
Do not tilt the unit, or leaking water may cause damage.  This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been supervised or given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Please keep the unit at least 50cm from the wall or other barriers whilst
operating.
Please install the unit following New Zealand wiring laws.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ASSEMBLY
1. Install the two water tank stabilising feet into the grooves under the water tank (into the front and back).
2. Place the cover into the water tank. Making sure the “FRONT” side is facing up and forwards.
3. Place the body of the unit on to the water tank.

TURNING THE DEHUMIDIFIER ON AND OFF
Turning on the unit
1. Plug the unit into a power source.
2. Press the power switch, the dehumidifier will start to work (the indicator light will turn green).
Turning off the unit
1. Press the power switch, the unit will stop working and the light will turn off.
2. Disconnect the unit from the power supply when the product is not going to be used for a extended periods.

EMPTYING WATER TANK
When dehumidifying, the water will drain into the water tank. The unit will stop working when the water tank is full and the indicating light will illuminate red. Follow the directions below to empty the tank.
1. Disconnect the unit from the power supply.
2. Lift off the body from the water tank.
3. Lift the water tank by the handles at the base of the tank, and pour out the water.
4. Put the water tank back. Then place the body on the water tank.
5. Connect the power source and press the power switch to turn on the unit.

USAGE INFORMATION
When the indicator light illuminates red, the tank is full. Empty the
tank and turn on the unit to resume operation.
When the unit turns off, please wait at least 3 minutes before
restarting the unit to prevent damaging the compressor.
The applicable operating temperature range for this unit is 5-32 If the dehumidifier cannot turn on, the indicating light does not
illuminate or the dehumidifier shuts down unexpectedly, please check that the plug is connected firmly to power supply. If the plug and power supply are in normal condition, please wait 10 minutes before restarting the unit. If the unit still does not start after 10 minutes, please contact the retailer where you purchased the product.
While the dehumidifier is operating, the compressor will help to
heat the room up slightly.
When turning on the unit the indicator light will flash green until the
compressor starts up. After this, the indicator light will change to a solid green light.
Whilst in defrost mode, the indicator light will flash green.  The unit is not to be placed on a surface which is soft or uneven to
avoid the unit causing noise, vibration, water or electrical leakage when operating.
In order to improve the performance of the dehumidifier, place the
unit in an open space away from barriers which may block airflow.
Never insert any objects into the unit or you may risk damaging the
unit.

COLLAPSIBLE STORAGE
The GDDEU10C is designed to save space when stored away. The water tank lid sits underneath the body with the water tank sitting on top to allow it to fit into small storage spaces.
1. Lift the body from the water tank and the water tank lid.
2. Empty water tank if necessary
3. Remove water tank lid from the water tank and place the water tank lid on the floor with the front side facing towards you. The white float switch should now be standing up.
4. Face the body towards you and place on top of the water tank lid so that the white float switch fits neatly into the allocated hole on the underside of the body. The dehumidifier should be sitting flat now.

5. Turn the water tank upside down and place it on top of the body. You may need to push in the vent disc to do so.
6. Pick up the water tank lid, body and bucket altogether and store away.

FILTER REMOVAL & CLEANING
1. Before removing the filter, unplug the unit.
2. Pull up the filter handle.
3. Wash the filter with cool water (cooler than 40℃) every two weeks, and
put filter back after it has air-dried naturally.
Disconnect the power cord from the power supply when turning off the unit for extended periods.
Wash the filter with cool water (cooler than 40℃) but not gasoline or alcohol every two weeks, and put filter back after it has air-dried naturally.
