USB Type-CTM – All-In-One Plug!
More and more manufacturers are relying on USB
Type-C™ instead of the classical USB or micro USB
interface. Whether on a laptop, smartphone, or
tablet - the Type-C™ interface makes it possible
to connect peripheral devices simply and conveniently, because the plug is reversible. Gone are the
days when the user had to place him- or herself at
eye level with the USB interface in order to make
sure that the plug was being inserted in the correct
orientation.
In the long term, it is to be expected that the
Type-C™ will supersede the USB Type-A. Because
the new plug offers many advantages: for example, its compact size. It measures a mere 8.4 x 2.6
mm. This makes it possible for manufacturers to
accommodate more slots or develop even slimmer
devices. Furthermore, the interface with the USB
3.1 standard offers increased data transfer rates.

Thus, image signals can also be transmitted and
monitors connected. For an adequate power supply,
up to 100 V / 5A can be made available via the USB
Type-C™.
The current challenge: Whoever buys a new smartphone, tablet, or notebook nowadays, has to connect
peripheral devices via the traditional USB Type-A
connection. To do this, cables and adaptors are
necessary. We offer you cables and adaptors for all
established combinations in all price ranges.
*With the Type-C™ cables, pay attention to the
USB version. The cables are available in USB 2.0,
USB 3.1 Gen1 and USB 3.1 Gen2 versions, each of
which has different features.
