PaRe controller – remote for panasonic camera
After inserting 9V battery and mounting controler on tripod, connect left part (with wheel) of controller
to the right part (small with zoom rocker)
with USB 2.0 cable with 5 pole.

Limiting focus value in manual mode:
For unlock focus lock function, just push again lock button.
Store and recall focus value in memory :
Focus near
When we focusing far some object in the scene, for limiting focus upper distance push focus lock button once, than button will lighting red and also the wheel will not be able to exceed the locked value.
Also, when focusing closer we can set the lower limit by briefly pressing the focus lock button.
When you want store of current focus value, pres and hold
MEM button (1 , 2, or 3) while the neighboring button start
blinking what is sign that current value is stored on that
MEM button.

To store new value in memory, repeat same procedure on wanted MEM button.
While focusing with wheel, if you get to the value of one of the MEM button, this button will light.
For recall MEM values, push once wanted button.
Speed of transition between recalled memory value:
Default speed for transition is 1000ms (1 second).
Three fast click (like double click on computer mouse) on upper lock button will set transition time of 20ms (0.2 second).
Three fast click (like double click on computer mouse) on lower lock button will set transition time of 500ms (half second).
Three fast click (like double click on computer mouse) on MEM1 button will set transition time of 1 second .
Three fast click (like double click on computer mouse) on MEM2 button will set transition time of 1.5 second .
Three fast click (like double click on computer mouse) on MEM3 button will set transition time of 2 seconds .

Multiplier for encoder focus wheel:
For faster focusing you can change multiplier by short push (like click on computer mouse) on focus wheel in to the right.
One time (1) - will set multiplier x1 what is default value.
Three time (3) - will set multiplier x2, (double counting).
One push and hold 1second - will set multiplier x4.
One short and one long push (will disable focus wheel)
Default multiplier is x1.

IRIS – APERTURE POSSIBILITY
When the controller is in manual iris control mode, the potentiometer opens and closes the aperture. Good possibility is lock aperture value on controller. (useful when panning from dark to illuminated scene).
For lock aperture higher value, set value with potentiometer then hold upper lock button for 1sec to store aperture current value. Upper lock button will light green. For unlock again hold same lock button 1 second.
Hold 1 sec for lock/unlock upper limit.
Hold 1 sec for lock/unlock lower limit.

ZOOM ROCKER AND RECORD BUTTON
Smaller part of PaRe controller:
With Rocker we control zoom Wide or Tele and very smooth zooming speed. Button on top, have record start and stop function with red light signalization of record status.
