• Let op de correcte positie van het kabel in het snijcontact, om foute contacten en een later nodige tijdrovende opsporing van fouten te voorkomen.

• Met de meegeleverde doelmatige riemhouder heeft u het opleggereedschap altijd bij u.

Bestimmungsgemässe Verwendung

Das Auflege-Werkzeug dient zur einfachen Verkabelung von dazu geeigneten starren Drähten in entsprechenden Schneidkontakten (z.B. in Telefon-/Netzwerkdosen).

1. Kenmerken

• Verkabeling van geschikte starre kabels in overeenkomstige snijcontacten

• Automatisch afschneiden van uitstekende kabeluiteinden

• Aan de zijkant haken voor de verwijdering van het kabel uit de snijhaak aanwezig, uitklapbaar

• Aan de zijkant metalen tong bijv. om te buigen of als schroevendraaier- vervanging e.d, uitklapbaar

3. Veiligheidsopmerkingen

De verkabeling mag uitsluitend dan gebeuren, wanneer alle leidingen stroom-/signaalloos zijn.

Anders bestaat gevaar voor een levengevaarlijke elektrische schok!

Bovendien kunnen de aangesloten toestellen beschadigd of vernietigd worden.

Het product heeft scherpe kanten; wees voorzichtig bij het gebruik van het opleg-gereedschap.

Het product buiten het bereik van kinderen houden.

3. Sicherheitshinweise

Die Verkabelung darf nur dann vorgenommen werden, wenn alle Leitungen strom-/signallos sind.

Ansonsten besteht die Gefahr eines lebensgefährlichen elektrischen Schlages!

Es könnten auch die angeschlossenen Geräte beschädigt oder zerstört werden.

Das Produkt hat scharfe Kanten, seien Sie vorsichtig bei der Benutzung des Auflege-Werkzeugs.

Das Produkt gehört nicht in Kinderhände!

4. Handhabung

Legen Sie das starre Kabel in die Spitze des Auflege-Werkzeugs ein und stecken Sie dann die Spitze des Auflege-Werkzeugs korrekt auf den Schneidkontakt auf. Kontrollieren Sie die korrekte Lage des Kabels. Drücken Sie dann das Auflege-Werkzeug in den Schneidkontakt hinein, bis ein Knack-Geräusch ertönt. Dabei wird das Kabel tief in den Schneidkontakt eingedrückt und die überstehende Kabelspitze abgeschnitten.

Kontrollieren Sie die korrekte Verkabelung.

Falls Sie das Kabel aus dem Schneidkontakt entfernen müssen, so benutzen Sie den Haken, der seitlich am Auflege-Werkzeug mit

Tournez-la sur 180° jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit encliquetée sur le dessus de l’outil.

5. Elimination des déchets

Eliminez le produit devenu inutilisable suivant les lois en vigueur.

6. Trucs & astuces

• N’utilisez l’outil de positionnement que quand les fils métalliques/les contacts sont sans courant/sans signal. Sinon, les appareils branchés risquent d’être endommagés.

En fonction de la nature du signal arrivant, une décharge électrique mortelle peut même se produire !

• Assurez-vous que le fil métallique est vraiment correctement posé dans la borne coupante afin d’éviter des contacts défectueux et la nécessité d’une longue recherche d’erreur fastidieuse.

• Grâce à l’étui pratique pour ceinture, vous avez l’outil de câblage toujours à disposition.



Le câblage ne doit être effectué que quand tous les câbles sont sans courant/sans signal.

The product has sharp edges. Therefore be careful when you are using the punchdown tool.

The product does not belong into the hands of children!

4. Handling

Insert the rigid cable in the tip of the punchdown tool. Then place the tip of the punchdown tool correctly on the cutting contact.

Verify the correct position of the cable. Then push the punchdown tool into the cutting contact until you

hear a cracking sound. In doing so the cable is pushed far into the cutting contact and the

excessive wire is cut off.

Check the correct wiring.

If you need to remove the cable from the cutting contact, use the hook on one side of the punchdown tool by opening it with your fingernail. Turn the hook by 180° until it locks into place on the upper side.

You can open the metal tongue on the other side of the punchdown tool to bend the cable or use it otherwise, e.g. as a screwdriver.

4. Gebruik

Steek het starre kabel in de punt van het opleg-gereedschap en steek dan de punt van het opleg-gereedschap correct op het snijcontact.

Controleer de correctie zitting van het kabel. Druk dan het opleg-gereedschap in het snijcontact tot er een klikge-

luid weerklinkt. Daarbij wordt het kabel diep in het snijcontact geschoven en het uit-

stekende kabeluiteinde afgesneden.

Controleer de correcte verkabeling.

Indien u het kabel uit het snijcontact moet verwijderen, gebruik dan de haak, die aan de zijkant van het opleg-gereedschap met een vingernagel uitklapbaar is. Draai hem met 180° om, tot hij aan de bovenkant inklikt.

Een aan de andere kant van het opleg-gereedschap uitklapbare metalen tong dient bijv. voor het buigen van het kabel of voor andere werkzaamheden, bijv. als vervanging voor een schroevendraaier e.d.

5. Afvalverwijdering

Doe het onbruikbaar geworden product volgens de geldige wettelijke voorschriften.

6. Tips & opmerkingen

• Gebruik het opleg-gereedschap alleen dan, wanneer de kabels/ contacten stroom- resp. signaalloos zijn. Anders kunnen er beschadigingen van de aangesloten toestellen worden veroorzaakt.

Je nach anliegendem Signal ist auch ein lebensgefährlicher elektrischer Schlag möglich!

• Achten Sie auf die korrekte Lage des Drahtes im Schneidkontakt, um fehlerhafte Kontakte und eine später nötige zeitaufwendige Fehlersuche zu vermeiden.

• Mit dem mitgelieferten praktischen Gürtelhalter haben Sie das Auflege-Werkzeug immer dabei.



Correct gebruik

4. Maniement

Introduisez le câble métallique rigide dans la pointe de l’outil de câblage et ensuite placez la pointe de l’outil de câblage correctement sur les bornes coupantes. Vérifiez à ce que le câble soit correctement positionné. Ensuite, pressez l’outil de câblage dans les bornes coupantes, jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un clic. Le câble est simultanément pressé à fond à l’intérieur de la borne coupante et l’extrémité du câble qui dépasse est coupée.

Assurez-vous que le câblage a été correctement effectué.

Dans le cas où vous devriez retirer le câble de la borne coupante, utilisez le crochet prévu à cet effet et se trouvant sur le côté de l’outil. Il peut être ouvert à l’aide d’un ongle. Tournez-le sur 180° jusqu’à ce qu’il soit encliqueté sur le dessus de l’appareil.

De l’autre côté de l’outil se trouve une languette métallique repliable qui sert par ex. à plier le câble ou à d’autres travaux, par ex. en remplacement d’un tournevis ou autres.

At the end of its useful life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.

6. Tips & Information

• Use the punchdown tool only when the wires are dead and signalfree. Otherwise, the connected devices can take damage.

Depending on what type of signal is applied, you could also receive a lethal electric shock!

• Observe the correct position of the wire in the cutting contact to avoid faulty contacts and time-consuming trouble shooting later on.

• With the supplied convenient belt holder you can carry the punchdown tool always with you.


