Introduction
0.1°F (0.1°C) resolution over the entire measurement range. Advanced features include °C/°F unit selection and automatic power-off. The instrument is fully tested and calibrated to NIST-traceable standards. Careful use of this meter will provide years of reliable service.

Setup and Operation
Power
1. Remove the thermometer from the protective sleeve.
2. Press the Power on/off button to activate.
Taking Measurements
Insert the stem of the thermometer at least testing area.
Note: When the thermometer is initially powered on, the LCD will display “- 0.0 °C” or “32.0 °F” for two seconds. Then the actual temperature will display. To save battery life, the thermometer will automatically turn off after approximately 20 minutes.
Temperature Measurements
Press the °C/°F button to change the temperature unit from °C to °F.

Maintenance, Recalibration, and Repair
Cleaning and Storage
• The thermometer should be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent when necessary. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
• Store the meter in an area with moderate temperature and humidity.
Battery Replacement
When the battery power falls low, open the battery compartment on the rear of the unit and replace the LR44 battery. Close the cover securely when finished.

It is recommended that Digi-Sense products are calibrated annually to ensure proper function and accurate measure-
ments; however, your quality system or regulatory body may require more frequent calibrations.
