NOTE: 1. If electrical power is interrupted at any time, unit will turn OFF. Internal
rechargeable battery will continue to light display.
2. During any interruption of electrical power, count up time elapsed will return to 00.00. Programmed time will remain on display.
3. After power is restored, to re-activate unit and re-start programmed ON/ OFF timing, press START/STOP.
TROUBLESHOOTING: Make certain both an ON and an OFF time are programmed. Unit will not function with only an ON time programmed.

NOTE: Remove clear plastic COVER by gently lifting one edge with a paper clip before
programming unit. If there is a clear plastic film over face plate, remove and discard. Use COVER to protect against accidental setting changes during timings and to protect keys when unit is not in use.
NOTE: Receptacle outlet on back of unit has power only during count up ON timing.

DIGITAL DISPLAY AND LIGHTS
1. Steady red light on case indicates controller is receiving power.
2. Flashing red lights indicates ON/OFF timing is in progress.
3. HMS switch above red light sets timing hours H, minutes M, or seconds S.
4. Yellow PAUSE button pauses timing.
5. Blue START/STOP button starts/stops timing.
6. Blue buttons SET, 4/3, 2/1 set hours, minutes, or seconds for desired
programmed time.
7. Blue RST button resets unit and returns display to 00.00.
8. LCD display is divided into four areas:
A. Displays programmed ON time
B. Displays elapsed count up ON time
C. Displays programmed OFF time
D. Displays elapsed count up OFF time
OPERATION
1. Plug unit into power source. Red light will turn on.
2. Plug desired equipment into receptacle outlet on back of unit.
3. Remove clear plastic cover by gently lifting one edge with a paper clip.
4. To return display to 00.00, gently press RST with a stylus or the end of a bent paper clip. Or, move HMS switch to another position and then back to desired setting. (Example: HMS switch is set at H. Move switch to M and then back to H. Display will return to 00.00.)
5. Move HMS switch to desired time using a stylus or the end of a bent paper clip – hours (H appears on display), minutes (M appears on display), or seconds (S appears on display).
6. Press and hold SET button for three seconds. Display will flash.
7. Press 4 and 3 to set desired ON time. Press and hold button to advance setting rapidly.
8. Press 2 and 1 to set desired OFF time. Press and hold button to advance setting rapidly. Press SET or PAUSE when desired programmed time is on the display. Or, wait 8 seconds until display stops flashing to lock in programmed time.
9. IMPORTANT NOTE: Both an ON and an OFF time MUST be set for the unit to function correctly.
10. Press START/STOP to begin timing. Red light will continue to flash during ON/ OFF timing. Equipment only has power during ON timing.
11. Bar "—" on display appears above ON when ON-timing is in progress. Bar "—" appears above OFF when OFF-timing is in progress.
12. Unit will continue to repeat ON/OFF programmed timing. To stop timing, press START/STOP. Elapsed time returns to 00.00. Red light stops flashing and is continuously ON.
TIME-OUT
Press PAUSE to stop timing. Press PAUSE again to resume timing. Any number of time-outs may be taken during a timing.
NOTE
Pressing START/STOP while time is running will stop timing and return count up display to 00.00.
