Pairing Instructions

Tap “Scale BS-801BT” from a list of devices that have been found. A message will pop up confirming successful pairing after a while.
Search for Bluetooth devices from an iPhone by tapping “Home Screen” > “Settings” > “General” > “Bluetooth” > “On”.

Tap “Scale BS-801BT” from a list of devices that have been found. When a 6 digit passkey is displaying on both the Android device and the scale, press the button on the scale and tap the "YES" button on the Android device to continue the pairing operation.
Search for Bluetooth devices from an Android device by tapping “Settings” > “Bluetooth” > “Search for devices”.
Search for Bluetooth devices from your PC by clicking “Start” > “Control Panel” > “Hardware and Sound” > “Devices and Printers” > “Add a device”.
Select “Scale BS-801BT” from a list of devices that have been found by your PC. When asked to select a pairing option, select “Let me choose my own passkey” and then enter the passkey “0000”.
A message will pop up confirming successful pairing. Click the Bluetooth icon in the Windows task bar > “Open Settings” > “COM Ports” to find out the incoming and outgoing COM ports mapped to the scale when using SPP profile.

INSTALLING OR REPLACING BATTERIES
• Open battery compartments on the back.
• Take out old batteries.
• Put new batteries in with +/- terminals in the direction as marked on your scale
• When LCD turns on, check that all segments in display are working.
• When the display changes to “0.0”, press the button to select weight units.
• Close battery compartments and wait for LCD to turn off.

PRECAUTIONS
• Please read this manual before using your scale
• Use your scale on hard and level floors.
• Do not use your scale on soft, wet, or slippery surfaces.
• Do not step on your scale with wet feet.
• Do not step on the display window, the edges or the handle of your scale.
• Do not spill water or other fluid onto your scale.
• Do not expose your scale to extreme temperature, humidity, or moisture.
ZEROING YOUR SCALE
Zeroing your scale must be performed after moving your scale to a new location, or
after installing or replacing batteries. To zero your scale:

The result will be sent to a previously paired Bluetooth-enabled
host device. The scale will display "good" if data has been sent over
successfully, or "FAIL" if not. The scale does not save any results.
