The Digitus HDMI HDCP Converter solves HDMI signal
transmission problems when the signal source and the
output device use different HDCP versions. It enables
a bidirectional conversion of the HDCP version
(1.4 to 2.2 or 2.2 to 1.4). The power is supplied via an
included micro USB cable.

Operation
The Bidirectional HDCP Converter will convert either
HDCP v1.4 to HDCP v2.2 or HDCP v2.2 to v1.4. If both
devices have the same HDCP version then the unit will
operate in a pass through mode.
To use simply connect a HDMI cable from your source
to the input and a HDMI cable from the output to the
display. A USB Micro-B port is provided if your source
does not provide enough power.
LEDs indicate the input and output HDCP version, Red
LED – v1.4, Blue LED - v2.2. No LEDs indicate that no
HDCP is present on the source.
