Step 5 – DW IP FINDER
™
Use the DW IP Finder™ included in the cam era’s accessory CD to scan the netwo rk and detect all MEGApix®
cameras. Use the DW IP Finder™ to set the camera’s network s ettings, perform firmware u pgrade or access
the camera’s web client.

Step 6 – WEB VIEWER
Once the camera’s netw ork settings have been setup prop erly, you can access the camera’s web viewer
using the DW IP Finder. To open the camera’s web viewer:
1. Find the came ra using the DW IP Finder.
2. Double-click on the cam era’s view in the results table.
3. Press the ‘View Camera Web site.’ The came ra’s web viewer will open up in your default web
browser.
4. Enter the camera’s username a nd password (default are admin / admin).
5. If you are accessing the c amera
for the first time, install th e ActiveX
files in order to view vide o from the
camera.
Network Setup
1. Run the CD included w ith the camera and click on the DW IP Finder™ file.
2. T he software will scan your net work for all supported came ras and display the results in the tab le. Allow up
to 5 seconds for the IP Inst aller to find the camera on the netwo rk.
3. You can pres s the ‘Refresh List’ to search the net work again, or filter the search resul ts by entering a value
in the filter box at the botto m of the page.
4. Ch eck the box next to ‘Display Camera T humbnail’ to view a JPEG image of the cam era’s view next to the
camera name on supported models.
5. Se lect a camera from the list by double-c licking on it. The camera’s network i nformation will appear.
If necessar y, you can adju st the camera’s network type.

7. To view the camera’s web vi ewer, click on ‘View Camera Website.’
8. To save the cha nges made to the camera’s settings, input t he ID
and PW of the camera for a uthentication and click ‘Save’.
9. If the camera needs to be reb ooted after the settings were chan ged, press the ‘Reboot’ button.
The camera will cycl e power and will appear back in the sea rch results once the reboot is complete.
10. To update the camera’s firmware fro m the DW Desktop Tool™, click on the firmware t ab, upload the
firmware file and sele ct the cameras to update. You can update multiple came ras at the same time.
Step 4 – ADJUSTING THE CAMERA’S SENSORS
The camera’s four indivi dual sensors can be rotated and tilted to ad just the camera’s views using the
motorized options in the c amera’s web viewer.
Select DHCP if the in ternet service is dy namic IP. This will allow the camera to re ceive its IP address
from the DHCP serve r.
Select STATIC to manually enter t he camera’s IP address, subn et mask, Gateway and DNS i nformation.
Contact your network administrator for more information.

‘Port Forwardin g’ has to be set in your netw ork’s router for
external access to the c amera.
